Abstract

This study aims to describe the structure, function, and meaning of self-compassion mantra in Nyirih river Village, Selakau District. The research method used a descriptive method with a qualitative form, using a structural approach. Data collection tools using observation sheets, interviews. The technique of analyzing data in this research is transcription, data classification, analysis, and inference. Based on the results of data analysis carried out on 15 self-compassion mantras, the following results were obtained. In the 15 spells studied, there are spell structures, namely the elements of title, opening, intention, suggestion, purpose, and closing, with the function of the mantra, 1 quote serves as a conqueror of evil, 13 quotes serve as filler of supernatural powers, 15 quotes serve as a medium of communication with God, 7 quotes serve as a charm for romance, and 2 quotes serve as shackles for the human spirit and the jinn. While the meaning of the mantra contained in the 15 mantras has a connotative meaning. This research was implemented in the seventh grade junior high school odd semester, with KD 3.14 and 4.14 material of folk poetry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk:1) untuk mengetahui keterampilan menulis cerpen siswa sebelum menggunakan media musik 2) untuk mengetahui  keterampilan menulis cerpen siswa setelah menggunakan media musik 3) untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh keterampilan menulis cerpen siswa dengan menggunakan media musik. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Bengkayang. Sampel Penelitian ini adalah kelas XA dengan  jumlah 37 orang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang meliputi pretest, treatment, dan posttest. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan bentuk one group pretest dan posttestdesign. Adapun data yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah melalui tes. Sebelum instrumen digunakan terlebih dahulu diuji validitasnya dengan ahli. Untuk instrumen tes sudah memenuhi kriteria validitas isi, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran dan daya pembeda soal. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ada dua yaitu dengan menggunakan rumus rata-rata ( Mean) dan yang kedua menggunakan rumus regresi linier. Berdasarkan analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa rata-rata hasil pretest dan posttest siswa kelas X A SMA Negeri 3 Bengkayang menggunakan media musik mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai pretest 44,05 dan nilai posttest 75,67 dengan kategori baik. Jadi pengaruh media musik terhadap keterampilan menulis cerpen pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 3 bengkayang sebesar 3,35 dengan kategori tinggi, hal ini dibuktikan dengan metode effect size.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa mencapai KKM (70)  baik secara individual maupun klasikal terhadap kemampuan menyimpulkan isi berita, dan mengetahui hasil belajar siswa sesudah diterapkanya model pembelajaran kooperatif pair checks terhadap kemampuan menyimpulkan isi berita pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 10 Singkawang lebih baik dibandingkan hasil belajar siswa sebelum diterapkanya model pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Pre-Experimental Designs. Dengan menggunakan bentuk “one group pretest-posttest design”. Menurut metodeny merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 10 Singkawang. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan sampel purposive sampling sebanyak 1 kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) kemampuan menyimpulkan isi berita mencapai ketuntasan individu dan klasikal yaitu Karena thitung  ttabel  atau 6,24 > 1,70 bahwa rata-rata mencapai KKM  70, selanjutnya untuk ketuntasan klasikal yaitu Zhitung  Ztabel  atau 2,25  1,64 disimpulkan bahwa ketuntasan klasikal siswa mencapai 75%. 2) hasil belajar siswa sesudah diterapkanya model pembelajaran kooperatif pair checks terhadap kemampuan menyimpulkan isi berita pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 10 Singkawang lebih baik dibandingkan hasil belajar siswa sebelum diterapkanya model pembelajaran yaitu t hitung > dari t tabel yakni – 10,92 > 1,706 disimpulkan bahwa Hasil belajar siswa sesudah diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif pair checks terhadap kemampuan menyimpulkan isi berita lebih baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari oleh rendahnya nilai ketuntasan siswa dalam pembelajaran menyimak. Hal tersebut dikarenakan siswa kurang berkonsentrasi dalam pembelajaran menyimak serta kurangnya minat belajar siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran sehingga siswa kesulitan untuk mencapai tujuan menyimak. Selanjutnya materi ini difokuskan pada materi menyimak puisi melalui model pembelajaran Visualization Auditory Kinestetic. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan bentuk kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklus dilaksanakan dalam 1 kali pertemuan. Perencanaan pembelajaran siklus I meliputi merumuskan tujuan pembelajaran, menentukan model pembelajaran, memilih materi, menyusun rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan pedoman penilaian. Pada siklus II, perencanaan yang dilakukan sebagian besar sama dengan siklus I. Hasil perencanaan siklus I sebesar 73,21% dan siklus II sebesar 98,21%. Hasil pelaksanaan siklus I sebesar 76,47% dan siklus II sebesar 94,11%. Nilai pengamatan sikap spritual siswa siklus I sebesar 75,46% dan siklus II 90,04%. Nilai sikap sosial siswa siklus I sebesar 70,23% dan siklus II sebesar 89,38%. Berdasarkan nilai hasil siswa dalam menganalisis antologi puisi diperoleh persentase ketuntasan siswa pada siklus I sebesar 72,22% dan siklus II meningkat menjadi 88,89%. Berdasarkan penelitian ini disarankan agar guru dapat menggunakan model pembelajaran Visualization Auditory Kinestetic untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menganalisis antologi puisi.

Abstract

Sexual harassment is still a taboo subject. This causes many victims of sexual harassment who do not dare to report to others or to the authorities. The number of cases of sexual harassment that occurred, both in the neighborhood and at school, it is important to give a good understanding of sexual harassment and how to avoid it. In response to this, the community service team needs to provide counseling about violence that occurs to children, how to communicate well with children, how to learn language in children, and the importance of conveying reproductive health to children properly. So that this socialization activity has a major role to prevent and provide knowledge and understanding of toilet training, personal areas, and sexual violence so as to prevent sexual harassment. The method used is socialization and documentation, this socialization activity was carried out on Friday, 18 January 2019 and took place in the village of Jagoi Babang. A facilitator must be very careful in the process of socialization, given the very heterogeneous conditions of the community, both the level of education, character, acceptance and understanding of the community. Socialization that is carried out to prevent sexual abuse especially in the area of private organs (sensitive areas) of the body is an important thing that should have been introduced to children from an early age. This is the duty of parents to be able to convey this information in good language and easily understood by children, because of the rampant incidence of sexual abuse, especially in children, whether boys or girls.

Abstract

 One of the forms of business that may be done by a housewife is entrepreneurship, namely making APAYA (Abon Papaya). Processed food products made from papaya are chosen as an entrepreneurial business because they have good prospects. In addition to the young leaves as medicine, the fruit can be used as sweets, there are other food preparations made from papaya. Given the benefits and good nutritional content, papaya fruit verification is needed so that the product can be more acceptable to the community. The purpose of this activity is to inspire people about an idea and an entrepreneurial spirit with raw materials that are easily available and available around them so that they can increase household income. Through this service activity, assistance in making APAYA (Abon Papaya) into an economic commodity product in the form of shredded shredded can provide an alternative to new economic businesses in the community. The positive impact of this activity is to increase skills and knowledge related to the production of processed papaya fruit.

Abstract

GeLiS is an effort in the form of participatory activities involving school residents so that students get used to reading. The literacy skills of students in Kumba Village are sufficient. Based on the preliminary study, the library that should be used as a place to read books is only used as a place to store books. So with this GeLiS, it is hoped that students' reading literacy skills will increase. This activity aims to provide teachers with an understanding of GeLiS and provide examples of the implementation that teachers must do to support the literacy movement in elementary schools. The method used is the lecture method and questions and answers about the literacy movement in schools. The results of this activity indicate that the teacher's understanding of the literacy movement in elementary schools is good, and adapted to the abilities of students, while the implementation that teachers do in grade IV is still monitoring to improve reading and writing skills and to increase self-confidence through listening to the national compulsory anthem. , take turns reading picture story books provided in the reading corner and library.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a variety of cultures, ethnicities, and races. This diversity is characteristic of the Indonesian state and the assets of the Indonesian people, in accordance with the motto of Unity in Diversity. Therefore, it is important for every citizen to have a sense of patriotism as a form of pride in the country of birth and shelter. The love of the motherland is not only implemented in the world of education, but also must be in the community, one of which is by conducting socialization to the community about the importance of the love of the motherland and then proceed with the screening of the Indonesian film titled "Merah Putih Memanggil (Red and White Calling)". This activity was carried out on Thursday, January 17, 2019, located in Jagoi Village, Jagoi Babang District. Participants in this activity were children and residents of Jagoi village and several members of the TNI from the Task Force Yonif 511 / DY. Through these activities, the aim is to further instill a sense of patriotism for participants who basically reside in the border area, namely the village of Jagoi, Jagoi Babang.

Abstract

Free Tutoring Program conducted by lecturers collaborate with students STKIP Singkawang seeing their children's needs will be additional learning after school. Tutoring helps students in doing homework on a given subject in school and help the students' understanding of the lessons they do not understand at school. In addition to assisting students in understanding cognitive activities, tutors also inculcate moral values are good to the students as a way to talk, behave towards older people and others. Tutoring also helps faculty to see the education of elementary school children in pajintan and tutors teach students to develop their abilities in front of the children as their stock later after becoming a teacher. Tutoring activity is carried out twice a week is Saturday and Sunday at 15: 00-16: 030. Kids will get together and tutor will ask them what they learned today. Then divide each tutor will be in accordance with the appropriate number of students and subjects what they want to learn. The number of students in the activities is 26 students tutoring kids who follow learning have willingness to learn. Results are expected after tutoring activities are the students who are expected to gain new knowledge or mastery of a better school after attending tutoring

Abstract

For the student creativity program in this entrepreneurship class, we run a business program for hanging ornaments made of rope. We give this business the name of Making a Bohemian Ceiling Decoration (Fringe Bohemian). This Bohemian Ceiling Decoration is a craft made from rope. The rope used can be various as desired, such as rope, wool rope, plastic rope, etc. But we are here using the basic material of wool rope. This handicraft business aims to increase creativity and be innovative in entrepreneurship, especially for young entrepreneurs. The hanging decoration business from this rope is easy in the manufacturing process but it takes time and requires patience in making it and the materials needed to make this decoration easy to get. The form of our business is still in an individual stage only. We do not yet have official permission from the government, because this business is still new and is still trying to enter the business world. In the future, if this business can get extraordinary profits and have enough customers, then we will increase this business to be even bigger. Many factors need to be considered in order to advance this Bohemian Ceiling Decoration business. Important factors that must be considered in order to advance this business include choosing the right location, a good marketing strategy and determining affordable prices in the community. If all the factors above can be planned properly, it will be able to make this business grow well. For this reason, it is necessary to make a business plan as a reference in accelerating the business of making Bohemian Ceiling Decorations (Bohemian Fringe).
