Abstract

Based on the fact in the field that the students learning outcomes using a variety of lectruring methods on social science learning proces are not yet completely succes. The aim of this research is to know the students learning aoutcomes comparation between role playing method and lecturing methods on social science learning proces of first grade students of junior high school 2 Jakenan Pati. The result of this study shows that there are a significant differenciation on students learning outcomes of experimental group compared control group. The afective obeservation result is on 16,58 range score which means being in a medium category and the control group is on 16,26 range score which means in a medium category too. Based on t-test results , the deviation score between the learning outcomes on experimental group and control group is 3,249 , score of thitung > ttabel (3,249>2,397). The experimental group got an increasing learning outcomes range on 22,76 and 10,69 for the control group.

Abstract

Coastal societies are defined as the unity of collective social people living in coastal areas. Coastal societies are still very thick with their culture. As time goes by, the times are growing so that lead to the development of new cultures, including the new culture in coastal societies. The attitudes of the coastal societies towards the new culture are to accept the new culture, but the coastal societies also reject new cultures that are deemed incompatible with the culture that already exist in coastal societies. The social skills of coastal societies towards a new culture are to keep upholding existing cultural values. So that, even though a new culture develops in coastal societies, coastal communities still keep upholding existing cultural values inherited from generation to generation. Ayah District is one of the districts in Kebumen Regency. Ayah District is one of the districts whose southernmost border is the Indian Ocean. So that, some of the people in Ayah District are coastal societies. Ayah culture is very diverse, ranging from language, knowledge systems, social organizations, living equipment systems and technology, living systems, religious systems and arts are still very thick with old culture. As time goes by, the times are growing so that lead to the development of new cultures, including the new culture of coastal societies in Ayah District. The purpose of this study was to find out how the attitudes and social skills of coastal societies in the Ayah District towards the existence of a new culture that is increasingly developing. The research method applied in this study is a qualitative method. The source of data in this study is the coastal society of the Ayah District considered and trusted to know the problem to be studied. Informants in this research are Village Heads, Community Leaders and Fishermen. Data collection techniques applied by using observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis applied was interactive model analysis. Masyarakat pesisir didefinisikan sebagai kesatuan sosial kolektif masyarakat yang hidup di kawasan pesisir. Masyarakat pesisir masih sangat kental dengan kebudayaannya. Semakin berkembangnya zaman semakin berkembang pula kebudayaan baru, begitu juga dengan kebudayaan baru di masyarakat pesisir. Sikap masyarakat pesisir terhadap kebudayaan baru yaitu menerima kebudayaan baru tersebut, tetapi masyarakat pesisir juga menolak kebudayaan baru yang dianggap tidak sesuai dengan kebudayaan yang sudah ada pada masyarakat pesisir. Keterampilan sosial masyarakat pesisir terhadap kebudayaan baru yaitu tetap menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai kebudayaan yang sudah ada. Sehingga meskipun kebudayaan baru berkembang di masyarakat pesisir, tetapi masyarakat pesisir tetap menjunjung tinggi nilai kebudayaan yang sudah ada yang diwariskan secara turun-temurun.

Abstract

This study is aimed to find out how the inheritance process and the role of families and society in inheriting the alms earth values to the young generations in Taban. In addition, this study is aimed to find out the obstacles in the process of inheriting the alms earth values to the young generations. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with data selection sources through purposive and snowball. The results of this study showed that the process of inheriting alms earth values was carried out through education done by families and society namely imitation, socialization and enculturation. The inheritance process requires the contribution of facilities through formal education like schools and non-formal education like family, peers, local government, and society. The obstacles in inheriting process are the negative impacts of globalization, like the presence of new cultures, the viewpoint of young generations that the noble values are not suitable with modern life, and the degradation tendency of the young generations’ affiliation to local culture. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pewarisan dan bagimana peran keluarga serta masyarakat dalam pewarisan nilai-nilai sedekah bumi pada generasi muda di Dusun Taban. Selain itu penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa saja hambatan dalam proses pewarisan nilai-nilai sedekah bumi pada generasi muda. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan penentuan sumber data melalui cara purposive dan snowball. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pewarisan nilai-nilai sedekah bumi dilakukan melalui pendidikan yaitu imitasi, sosialisasi dan enkulturasi yang dilakukan oleh keluarga dan masyarakat. Proses pewarisan memerlukan peran serta sarana yaitu memalui pendidikan formal berupa sekolah dan non formal yaitu keluarga, teman sebaya, pemerintah desa, serta masyarakat. Hambatan yang dialami dalam pewarisan yaitu dampak negatif globalisasi, berupa masuknya budaya baru, pandangan generasi muda bahwa nilai-nilai luhur tidak sesuai dengan kehidupan modern, serta turunnya tendensi kecintaan generasi muda pada budaya lokal.

Abstract

The implementation of the 2013 curriculum in learning one emphasizes the importance of literacy skills with the existence of the school literacy movement. The literacy movement at SMPN 2 Banyubiru has been running but has not been implemented optimally, especially at the learning stage and is still at the development stage. The research method used is a qualitative method, because it is to find out the activities and implementation of literacy in learning Social Sciences. The results showed: 1) Social literacy-based learning model used is a problem-based learning model and its implementation in the classroom requires the role of teachers and students, 2) There are obstacles faced by teachers in the planning, implementation and evaluation stages, 3) Learning outcomes students have differences after attending literacy-based social studies learning, whether those grades have increased or still remain the same. Pelaksanaan Kurikulum 2013 pada pembelajaran salah satunya menenkankan pentingnya kemampuan literasi dengan adanya gerakan literasi sekolah. Gerakan literasi di SMPN 2 Banyubiru sudah berjalan namun belum terlaksana secara optimal terutama pada tahap pembelajaran dan masih pada tahap pengembangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif, karena untuk mengetahui aktivitas dan pelaksanaan literasi dalam pembelajaran IPS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Model pembelajaran IPS berbasis literasi yang digunakan yaitu model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan pelaksanaanya didalam kelas memerlukan peranan dari guru dan siswa, 2) Terdapat kendala-kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi, 3) Hasil belajar siswa terdapat perbedaan setelah mengikuti pembelajaran IPS berbasis literasi, baik itu yang nilainya bertambah ataupun masih tetap sama.

Abstract

The Braja Fajar Village community is a transmigrant community from Java and Bali. The multicultural condition of the society requires transmigration communities to adapt to the natural environment and the surrounding environment. The process of adaptation can be through social interaction. The process of social interaction can produce cooperation between individuals in society. Through cooperation, relationships between individuals will get closer, so that individuals in the community will know each other and have good social relationship. Social interaction can also be used as a media to keep preserving Javanese cultural values in the trasmigation area. This process of social interaction can be internalized with social contact and communication as an individual effort in adapting to the natural environment and the community environment in transmigration areas. Masyarakat Desa Braja Fajar adalah masyarakat transmigran dari Pulau Jawa dan Bali. Keadaan masyarakat yang multikultural mengharuskan masyarakat transmigrasi untuk beradaptasi dengan lingkungan alam dan lingkungan sekitar. Proses adaptadi dapat melalui interaksi sosial. Proses interaksi sosial dapat menciptakan kerja sama antar individu dalam masyarakat. Melalui kerja sama, hubungan antar individu akan semakin dekat, sehingga individu dalam masyarakat akan saling mengenal dan saling memiliki hubungan sosial yang baik. Interaksi sosial juga dapat dijadikan sebagai wadah untuk tetap melestarikan nilai-nilai budaya Jawa di daerah trasmigrasi. Proses interaksi sosial ini dapat terinternalisasi dengan kontak sosial dan komunikasi sebagai upaya individu dalam beradaptasi dengan lingkungan alam dan lingkungan masyarakat di daerah transmigrasi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study were (1) Determine the application of the character values of social care through education scouting on students at SMPN 1 Cipari, (2) Determine the application of the character values environmental awareness through education scouting on students at SMPN 1 Cipari, (3) Knowing the factors driving and inhibiting the implementation of the character values social care through education scouting, (3) Knowing the factors driving and inhibiting the implementation of the character values matter educational environment through scouting. This type of research used in this research is the field or arena (field research) with descriptive qualitative model. . The results of the study explained that, (1) Values of social care character can be applied through scouting education. (2) Value character matter of an environmental can be applied through education scouting (3) There are many factors driving and inhibiting the implementation of the character values social care through education scouting, ( 4) There are many factors driving and inhibiting the implementation of eco-character values through education scouting. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Mengetahui penerapan nilai karakter peduli sosial melalui pendidikan kepramukaan pada siswa di SMPN 1 Cipari, (2) Mengetahui penerapan nilai karakter peduli lingkungan melalui pendidikan kepramukaan pada siswa di SMPN 1 Cipari, (3) Mengetahui faktor pendorong dan penghambat dalam penerapan nilai karakter peduli sosial melalui pendidikan kepramukaan, (4) Mengetahui faktor pendorong dan penghambat dalam penerapan nilai karakter peduli lingkungan melalui pendidikan kepramukaan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan atau kancah (field research) dengan model kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Nilai karakter peduli sosial dapat diterapkan melalui pendidikan kepramukaan, (2) Nilai karakter peduli lingkungn dapat diterapkan melalui pendidikan kepramukaan (3) Terdapat berbagai faktor pendorong dan penghambat dalam penerapan nilai karakter peduli sosial melalui pendidikan kepramukaan, (4) Terdapat berbagai faktor pendorong dan penghambat dalam penerapan nilai karakter peduli lingkungan melalui pendidikan kepramukaan.

Abstract

Source of learning on teaching is most important thing for educator, as bridge knowledge between teacher with students. Usually learning of social science the teacher use speech method to give lesson for students. That is inclined make the learning boring. This research focused to analysis process of utilization environtment’s school as source of learning, related planning, implementation and evaluation with obstacle that faced teacher when utilization source of learning environment’s school. Technique collection of data is interview, observation, note of field, and documentation. This research use qualitative analysis. Result of research indicate that teacher IPS SMP Negeri in Kecamatan Sraegn utilize environment’s school scope spcae in hedge’s school as source of learning IPS. Obstacles that faced teacher when use source of learning environment’s school is limited area school, material lesson, unavaible tool and infrastructure, time, ability of teacher, unreadliness students and teacher age. Sumber belajar merupakan salah satu hal yang penting untuk diperhatikan oleh pendidik, sebagai jembatan pengetahuan pendidik dengan peserta didik. Pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran IPS guru biasanya menggunakan metode ceramah dalam menyampaikan materi pada siswa. Hal tersebut cenderung membuat pembelajaran membosankan. Fokus penelitian ini adalah menganalisis proses pemanfaatan lingkungan sekolah sebagai sumber belajar IPS terkait perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi serta kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam pemanfaatan lingkungan sekolah sebagai sumber belajar IPS. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, obervasi, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, guru IPS SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Sragen memanfaatkan lingkungan sekolah ruang lingkup dalam pagar sekolah sebagai sumber belajar IPS. Kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru IPS dalam memanfaatkan lingkungan sekolah sebagai sumber belajar, yakni sempitnya lahan sekolah, tidak tersedianya sarana dan prasarana, waktu, kemampuan guru, pengawasan, materi pelajaran, ketidaksiapan siswa, dan usia guru.

Abstract

An effective learning can not be separated with a qualified learning process. It needs plan, implementation, and evaluation from a teacher to achieve the qualified learning process. One of the teacher’s tasks before conducting a certain learning is choosing an appropriate learning method to encourage the students in order to achieve a good learning output. The appropriate learning method to encourage the students’ learning output is show and tell method. The objectives of this research are: (1) to explain the learning output of social science’s students with the use of show and tell learning method, (2) to explain the learning output of social science’s students with the use of leaturing method, and (3) to analyse the significant differences between the learning output with the use of show and tell learning method and leaturing method. The method of this research is quasi experimental method. Tests and documentations are used to collect the data. T-test in SPSS program series 16.0 for windows is used to analyse the data. From the research, it can be concluded that social science’s learning using show and tell learning method is more effective than using leaturing method. It is shown in the average score of students’ learning output which followed sosial science’s learning using show and tell learning method is 7,25, higher than the average score of students’ learning output which followed leaturing method which is 6,31. Pembelajaran yang efektif tidak terlepas dari proses pembelajaran yang berkualitas. Untuk mencapai pembelajaran yang berkualitas diperlukan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi dari seorang guru. Salah satu peran guru sebelum melaksanakan pembelajaran adalah memilih model pembelajaran yang tepat untuk mendorong siswa agar hasil belajar baik. Model pembelajaran yang tepat untuk memacu hasil belajar siswa adalah model pembelajaran show and tell. Tujuan peneltian adalah: (1) menjelaskan hasil belajar IPS peserta didik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran show and tell, (2) menjelaskan hasil belajar IPS peserta didik yang menggunakan ceramah, dan (3) menganalisis perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar IPS peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran show and tell dan yang menggunakan ceramah. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimen semu (quasi eksperiment). Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan uji-T pada program SPSS seri 16.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian diperoleh simpulan bahwa pembelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran show and tell lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan menggunakan ceramah. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran IPS menggunakan model pembelajaran show and tell yaitu 7,25 lebih tinggi dari nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan ceramah yaitu 6,31.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of learning models on IPS Learning Outcomes. The object of research includes student and teacher of class VII State Junior High School in Gunungpati District. The approach use in this research is quantitative Expost Facto. Data collection method use in the form of questionnaires and documentation. While the data analysis technique use is regression analysis. The results showed that there is an influence between the learning model use by theacher to the result of the student of class VII State Junior High School in Gunungpati District. The result of calculation of simple regression analysis with equation got value a = 48,504 and b = 0,364 so by using simple linier regression equation formula as follows. Ŷ = 48,504 + 0,364 X . Suggestion for teacher should be more varied using learning modelsin IPS learning. While students so be able to utilize school facilities in accordance with the model of learning use by teachers. So it can be maximized the results of IPS learning. In addition, school should be able to complete the projector facilities in the classroom, the maps as an IPS Learning medium, and allow and facilitate student in the learning process of IPS can be out of class as a processof learning in social study process. So that the learning model is more varied, not monotonous in the classroom. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui model pembelajaran yang digunakan guru, hasil belajar, serta pengaruh model pembelajaran yang digunakan guru terhadap hasil belajar IPS Kelas VII SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Gunungpati. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Objek penelitian meliputi Peserta didik dan guru kelas VII SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Gunungpati. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah Kuantitatif Ex-Post Facto. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara model pembelajaran yang digunakan guru terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Gunungpati. Hasil perhitungan analisis regresi sederhana dengan persamaan didapatkan nilai a = 48,504 dan b = 0,364 sehingga dengan menggunakan rumus persamaan regresi linier sederhana sebagai berikut. Ŷ= 48,504 + 0,364 X. Sedangkan Siswa hendaknya mampu memanfaatkan fasilitas sekolah sesuai dengan model pembelajaran yang digunakan guru. Sehingga bisa memaksimalkan hasil belajar IPS. Selain itu Sekolah hendaknya mampu melengkapi fasilitas di dalam kelas seperti peta, globe, dan mengijinkan serta memfasilitasi siswa pada proses pembelajaran IPS dapat keluar kelas sebagai proses pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran IPS

Abstract

The character of the Indonesian nation that began to fade requires an attempt to overcome. Scouting is one of the extracurricular activities that became the character education effort. This study aimed to (1) know the value of the character of the nation that is planted through scouting in SMP / MTs in Mungkidregency, (2) to know the effort to cultivate the value of nation character through scouting in SMP / MTs in Mungkidregency; (3) to know the factors that support and obstruct the cultivation of nation character value through scouting in SMP / MTs in Mungkidregency. The research method usedwas descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation. The result of this research showed the value of the character of the nation that is planted through scouting in SMP / MTs in Mungkid regency were religious, discipline, creative, independent, democratic, love the homeland, and appreciate the achievements pursued through the activity planning, scouting contest and SKU test and SKK. The driving and inhibiting factors include internal factors (motivation of learners) and external factors (coach or coach, family, and school). Karakter bangsa Indonesia yang mulai pudar memerlukan sebuah upaya untuk mengatasinya. Ekstrakurikuler Kepramukaan merupakan salah satu kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang menjadi upaya pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) nilai karakter bangsa yang ditanamkan melalui ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan di SMP/MTs se-Kecamatan Mungkid; (2) upaya penanaman nilai karakter bangsa melalui ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan di SMP/MTs seKecamatan Mungkid; (3) faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat penanaman nilai karakter bangsa melalui ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan di SMP/MTs se-Kecamatan Mungkid. Metode penelitian yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai karakter bangsa yang ditanamkan melalui ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan di SMP/MTs se-Kecamatan Mungkid adalah religius, disiplin, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, cinta tanah air, dan menghargai prestasi yang diupayakan melaui perencanaan kegiatan, lomba-lomba kepramukaan dan uji SKU dan SKK. Adapun faktor pendorong dan penghambat antara lain faktor internal (motivasi peserta didik) dan faktor eksternal (pembina atau pelatih, keluarga, dan sekolah).
