Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan koleksi perpustakaan di Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Al-Anwar Sarang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif diskriptif, teknik pengumpula melalui wawancara serta studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian bahwa perpustakaan STAI Al-Anwar Sarang telah melaksanakan pengembangan koleksi perpustakaan melalui tahap analisis pengguna, seleksi koleksi, pengadaan koleksi, penyiangan koleksi dan evaluasi koleksi. tahapan ini dilakukan dengan baik tapi ada kendala yang dihadapi oleh pustakawan yaitu tidak adanya kebijakan pengembangan koleksi dan kebijakan koleksi. adapun saran dari peneliti yaitu membuat kebijakan pengembangan koleksi dan kebijakan seleksi.Kata Kunci: Pengembangan koleksi, perpustkaan perguruan tinggi, pengembangan perpustakaan AbstractThis research aims to determine the process of developing library collections at the Al-Anwar Sarang Islamic College. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, collecting techniques through interviews and literature study. The research results show that the STAI Al-Anwar Sarang library has carried out library collection development through the stages of user analysis, collection selection, collection procurement, collection weeding and collection evaluation. This stage was carried out well but there were obstacles faced by librarians, namely the absence of a collection development policy and collection policy. The suggestions from researchers are to create a collection development policy and selection policy. Keywords: Collection development, university library, library development

Abstract

AbstrakSebagai pencari informasi, sebelum melakukan pencarian informasi, terlebih dahulu harus mengetahui kebutuhan-kebutuhan informasi. Karena dengan memahami kebutuhan informasi, pencari informasi mampu menentukan topik pencarian informasi. Dalam paradigma baru, khususnya perpustakaan merupakan sesuatu yang hidup, dinamis, segar menawarkan hal-hal yang baru, produk layanannya inovatif dan dikemas sedemikian rupa. Sehingga apa pun yang ditawarkan oleh perpustakaan akan menjadi atraktif, interaktif, edukatif dan rekreatif bagi pengunjungnya. Dalam hal ini juga membahas mengenai strategi pencarian informasi  di dunia perpustakaan. Ada 3 hal penting dalam mencari  informasi, yaitu akurat, tepat waktu dan mudah dimengerti. Untuk itu masyarakat yang mendapat kemudahan akses informasi akan mampu belajar lebih banyak, sebab dengan informasi yang diperolehnya akan  menambah wawasan dan pengalaman. Kebutuhan informasi muncul akibat adanya kesenjangan pengetahuan yang ada dalam diri seseorang dengan kebutuhan informasi yang diperlukan. Dalam makalah ini terdapat dua (2) model-model prilaku yang dibahas yaitu: model Wilson, dan model Ellis. Diantara model-model yang dikaji ialah Starting, Chaining, Browsing, Differentiating, Verifying, Ending.Kata Kunci: Model-Model, Perilaku Pencarian Informasi Abstract             As an information seeker, before searching for information, you must first know your information needs. Because by understanding information needs, information seekers are able to determine the topic of information search. In the new paradigm, especially libraries are something that is alive, dynamic, fresh, offering new things, its service products are innovative and packaged in such a way. So whatever the library offers will be attractive, interactive, educational and recreational for its visitors. In this case, we also discuss information search strategies in the library world. There are 3 important things in finding information, namely accurate, timely and easy to understand. For this reason, people who have easy access to information will be able to learn more, because the information they obtain will increase their insight and experience. Information needs arise due to a gap in a person's knowledge and the required information needs. In this paper there are two (2) behavioral models discussed, namely: the Wilson model and the Ellis model. Among the models studied are Starting, Chaining, Browsing, Differentiating, Verifying, Ending.Keywords: Models, Information Seeking Behavior

Abstract

AbstrakDi era teknologi informasi saat ini, sistem informasi perpustakaan menjadi hal yang sangat penting. Seperti halnya sistem informasi penelusuran informasi (Integrated Library Information System) IBRA yang dapat membantu pemustaka mencari informasi yang dibutuhkan. Penelitian berjudul  Evaluasi  Kinerja (Integrated Library Information System) IBRA sebagai Sarana Temu Kembali Informasi di SD Muhammadiyah Sapen ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan 6 kreteria evaluasi temu kembali informasi menurut  Salton dan McGill yang dikutip oleh Chownhulury, yaitu covererage of the collection (Cakupan Koleksi), precesion, Respon Time’s, (rentan waktu), Effort atau upaya pengguna, covererage of the collection ( Cakupan Koleksi), Penyajian data. Hasil penelitian Tingkat keefktifan kinerja IBRA dan proses mengunakan pendekatan subjek dan judul hasil menunujukan bahwa nilai precision memiliki nilai efektif. Sistem tidak menampilkan waktu perolehan data, Sedangkan dalam segi upaya pengguna dalam penggunaan IBRA masih kurang, tidak ditemukannya menu help. Selain itu Tampilan sistem temu kembali perpustakaan SD Muhammadiyah Sapen cukup menarik, sehingga penguna akan merasa senang dan nyaman ketika memggunakan OPAC. Cakupan koleksi yang ditampilkan IBRA cukup lengkap lengkap. Terdapat pdf, tampilan sampul, data bibliografi. Namun belum menampilkan abstrak.Kata kunci: Evaluasi, perpustakaan sekolah, sistem informasi perpustakaan, IBRA AbstractIn the current era of information technology, library information systems become very important. As with IBRA's Information-driven information information system (Integrated Library Information System), it can help users search for the information they need. The research entitled The Evaluation of Performance (Integrated Library Information System) of IBRA as a Information Retrieval Facility at SD Muhammadiyah Sapen is a qualitative research using 6 criteria of evaluation of information retrieval according to Salton and McGill cited by Chownhulury, covererage of the collection (Collection Coverage) , precesion, Time's Response (time-sensitive), Effort or user effort, covererage of the collection, Presentation of data. The results of the research The effectiveness level of IBRA performance and the process of using the subject approach and the title of the results indicate that the precision value has an effective value. The system does not display data retrieval time, While in terms of user effort in the use of IBRA is still lacking, not find the help menu. In addition, the display of library retrieval system SD Muhammadiyah Sapen quite interesting, so penguna will feel happy and comfortable when memggunakan OPAC. Collection of collections displayed IBRA complete enough complete. There is a pdf, a cover view, bibliographic data. Abstract

Abstrak Teknolgi informasi sangat penting terhadap lembaga di bidang informasi, salah satunya perpustakaan. OPAC  (Online  Public  Access  Catalog)  adalah  sistem yang    mampu    membuat    pencarian    buku    dan    skripsi    di perpustakaan menjadi lebih menarik dan efisien. SLiMS dapat memberikan kemudahan pengguna untuk melakukan katalog pada bahan pustaka. Dengan  informasi  berupa  judul,  penyusun,  npm,  tahun,  studikasus,   pembimbing,   tema,   dan   abstraknya   ditampilkan   di halaman  detail  katalog skripsi. Untuk sisi  petugas  perpustakaan sistem  ini  mampu  membuat  lebih  mudah  dalam  pengaturan skripsi   jurusan   teknik   informatika   yang   sudah   masuk   ke perpustakaan.  Metodologi  yang  digunakan  dalam  pembuatan website   ini   menggunakan   metode waterfall.   Kegiatan   yang dilakukan  antara  lain  analisis  kebutuhan  (requirement),  desain sistem (system design), pengkodean dan uji coba program (coding and     testing),     implementasi     program,     dan     pemeliharaan (maintenence).  Perangkat  lunak  pendukung  meliputi text  editor(notepad++  atau  sublime  text),  phpmyadmin,  wampserver  atau xamp,   MySQL   Workbench,   astah   community,   Justinmind prototyper free. Website ini menggunakan teknologi HTML5 dan CSS3.  Harapan  penulis  dengan  lahirnya website  ini   mudah-mudahan   dapat   membantu   para   mahasiswa   dalam   mencari referensi dan acuan untuk mengerjakan skripsinya.Kata kunci: SLiMS, katalog, OPAC, HTML5, CSS3 AbstractInformation technology is very important to institutions in the field of information, one of which is the library. OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) is a system that is able to make searching for books and theses in the library more interesting and efficient. SLiMS can make it easy for users to catalog library materials. With information in the form of title, author, npm, year, case study, supervisor, theme, and abstract, it is displayed on the thesis catalog detail page. On the librarian's side, this system is able to make it easier to arrange thesis majoring in informatics engineering that has entered the library. The methodology used in making this website uses the waterfall method. Activities carried out include requirements analysis, system design, program coding and testing (coding and testing), program implementation, and maintenance. Supporting software includes a text editor (notepad++ or sublime text), phpmyadmin, wampserver or xamp, MySQL Workbench, astah community, Justinmind prototyper free. This website uses HTML5 and CSS3 technology. The author hopes that with the birth of this website, hopefully it can help students in finding references and references to work on their thesis.Keywords: SLiMS, catalog, OPAC, HTML5, CSS3

Abstract

AbstrakArtikel ini membahas tentang preservasi arsip naskah kuno dengan metode enkapsulasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi pustaka. Mengingat betapa penting dan berharganya informasi yang terdapat didalam naskah kuno maka perlu dilestarikan agar tidak rusak/musnah sehingga keberadaannya bisa bermanfaat bagi masyarakat. Pelestarian ini dikenal dengan istilah preservasi dan merupakan salah satu ikhtiar untuk memperlambat proses kerusakan atau memperbaiki jika sudah terjadi kerusakan dengan berbagai macam metode. Di artikel ini, penulis memfokuskan hanya pada metode enkapsulasi.Kata Kunci: Preservasi, Metode Enkapsulasi, Naskah Kuno AbstractThis article discusses the preservation of ancient manuscript archives with the encapsulation method. This study uses qualitative research methods with data collection techniques using literature studies. Considering how important and valuable the information contained in ancient manuscripts is, it needs to be preserved so that it is not damaged / destroyed so that its existence can be useful for the community. This preservation is known as preservation and is one of the efforts to slow down the process of damage or repair if damage has occurred with various methods. Abstract

AbstrakArtikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana akses dan layanan arsip statis di era keterbukaan informasi publik, dan bagaimana tantangan yang dihadapinya. Metode penulisan artikel ini studi pustaka yaitu dengan mengumpulkan sumber-sumber seperti buku-buku,  jurnal-jurnal, serta sumber-sumber lain yang berhubungan dengan tema penelitian. Hasil penelitian meliputi: terdapat dua jenis layanan dalam akses arsip yaitu layanan langsung atau manual dan layanan tidak langsung yaitu melalui email, telpon, media pencarian arsip SIKS, melalui korespondensi atau bentuk komunikasi lainnya. Keterbukaan informasi publik dalam UU Nomor 14 Tahun 2008 memberikan peluang bagi para jurnalis, peneliti, dan masyarakat yang mengakami kendala dalam menelusuri informasi sehingga memudahkan dalam temu kembali informasi selain itu dampak dari keterbukaan informasi ini memicu terjadinya tindakan plagiarisme.Kata Kunci: Akses,  Layanan Arsip, Keterbukaan InformasiAbstractThis article aims to find out how to access and service archives in the era of public information disclosure, and how the challenges they face. The method of writing this article is a literature study by collecting sources such as books, journals, and other sources related to the research theme. The results of the study include: there are two types of services in archive access, namely direct or manual services and indirect services, namely via email, telephone, media for searching SIKS archives, through correspondence or other forms of communication. Disclosure of public information in Law Number 14 of 2008 provides opportunities for journalists, researchers, and the public who experience obstacles in tracing information so as to facilitate information retrieval. In addition, the impact of this information disclosure triggers plagiarism.Keyword: Access, Archive Services, Information Disclosure
