Abstract

ABSTRACT: White oyster mushroom cultivated by the community so that the demand for oyster mushroom growing. White oyster mushroom production in Indonesia is still lacking, it is caused by lack of optimal cultivation of oyster mushroom so it can not meet the public demand for oyster mushroom. This study aims to determine "the influence of the quantity of lime to the oyster mushroom mycelium growing pace as the undertakings posters". The research is a qualitative research experiment arranged in a completely randomized design (CRD), with control PI (lime0%), PII (lime 2%), PIII (lime 4%),respectively treatment repeated 10 times to obtain 30 baglog trial. The test results showed that treatment of three (PIII) with the provision of limestone (CaCO3) 4% provide optimal results and significant form of speed of growth of mycelium average (PI) 6.3, (PII) 7.2 and (PIII) 7.6 total average is 7.0 , From the results of this research are made in the form of posters. Poster validation results in the field of education. 84.70% with a decent category and language fields gori 87.05% with a decent word. Thus poster made of the results of this research deserves to be used for the community.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Elementary school (ES) or Madrasah Ibtida'iyah (MI) is an essential part in the Indonesian education system, especially when viewed from a global perspective, the basic education aims to prepare the young generation to be able to adapt to the demands of the era. To support this, then Indonesia must be flexible to adapt, both in the content of the curriculum, as well as learning paradigm. A change of paradigm (paradigm shift) the emphasis on active engagement in the learning process (active consumer). That learning is none other than to help students acquire knowledge or understanding based on the integration of knowledge/understanding itself with science process skills (SPS). Science process skills (SPS) is identical to the behavior of scientists (scientists), so the SPS is recognized by the world as a way to acquire and knowledge development.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The available teaching materials, especially on the homology materials are still limited to the knowledge, not yet emphasized on the process, so some students become passive, and this certainly influences the learning outcomes. Homology deals with organs that have different structures, but they have the same function. This is very much happening around us, for it is very necessary to be discussed and demonstrated so as to maximize student activity. One of the solutions offered is the development of STAD-based teaching materials combined with guided inquiry. Through STAD students can discuss various matters related to homology in the surrounding environment, while through guided inquiry students can demonstrate homology, and certainly better understand the process from formulating the problem, formulating goals, formulating hypotheses, determining data collection, taking data, analyzing up to conclusion. This will certainly improve the mentality and self-confidence of the students. The purpose of this study is to develop STAD-based teaching materials combined inquiry on guided homology material. The type of this research is Research Development using model design of Dick & Carey and Paulina & Purwanto in Paizah (2011). The instrument used in the form of a questionnaire is then analyzed descriptively. The developed teaching materials contain; pre-introduction, introduction, summary, evaluation, and closing. Expert content validation results about 80% content presentation and 85% content presentation with good category, while material expert validation about material feasibility is 90% and material presentation is 87% with very good category. Individual test result of 88,17% with very good category. For that it is concluded that; The development of teaching materials with STAD method combined with guided inquiry on homology material is suitable for use.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Microalgae is the most primitive cell-sized plant form known as the phytoplankton, where this phytoplankton is one of marine biota which has a vital role for a waters because as primary producer for water. Where in this study will be taken 3 stations, station 1 is close to the resident's house, the station 2 transport lines and station 3 is in the middle of the waters of Cemara Beach. The purpose of this study were (1) To know the species of microalgae species located on the beach Cemara. (2) To know the diversity, uniformity and dominance of microalgae at Cemara beach as the basis for the preparation of Cryptogamae Systematic practice manual. (3) To find out the results of research can be used as the basis for the preparation of Cryptogamae Systematic practice manual. The type of research used in this study is descriptive. The data obtained in this study is qualitative data analyzed descriptively. Calculated index of species diversity, uniformity, and dominance, using Shannon Wiener's formula. The results showed that (1) Indices of diversity of microalgae in Cemara Coast waters at each station, station I (2.19), station II (2.44), and station III (1.71) which means that the three stations have community moderate biota or moderately polluted water quality. (2) Uniformity index of microalgae at each station, station I (0,62), station II (0,69), station III (0,48) which means in all three stations have uniformity of organism in balance condition. (3) The dominant index of microalgae at each station is obtained an index of average dominance of 1, there are species that dominate other species or unstable community structure. The conclusion of this research is the diversity of microalgae in the waters of Pantai Cemara Desa Lembar Selatan Lembar subdistrict, West Lombok regency has index of medium contaminated diversity, uniformity index and unstable dominance index.

Abstract

Abstract: Keampferia galangal linn or known as kencur is a herb that is widely used by the community with various benefits such as influenza in infants, headaches, sprains, relieve fatigue, gastric inflammation, cough, expedite menstruation inflammation of the ears of children, dirty blood, sore eyes, diarrhea, colds. Therefore it is necessary to conduct scientific research to see the antibacterial ability of kencur extract (Keampferia galangal Linn) against Salmonella typhi growth. This study aims to determine the antibacterial ability of kencur extract compound on S. typhi growth. The type of this research is descriptive experiment, methanol kencur extract. This research uses consensus of different extract of methanol kencur that is 25%, 50% and 75% which will be tested on S. typhi to see the obstacle zone. Given cipro as a positive control and aquades as control negativenya. On the 3rd day all sampell observed the clear zone and written in the primary data. The obtained data is described to explain the ability of the extract zone of methanol kencur. It was found that the extract of methanol, cipro and aquades showed the bioactive compounds contained in kencur gave a low effectiveness against inhibition of S. thypi bacteria growth.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to (1) develop the basic Biology LKM-oriented inquiry learning; (2) describe the implementation of Basic Biology learning by using an inquiry-oriented LKM; (3) to describe students' science process skills in Basic Biology learning by using LKM-oriented inquiry learning, and (4) to describe the student's response in Basic Biology learning activity using LKM-oriented learning inquiry. This research is a kind of developmental research, using 4-D model and implementation design using one group pretest-postest. Data to be collected include data of science process skill and student response, with data analysis technique is descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The developed Basic Biology LKMs have validity with reasonable and reliable categories, so they can be used in learning. The results of the implementation of learning tools, including: the implementation of RPS categorized very well, students' science process skills are generally well categorized and experienced an increase with N-gain reaching 0.55 medium category, as well as good student response. Overall it can be concluded that the basic Biology LKM oriented inquiry learning can improve students' science process skills.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this research are: 1) To know the influence of problem solving model based on contextual problem solving ability class VII SMPN 04 Kopang, 2) To know the influence of contextual model based on contextual learning of cognitive learning grade VII SMPN 04 Kopang. Research this study is Quasi experimental, with the design used is pre-test posttest nonequivalent control group design. Sampling technique used saturated sampling, so the class VIIA with the number of students 27 people as experimental class and class VIIB with the number of students 27 people as a control class. The research instrument consisted of data of problem solving test result in the form of test essay and cognitive learning result of the student in the form of multiple choice test. The data analysis technique of this research use the teded-t polledvarian for student problem solving and t separatedvarian-t test for students' cognitive learning outcomes. The result of research are: 1) Obtained average score of problem solving ability of experiment class problem is 49 is in good category and control class is 34 is in less good category while result of t test is t-count> t-table (24,28> 2,000), then Ha accepted Ho is rejected, (2) Data cognitive learning results obtained t-count> t-table (3.248> 2.056), then Ha received Ho is rejected, thus can be concluded that: 1) There is influence using problem solving model based on the contextual ability of problem solving students, 2) There is influence of using problem-solving model based on contextual to student cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: In general, this study aims to determine the effect of concentration of NAA and Kinetin the number of shoots and roots in chrysanthemum plants in vitro. The explants were used chrysanthemum sterile. The background of this research is the growing demand for chrysanthemums from year to year as an ornamental and medicinal materials. The research is a scheme would experiment with completely randomized (CRD) with three replications. The medium used was MS medium with added plant growth regulators NAA at a concentration of (0-3) mg / L and the concentration of Kinetin (0-3) mg / L. The parameters in this study is the number of shoots and roots. Data were analyzed using ANOVA two-lane data obtained when normal and homogeneous, when the F test results were significantly different (significantly) conducted a further test by test Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) at the 5% significance level. Using the Kruskal-Wallis test if the data obtained is not normal and is not homogeneous, when the F test results were significantly different (significantly) conducted a further test with Mann-Whitney test at a significance level of 5% and using descriptive if the data obtained are not eligible to be tested parametric and non-parametric. Outcomes of this study are: (1) article published in the journal ISSN.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Module is a tool that is intended for self-study. In this era of technological advances, modules or learning aids are needed in the learning process. These technological advances provide great opportunities for lecturers to be able to present the learning media in mobile version format such as electronic module. This study aims to: (1) produce electronic module products based on smartphone platform android on high taxonomic taxonomy; (2) find out the feasibility of electronic module based on smartphone platform android as a learning material in high taxonomic taxonomy; (3) to know the effectiveness of electronic module availability of smartphones based on android platform as a learning material in high plant taxonomy course. The research design used refers to the modified development research design of the 4D development model of Thiagarajan. The procedures include 4 stages: (1) defining (define), (2) design, (3) development, (4) disseminate the testing phase and product revision. Expert Validation results on electronic modules android platform developed analyzed descriptively quantitative-qualitative with the overall result of 3.5 with good category. Peritem validation results: (1) Validity of electronic module with android plates on the material aspect of 3.4 with good category; (2) Validity of electronic module with android plates on the presentation aspect of 3.6 with good category; and (3) The validity of electronic module with android plates on the language aspect of 3.6 with good category. The student response result shows that, electronic platform android platform is a new teaching material for students and can help or facilitate the students to understand the taught material, and train student self-reliance. The effectiveness of the module is seen from the level of understanding of student concepts that can be stated that the average understanding of student concepts is at the relational level, with the percentage of 45.67%, and the average score change in student concept understanding before and after learning of 0.57 (categorized medium). Based on these data can be seen that the electronic module android platform that has been applied can be declared effective or have an impact or influence on understanding the concept of students. The conclusions of this study are electronic modules android platforms declared eligible for use in the course of Taxonomy of High Level Plants.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study aims to increase biology students' motivation to learn the grade XII IPA 1SMA Negeri 1 Lape academic year 2014/2015 with the utilization of modeng bage (acid seed) as a learning medium on monohibrid material. While the benefits to be obtained as follows: (1) For educators; in learning and learning can take advantage of the environment, the components around the school, home, the environment where the most important is still relevant to the material or in accordance with basic competencies, (2) for students; so that the students can take advantage of the space (space), time and any media and able to adjust to the methods, approaches in teaching and learning activities, (3) for institutions (schools), schools obtain information and simultaneously provide stimulus so that students can later be useful for nation, state, religion, family and society. Learning media referred to in this article is in the form of modeng bage (acid seed) as a medium on learning, while the learning motivation is the interest of student learning. The research type was PTK, the result of data analysis showed that modeng bage as contextual learning medium on monohybrid material in obtaining students' responses above the success standard (55% First Stage) and (70% Second Stage). Table 5 shows that 53.15%> 37.50% of this data explains that teaching using a particular medium has an effect on student motivation, although it is still below the minimum standard set at 55%, (53.15% <55%). After we analyzed the data in Table 6, the students' responses were found that using modeng bage as a learning medium had a significant effect that was 84.38%> 75% or above the success rate of 84.38%> 70%. Likewise with the various interviews we did that students, teachers gave positive responses and there were also negative responses. But in general give a positive response to the media we use. So it can be said that there is a significant influence on the utilization of modeng bage as a medium of learning on the motivation of students studying XIIA class 1 odd semester.
