Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze: The direct effect of motivation on job satisfaction at the Danau Toba International Hotel Medan ; Direct effect of work motivation on employee performance; The direct effect of the work climate on job satisfaction; the direct effect of the work climate on performance; Direct effect of job satisfaction on employee performance; Indirect effect of motivation on employee performance through job satisfaction; Indirect effect of work climate on performance through job satisfaction. Questionnaires were distributed to 124 respondents. Sample data were analyzed through structural equation modeling (SEM) with the maximum likelihood method. The research findings are: Motivation has a significant direct effect on job satisfaction at Danau Toba International Hotel (HDTI) Medan, with a coefficient of 0.967; Motivation has a significant direct effect on employee performance, with a coefficient of 1,778; Work climate has a direct effect not significant on job satisfaction, with a coefficient of -0.035; Work climate has a direct effect not significant on job satisfaction, with a coefficient of -0.097; Job satisfaction has a significant direct effect on employee performance, with a coefficient of -0.799; Work motivation does not have a significant indirect effect on performance through job satisfaction; The work climate has an indirect effect which is not synergistic on performance through job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to: Test and explain namely: the effect of culture of organizationon Commitment; The effect of Culture of Organizationon turnover intention; the effect of work satisfaction on commitment; The effect of work satisfaction on turnover intention; The effect of commitment on turnover intention; The indirect influence of Culture of Organizationon turnover intentions through commitment; The indirect effect of work satisfaction on turnover intention through commitment. Respoden as many as 109 people, all hotel employees. Data were analyzed by structural equation modeling. The results of the study are: Culture of Organizationhas a positive and not significant direct effect on Commitment; Culture of Organizationhas a positive and not significant direct effect on turnover intention; Work satisfaction has a positive and not significant direct effect on commitment; Work satisfaction has a direct negative effect and is not significant for turnover intentions; commitment has a negative and not significant direct effect on the intention to employees’ move; culture of organizationhas a negative and not significant indirect effect on turnover intention through commitment; Work satisfaction has a negative and indirect significant effect on turnover intentions through commitment.

Abstract

The hospitality industry is facing a series of formidable challenges today. Some of these are relatively new, such as the rise in digital commerce, the increasing influence of mobile and social media, and the general decline in brand loyalty. In today's globalization challenges such as growing market opportunities, pressure on shareholders for short term results, continued lack of guest trust, and lack of talented employees. This research was conducted with a sample of 347 budget hotel employees from several budget hotel groups in the Jakarta area. The quantitative research method using SEM with the SmartPLS 3.0 tool used in this study aims to predict path analysis between constructs. Job satisfaction is also an important factor in hotel budgets because several factors that affect employee performance have a significant influence if mediated by job satisfaction. Leaders in the hospitality industry can increase employee job satisfaction by providing different motivators for employees at work and therefore managers should also pay more attention to job aspects related to job satisfaction

Abstract

This study aims to (1) find out how much influence the work discipline and mastery of information and technology on employee’s performance at Darma Agung University and (2) find out which factors are the most dominant on employee’s performance at Darma Agung University. The theory used is the theory of Human Resource Management related to the behavior of the respondent. The technique of collecting the Primary data is conducted with questionnaires, supported by interviews. The samples in the study are 61 respondents. The research method used is quantitative descriptive. Data processing uses SPSS Version 2.0 software with descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.21. This shows that the independent variables studied were able to explain 21% of employee performance at Darma Agung University, and the remaining 79% was explained by other variables that were not examined. The results shows that work discipline and mastery of information and technology have a significant effect on performance of the employees at Darma Agung University, and work discipline factors have the most dominant influence on employee’s performance at Darma Agung University

Abstract

Hasil Uji t untuk variabel Kualitas Produk (X1) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian (Y), variabel Promosi (X2) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian (Y) dan variabel Desain Produk (X3) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian (Y). Hasil Uji F secara keseluruhan variabel Kualitas Produk (X1), Promosi (X2) dan Desain Produk (X3) terhadap variabel Keputusan Pembelian motor Yamaha Mio (Y) berpengaruh signifikan. Hasil Uji Koefisien Determinasi diperoleh Adjusted R Square = 0.835 atau 83,5% dipengaruh dari keseluruhan variabel penelitian.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh Pentingnya manajemen sumber daya manusia bermula dari faktor manusia sebagai pemain kunci dalam kegiatan operasional setiap perusahaan. Kemudian keterampilan yang dimiliki staf, semakin baik hasil yang dicapai. Sebaliknya, semakin rendah kualitas sumber daya manusia maka semakin rendah pula hasil yang ingin dicapai. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peranan pengembangan sumber daya manusia dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan Bank Syariah Indonesia Medan. Hasil penelitian menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis komperatif. Bank Syariah Indonesia Medan menerapkan pengembangan sumber daya manusia kepada karyawan berupa program diklat yang komprehensif, penerapan pengembangan sumber daya manusia yang diberikan baik itu training internal, lassical trainning, E-learning, agar berdampak positif serta meningkatkan kapabilitas pegawai (teknis/keahlian dan kepemimpinan). Berikut berdasarkan hasil analisis komparatif yaitu dengan membandingkan kondisi pada saat sebelum dan sesudah diterapkannya pengembangan sumber daya manusia kepada karyawan, dimana sebelum dilaksanakannya pengembangan sumber daya manusia kepada karyawan masih terdapat karyawan yang kurang handal dalam menerapkan SOP perusahaan, setalah diterapka proses pengembangan sumber daya manusia kepada karyawan baik itu internal maupun kesternal, karyawan menjadi lebih aktif berinteraksi dengan lingkungan sekitar kantor, karyawan dapat memahami SOP dengan baik. Setelah melakukan penelitian penulis memberi saran kepda pimpinan Bank Syarian Indonesia Medan selalu memberikan evaluasi terhadap pengembangan sumber daya manusia per tiap periode yang nantinya akan berdampak terhadap peningkatan kinerja pegawai seperti yang diharapkan perusahaan.

Abstract

Sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling diperoleh 80 konsumen yang melakukan perjalanan pada tahun 2021 untuk dijadikan sampel. Hasil (uji t) dimana variabel promosi (0,62) lebih besar dibandingkan dengan dari alpha 5% (0,05) atau thitung = 1,895 (n - k = 80 - 2 = 78) < ttable 1,990. Untuk potongan harga (0,00) lebih kecil dibandingkan dari pada alpha 5 % (0,05) atau thitung = 11,321 (n - k = 80 - 3 = 77) > ttable 1,991. Hasil (uji F) dimana nilai signifikansi F lebih kecil dari 5 % (0,05) atau nilai Fhitung = 98,880 > Ftable 3,12 (df1 = k - 1 = 3 - 1 = 2) sedangkan (df2 = n - k (n - k = 80 - 3 = 77). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini Promosi (X1) dan Potongan Harga (X2) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Minat Beli Konsumen (Y) pada PT. Manumadi Tour and Travel Bali.

Abstract

This study aims at finding whether there is an influence of motivation and work environment on the performance of Medan KPKNL employees. The hypothesis is that there is motivation and work environment motivation for the performance of KPKNL Medan employees. The sample used in this study is a saturated sample, which uses all members of the population as a sample obtained by 36 people, using the data collection methods Observation, Interview and Questionnaire. The method used by the author is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis Method, Classic Assumption Test, Coefficient Test, F Test and Determination Coefficient Test (R2). The results obtained from the regression equation obtained are Y = 15.866 + 0.424X1 + 0.069X2, which means that the significant performance of employees in Medan KPKNL. These results were obtained based on t count (2,210)> t table values ​​(1,690) and a significance value of 0.034 <0.05 was obtained. There is no influence of the work environment on employee performance in the Medan KNPL. These results are known because t value (0.342) < t table value (1.690) and found the significance value of 0.735 > 0.05. Simultaneously motivation and work environment on affect employee performance in KPKNL Medan. These results are known from the calculation of F value (6.795) greater than the F table value (3.28), while the significance value obtained is 0.003 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination obtained is 0.249 which means that 24.9% of the Performance of Medan KPKNL Employees (Y) is required by variations of the two independent variables, namely Motivation (X1) and Work Environment (X2) while the remaining 75.1% was influenced by other variables not examined.
