Abstract

The management of used goods needs to be improved in order to reduce pollution and contamination. The largest source of waste comes from settlements, which 75% consists of organic waste and only 25% inorganic waste. Inorganic waste management is still very minimal. Inorganic waste is very difficult to degrade and cannot even be degraded at all naturally, therefore a very large area is needed to compensate for the production of this type of waste. One of the most common inorganic waste found in the community is a plastic straw. Plastic straws are a drinking aid that is only used occasionally and in turn, increases the amount of waste available. Plastic straw waste in Singkawang City is one of the elements causing pollution that is not easily broken down because it is made of inorganic plastic. Plastic straw waste in Indonesia reaches more than 93.2 million per day, because of its large potential, it would be better if this plastic waste is used as a product and creativity in order to organize plastic waste properly, so that plastic really supports people's economic life community.

Abstract

Nature tourism is one of the tourism that is trending and loved both local and foreign tourists. It is expected to bring an impact on improving the region's economy, and the community around the tourist attractions can be actively involved in there. Mempawah Regency is one of the regencies in West Kalimantan, one of its natural attractions is "Mempawah Mangrove Park", a mangrove (Mangrove forest) tourist spot. The purpose of this research is to find a marketing strategy through the marketing mix of tourism products, promotions, and prices that can affect the increasing visiting of tourists who visit the natural tourism of Mangrove Park in the Pasir village of Mempawah Regency. The research method used surveys using questionnaires as the method of data retrieval. Samples selected with a non-probability sampling method of purposive sampling. The analytical tools used in this study were descriptive verification. Collecting the results of a questionnaire that was further emulated and scripted based on analysis and study of existing theories. The results of this research showed that the product in the mangrove tourism does not affect the tourists, and the promotion is not done because there is no special promotion from the related service or from the exhibition of tourism that presents information about the nature tourism of Mangrove Park, but for the price, they agree if the entrance price of the tour is to be said as per the facilities provided in the nature tourism.

Abstract

Law Number 28 of 2009 concerning Regional Taxes and Regional Levies, is the basis for implementing tax collection. The authority to impose local taxes and levies collected from the public is used to pay for services provided to the community. The potential for collecting local taxes and levies as one of the components of regional original revenue (PAD) revenue. PAD is regional revenue originating from resources within the region itself, used to finance development. Therefore, the role of local taxes and levies as one of the elements of regional original income must be optimized in their collection according to the prevailing laws and regulations.The Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency Office of Palangka Raya City is one of the agencies that manage local taxes. Basically, the tendency of the regions to create various levies that are not in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations and that are against the public interest can be overcome by the government by supervising each regional regulation that regulates such taxes and levies. Based on the foregoing, this study aims to describe the quality of tax services at the Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency Office of Palangka Raya City and to describe the tax service process in increasing the realization of the target achievement of Regional Taxes and Levies at the Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency Office of Palangka Raya City.The research method used in this research is an exploratory research method with an inductive approach. The author goes to the field to look for facts where the object to be studied is located. Researchers describe the problems that occur in the field in general, accompanied by facts and data so that the description of the existing problems becomes valid and deserves a solution. Data collection methods with in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation study. Research informants are all office employees regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency for Palangka Raya City and some tax and retribution payers in Palangkaraya City. Data analysis was performed by data reduction, data presentation, and concluding.The results of research by the Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency (BPPRD) of Palangka Raya city were formed in 2016 based on Regional Regulation (Perda) No. 11 of 2016, the Palangka Raya City BPRD Office according to the provisions manages 9 types of local taxes consisting of Hotel Tax, Restaurant Tax, Entertainment Tax, Parking Tax, Groundwater Tax, Swallow's Nest Tax, Non-Metal Mineral, and Rock Tax, Taxes Rural and Urban Land and Buildings, Fees for Land and Buildings. In providing services to taxpayers, the Office of the Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency for the City of Palangka Raya implements tangible service standards, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy. Achievement of targets and realization averaged over 80% of the provisions for Regional Taxes and Charges.

Abstract

In general, this study aims to determine the effect of eWOM through social media Instagram on the purchase intention of products online in Batam City. This study uses a quantitative approach. The sample in this study amounted to 113 respondents who were users of social media Instagram. This research instrument using a questionnaire and analyzed using techniques Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of the SmartPLS 2.0 program. The results of this study indicate that trust, informational influence, moral obligation have significant involvement in eWOM, but the altruism variable does not have a significant effect on eWOM through social media Instagram and eWOM through social media Instagram has a strong influence on purchase intention of products online in Batam City. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the exchange of information through eWOM can lead to consumer buying interest.

Abstract

For the student creativity program in this entrepreneurship class, we run a business program for making our own bags from flannel. The flannel cloth itself is easy to find in the nearest shops and the price is also quite affordable. Besides being easy to get, flannel is also easy to make several forms of crafts, one of which is a bag. The bag that we are going to make is a sling bag model, where this model is loved by children today or it can be called a trend. Here what we need in addition to tools and materials is that we need skills and creative power. So that the bag that we will make can attract consumers to buy. In the community, there are many bags that make consumers want to buy them, but the prices are less affordable for consumers. Therefore, we take advantage of this situation to make bags of our own creations in order to help consumers to support their appearance with the bags that we make, of course, these bags are cheap in the pockets of students and teenagers.
