Abstract

It is important to understand that the legal agreements must be recognized by law. The agreements that do not meet the statutory requirements, it is not recognized by law, even though the agreement is agreed upon by the parties concerned. The purpose of this study is to find out the agreement on risk liability between tourist and tour operator in participating of rafting adventure tour package. This research was conducted through a normative juridical approach that was descriptive in nature. The data source of this research was obtained from library research. Then it is analyzed using qualitative analysis which describes and analyzes important data.The conclusion of this study is that in carrying out assumption of risk and release of liability agreement between the tour operator and tourist in following the whitewater raftng adventure tour package.The tour operators still use standard agreements (exoneration clauses) in their transactions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze internal communication and work productivity of employees in star-rated hotels in Ajibata District, Toba Samosir Regency. To find out whether internal communication has a significant effect on employee productivity in the field of housekeeping. In this study quantitative types of research are used. The research data was collected from 15 respondents, the respondents' answers were then processed using the SPSS program by conducting validity tests, reliability tests, and simple linear regression tests. The results of the analysis show that internal communication has an effect of only 3.6% on work productivity. Viewed from these results, it can be said that internal communication has little effect on work productivity

Abstract

The research, entitled the role of Tourism Communication PT Lovely Holidays Field in promoting Regional Tourism object North Sumatra. Which aims to menganalisisis the tourism communication PT Lovely Holidays Field in promoting regional tourism object North Sumatra, analyze the factors of tourism communications owned PT Lovely Holidays Field, and analyze how promotion of regional tourist attractions of North Sumatra. Research methods using qualitative approach. Informant research taken based on the purposive sample (sample aims). Sample criteria must be active using communications tourism in promoting the attractions of North Sumatra. The selected samples there are 22 people. Data collection through interviews to obtain information from informants, research documents from observation. From the research found that tourists generally satisfied and not feel cheated by the promotional material communicated communicators (PT Lovely Holidays). According to all informants, PT Lovely Holidays strives to present information in a clear and not ambiguous. These maintain the trust customers over tour packages offered.

Abstract

This study aims to: Test and explain namely: the effect of culture of organizationon Commitment; The effect of Culture of Organizationon turnover intention; the effect of work satisfaction on commitment; The effect of work satisfaction on turnover intention; The effect of commitment on turnover intention; The indirect influence of Culture of Organizationon turnover intentions through commitment; The indirect effect of work satisfaction on turnover intention through commitment. Respoden as many as 109 people, all hotel employees. Data were analyzed by structural equation modeling. The results of the study are: Culture of Organizationhas a positive and not significant direct effect on Commitment; Culture of Organizationhas a positive and not significant direct effect on turnover intention; Work satisfaction has a positive and not significant direct effect on commitment; Work satisfaction has a direct negative effect and is not significant for turnover intentions; commitment has a negative and not significant direct effect on the intention to employees’ move; culture of organizationhas a negative and not significant indirect effect on turnover intention through commitment; Work satisfaction has a negative and indirect significant effect on turnover intentions through commitment.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze between placemet and development the staff with workperformance of the staff Pardede International Hotel Medan. The methode of research which used ismethode of survey with respondent total 40 people, which choosen according of proportional randomsampling. Which using quesioner to collect the variable of data positioning, developmend and good jobperformance. The result of this research find that : 1. There is positif relationship between placement (X¹) with good work performance (Y) withcoefisien corelation ry¹ =0,6767 and regretion equation y = 25,31 + 0,74 X¹ 2. There is positif relationship between development (X²) with good work perpormance (Y) withcorrelation coeficient ry² = 0,7112 and regression equation y= 33,15+0,65X² 3. There is positif relationship between placement (X¹) and development (X²) by doing togetherwith good work performance (Y) with double correlation coeficient Ry 123 = 0,793 and doubleof regression equation y = 10,78 + 0,453 (X¹) + 0,451 (X²) According about that research, the researcher can take the conclusion that good work performance of thestaff Pardede International Medan can improved by the attention about the correct employee placement.(the right man on the right place) accourding with the ability and skill with doing development of the staffto fostering ability of the staff and to create the personality, ability, skill to inovation, initiative anddicipline

Abstract

Investment and Promotion Agency of North Sumatra Province is the spearhead in attracting both FDI and domestic investment. The agency prepared a material role in the formulation of technical policy in the field of investment and promotion. In order to encourage investment regions, required appropriate promotional strategies to be considered by the local government, thus increasing investment in North Sumatra. Various activities are carried out and followed by the Investment and Promotion Agency of North Sumatra has not a significant impact in increasing investment, increasing promotional activity is not in line with the increase in the value of investments. The purpose of this research is to develop an effective promotional strategy that can increase the expected value of the investment. The population in this study were 7 people who become the most competent and feel the impact of investment promotion in North Sumatra. This type of research in this study is qualitative research, the data analysis through SWOT analysis. The results of data analysis showed that the stability strategy is an appropriate strategy to improve the effectiveness of investment promotion in North Sumatra. Stability Strategy aims to be diversified range of media campaigns and promotional activities increased intensity.
