Ameloblastomas have many microscopic and clinical variations. Typically it has three biologic variants whichinclude solid, cystic and peripheral, out of which 14% to 22% of all cases are unicystic. Rare variantslikegranular cell subtype composed exclusively of eosinophilic granular cells present inboth peripheral andinner layers of tumoral islands. This is a unique case of cystic ameloblastoma affecting a 16-year-old malewith an unusual radiographic and microscopic pattern. This rare variant will create awareness for oral andmaxillofacial pathologists for a proper pathway of diagnosis.

Conservative management of a tooth has always been the primary option for a dental clinician in themanagement of severely decayed teeth. Therefore instead of going for the extraction or elaborate andexpensive treatment such as implant-supported prosthesis procedures like root amputation/resection andhemisection can be opted to salvage these compromised teeth for longer period of functioning. Rootamputation is a procedure of removing the root portion of the multirooted tooth that has been affected withsubgingival caries, periapical pathology, or any other defects. This article describes a case report of rootamputation in mandibular molars.

The expanding use and enthusiasm for dental polymer aren’t just ascribed to the brilliant surfaces of polymersyet besides their ideal mechanical and organic properties, minimal effort and simplicity of dealing withwhile preparing for a wide scope of utilizations. Polymers, for example, acrylic acid copolymers are utilizedas a dental adhesive; polylactic acids are utilized for dental pulp & dentin recovery and bioactive polymersare utilized as advanced drug delivery systems. The article aims to audit the writing on the headways in theutilization of PMs in dentistry.

The success of an endodontically treated tooth, when most of the coronal structure is lost, not only dependson the quality of Endodontic treatment but also its post-treatment coronal rehabilitation. This can be achievedby retaining a core with a post holding the final fixed prosthesis. In cases where the bulk of the natural crownis lost, a post and core with Endodontics treatment help to improve fracture resistance. Therefore it is ofgreat importance that an apt post system is chosen depending on the clinical condition of the tooth to berestored. When a large amount of tooth structure is lost or if an insufficient ferrule is present, a custom castpost and core is indicated. This paper elaborates on a case report depicting restoration for central incisorusing custom cast posts followed by PFM crowns.

Serial extraction or eruption with guidance is a pre-planned, premature extraction of certain primary teethto create space that has been compromised. It is followed by the extraction of certain permanent teeth tomaintain the proper proportion of tooth size and dentoalveolar bone space. However, this procedure ischallenging as it requires in-depth clinical knowledge and skill. This article provides essential insights to theclinicians to identify and categorize the cases meticulously for serial extraction, apply both theoretical andpractical aspects of growth and development, and diagnose the alarming signs of primary crowding in earlymixed dentition period.
