Abstract

This study delves into the societal responsibility of nations for ensuring the well-being of their citizens through the implementation of social welfare systems, notably the social security program managed by the Social Security Organizing Agency (BPJS). The historical evolution of PT Jamsostek (Persero) underscores the development of social security programs in Indonesia, emphasizing the significance of safeguarding workers' economic and social interests. This research focuses on BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Tanjung Perak Branch, aiming to analyze its marketing strategies to augment membership through the SWOT analysis method. Employing a qualitative approach, the study employs interviews, observations, and documentation for data collection. The findings reveal strengths in BPJS Ketenagakerjaan's extensive social security offerings, weaknesses in communicating with and raising awareness among informal workers, opportunities for enhancing worker welfare, and threats posed by declining membership due to competitive forces. Drawing on the SWOT analysis, the study suggests a conglomerate diversification strategy, wherein BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Tanjung Perak can introduce new programs to previously untapped segments, thus bolstering its membership base. The research enriches the understanding of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan's marketing strategies and contributes insights for broadening its membership outreach.

Abstract

PT. Karya Indah Medika is a manufacturing company engaged in the production of hospital furniture. One such product is a patient bed. In each period of patient bed production, there are still defects that occur such as coating defects, dented iron, and broken wheels. The purpose of this study is to determine the percentage of defects, and the causes of defects, and to obtain the greatest risk of failure in the production process in the RPN value so that the type of failure can be determined which should be prioritized first so as soon as possible corrected and determined corrective steps to reduce product defects. The research method used is Six Sigma and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA). The Six Sigma method includes Define, Measure, Analyze and Improve which will be used to determine the percentage of defects that occur. While the FMEA method is carried out as an effort to improve quality. Based on the research calculations, the results obtained were a sigma value of 3.19σ. Based on calculations using the FMEA method, the largest RPN is obtained for coating defects, namely ink absorption that is not optimal, broken wheel defects, namely operators who are too hasty during assembly, and dented iron defects, inappropriate material quality. Advice that can be given is to control and monitor ink absorption, operators who are more careful and not in a hurry, and check the quality of raw materials before processing.

Abstract

The KAI Access application is a transportation service application from PT Kereta Api Indonesia. From a survey conducted by researchers, there is application dissatisfaction by users. This study aims to determine the effect of five TAM variables on user satisfaction and repurchase. In accordance with the research objectives, several TAM variables will be used, namely actual use, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, perceived risk, and perceived trust. It will also be known the effect of TAM variables on application user satisfaction, and repurchase of train tickets by application. After analyzing with SEM coherently, the results show that the actual use variable has a C.R. value of 6.095, has a positive and significant value on application user satisfaction. With a C.R. value of 7.668, the perceived usefulness variable has a significant positive value on application user satisfaction. With a C.R. value of 6.763, the perceived risk variable has a significant positive value on application user satisfaction. The perceived trust variable in the application has a C.R. value of 6.094 and has a significant positive value on application user satisfaction. With a C.R. value of 7.434, the application user satisfaction variable has a positive and significant value on the repurchase of train tickets through the application.

Abstract

PT. XYZ  is one of corporate company engaged in the snack industry. One of  PT. XYZ fast moving product is Choco Roll. Choco Roll product have many forming raw material. There is around 20 raw material and packaging material to make 1 box of Choco Roll. Problem that aries at PT. XYZ is in the the supply of raw materials related to the scheduling of ordering raw materials. The company wants to store enough raw material inventory to be able to immediately fulfill all production processes, but this method is not effective and efficient because it will increase storage costs, expiration may occur, and there is a risk of price drops at any time. When a company wants to try to reduce costs by decrease the level of inventory of raw materials on hand, namely the inventory of raw materials that are already in the warehouse, but this condition will disrupt the production process if there are frequent shortages or stockouts of raw materials. Therefore to reduce the inventory cost, it needs to be make best planning in determining the number of ordered of raw material. The company must use a more scheduled raw requirements planning method to obtain a more optimal inventory cost. The purpose of this study is to determine the exact number quantity and order frequency to reduce inventory cost. This research uses lotting technique Least Total Cost (LTC) and Least Unit Cost (LUC) base on Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method. Based on the result of the Choco Roll demand from June 2022 to May 2023 obtained the total inventory cost of IDR 67,683.53 decrease by 25% to company real planning.
