The aim of this research is to evaluate the association between participation in performance pay systems and employees’ satisfaction with job conditions. A survey method was utilized to collect data from subordinates who serve at disaster management agencies in West Malaysia. The findings of SmartPLS path model analysis display four important outcomes: first, the relationship between participation in pay plans and satisfaction with intrinsic job conditions was not significant. Second, relationship between participation in pay operations and satisfaction with intrinsic job conditions was not significant. Third, the relationship between participation in pay plans and satisfaction with extrinsic job conditions was significance. Finally, the relationship between participation in pay operations and satisfaction with extrinsic job conditions was significance. This finding demonstrates that participation in pay plans and participation in pay operations do not act as important predictors of employees’ satisfaction with intrinsic job conditions. Conversely, participation in pay plans and participation in pay operations do act as important predictors of employees’ satisfaction with extrinsic job conditions. Further, this research delivers discussion, implications and conclusion.

The drought disaster in Indonesia has occurred since 1811. Indonesia with tropical climate is highly sensitive to the climate anomaly El-Nino Southern Oscillation (ENSO) which is a source of drought. In addition to El Nino, the drought in Indonesia is also influenced by positive Indian Ocean Dipole (IOD) which constitute a regional climate phenomenon in Indian Ocean. The drought has widespread, complex impacts which lasts for a long time after the drought itself ends. This widespread impact lasting for so long is caused by the fact that water is a basic need and vital for every living creature, irreplaceable by any other resources. The impacts in agriculture sector include limited irrigation water, reduced planting areas, decreased land productivity, declined crops production, and less farmer’s income, and from social perspective, the drought disaster may promote division and conflict which expand to include the conflict between water users and even between (local) governments. This paper summarizes efforts in managing drought disaster in Indonesia from the context of disaster management cycle.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of fundamental and macroeconomic analysis on stock price. The research was conducted at a coal company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Fundamental analysis measured by current ratio, debt to equity ratio (DER), earning per share (EPS), return on assets (ROA), and total assets turnover (TATO), while macroeconomic analysis is measured by inflation and exchange rate. Current ratio (CR) has a positive effect on Stock Price. Strengthening this level of liquidity can provide information to investors to decide to buy shares of companies that tend to be healthy and stable. Return on assets (ROA) has a positive and significant influence on stock price. Efforts to maximize the level of profitability by increasing the value of return on assets can provide information to investors that investments invested in the company will provide good profit. The impact of stock prices will rise. While debt to equity ratio (DER), earning per share (EPS) and total assets turnover (TATO) have no effect on Stock Price. Macroeconomic analysis shows: (a) Inflation rate has no effect on stock price of coal company. This can be because the inflation rate in Indonesia is at the level of 6% -7% per year and included in the category of mild inflation. Mild inflation resulted in very slow economic growth, not affecting stock prices. The exchange rate has a negative and significant effect on coal company stock price. If the Rupiah is depreciated then the stock price of the coal company will decrease.
