Abstract

Today, the people of the World including Indonesia have entered the era of industrial revolution 4.0 which is characterized by increasing internet connectivity, as well as the rapid development of information and communication technology (ICT). Efforts to improve the quality of human resources (HR) through education channels are the main key in following the development of the industrial revolution 4.0, one of which can be achieved by optimizing the use and application of digitalization technology in education. Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pekanbaru applies web-based semester exams in the process of assessment and evaluation of students' learning. This study uses qualitative approach. The results of the study implementation of web-based semester exams history subjects in MAN 1 Pekanbaru there are four stages conducted, namely the petrencanaan stage, the organizing stage, the implementation stage and the reporting stage.While the inhibitory factors of the implementation of web-based semester exams are power outages and network loss, devices that often experience problems, exam problems that appear incomplete. The impact of the implementation of web-based semester exams on the effectiveness of historical learning assessment at MAN 1 Pekanbaru is economical, time effectiveness, assessment objectives and easy and flexible.

Abstract

Community life is living together with other people based on one bond, one calling, and one commitment. This study aims to determine whether community life at the Wacana Bhakti Intermediate Seminary can help seminarians get to know other cultures so that cultural exchanges occur in the community, as well as see if there are inaccurate perceptions among seminarians. The respondents of this study were seminarians (community members) in the Wacana Bhakti Minor Seminary starting from grade 1 to the Upper Preparatory Class (KPA). The research method used in this scientific article uses descriptive quantitative methods. The findings in this study indicate that cultural exchange is already owned by almost the entire population and this is supported by intercultural communication that occurs within the community. This can be seen from as many as 58 seminarians who have understood correctly about intercultural communication. The most studied culture in this community is the culture of the Batak and Javanese tribes. Not only that, the researchers found that there are some people who do not even recognize the culture of their own tribe. Therefore, the community may be able to strengthen the communication that occurs between members from different cultures, either directly or indirectly.

Abstract

Berdasarkan pembahasan di atas, ternyata penggunaan metode sains dapat diterapkan dalam penelitian arkeologi epigrafi di Indonesia. Hal ini berkaitan dengan adanya perhitungan matematis pada sistem pertanggalan dan konsep astronomi dalam prasasti maupun naskah kuno, mengungkap aspek-aspek keruangan seperti yang diceritakan dalam sumber data tekstual prasasti maupun naskah kuno dengan dukungan data-data dan pendekatan geologi dan geo-morfologi terutama berkaitan dengan peristiwa-peristiwa alam tertentu, dan selanjutnya dalam penggunaan teknologi sains untuk melakukan perekaman data dan analisis material bahan khususnya cat pada inskripsi atau tulisan kuno ditulis menggunakan media tersebut. Selain itu dalam penerapan teknologi sains, para ahli arkeologi epigrafi juga harus ikut dalam melindungi bagaimana tulisan-tulisan yang berbahan mudah pudar terutama dari cat supaya tidak hilang atau aus. Hal ini juga sebagai kewajiban untuk melindungi warisan budaya tersebut.

Abstract

Pada masa zaman purba bangsa mesir sudah menulis buku-bukunya pada semacam kertas yang terbuat dari semacam daun tumbuh-tumbuhan yang disebut “papyrus”. Berawal dari Johannes Gensfleisch zur Laden zum Gutenberg yang berkebangsaan Jerman telah menemukan mesin cetak di 1450-an. Nula-mula diperuntukkan mencetak buku-buku untuk kepentingan keagamaan, sehingga sejarah penerbitan tidak bisa dipisahkan dari keberadaan misionaris. Di Indonesia perkembangan dunia percetakan buku diawali yaitu tahun 1619 saat pemerintah kolonial Belanda menempatkan Batavia menjadi pusat kekuasaan di Hindia Belanda. Politik perbukuan pada masa kolonial Belanda secara formal yaitu pada tanggal 14 September 1908 saat pemerintah mendirikan Commissie voor de Inlandsche School en Volkslectuur (Komisi Bacaan Rakyat). Pada tahun 1910, Komisi Bacaan Rakyat mampu meningkatan kegiatan saat D.A. Rinkes sebagai sekretaris komisi diberi wewenang untuk mengendalikan komisi. D.A. Rinkes melakukan perekrutan ahli bahasa Sunda dan Jawa guna mengawali aktivitas penerjemahan berbagai karya asing. Kemudian berdasarkan Keputusan No. 63 pada tanggal 22 September 1917 menjadi Kantoor voor de Volkslectuur. Bagaimana lembaga ini kemudian diganti nama dan menjadi Balai Poestaka, dengan dipimpin oleh D.A. Rinkes. Pada 1921, Balai Poestaka sudah mempunyai percetakan sendiri, kemudian saat itu dikenal sebagai ukuran gengsi intelektual dikarenakan para pembaca ialah para kaum elite dan juga dikarenakan memakai Bahasa yang tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of struggle carried out by Nyai Ageng Serang, to find out the role of Nyai Ageng Serang in the Diponegoro war in 1825-1830 to find out how Nyai Ageng Serang was initially involved in the rebellion led by Prince Diponegoro. Research and writing about the persistence and struggle of Nyai Ageng Serang in the Diponegoro war in 1825-1830 using the Historical Research Method. From this research, it can be concluded that Nyai Ageng Serang is a female warrior figure whose education in her family environment is anti-colonial. Made Nyai Ageng Serang one of the rebels in the Diponegoro war to expel the Dutch from Indonesia. And there are values that can be taken in the struggle of Nyai Ageng Serang, including Nationalism, Patriotism, and persistence and struggle.
