Jurnal Jaringan Telekomunikasi (Jurnal Jartel) merupakan jurnal repositori terbitan Program Studi Jaringan Telekomunikasi Digital, Politeknik Negeri Malang. Abstract

Now a days, the condition of the river has been contaminated by householdwaste especially in the urban areas, the waste comes from people who are not responsible for the trash,so it potentially causes floods. Therefore, this research aims to design a system to monitor water level height and water speed as well as river condition recorder based on android. The use of ultrasonic sensor as an indicator to find out high levels of surface water, the optocoupler sensor as an indicator to know the speed of the water flow and IP cameras as a tool of monitoring the condition of the river are actual and direct. Research on the design of the ultrasonic sensor and optocoupler sensor resulted in average percentage error of measurement of 0.54% and 9.35%. IP camera that was designed as a visualization tool monitoring the condition of the river was able to produce on average the smallest delay 0ms. The notification system was implemented on the device users generating the biggest delay on average 22,9s and an average delay of the smallest 9,6s. QoS analysis on android gained the biggest delay of 1.64ms, the largest throughput of 81.01 Kb/s and packet loss of 0%. While QoS analysis on the website obtained the biggest delay of 58ms, the largest throughput of 19.3 KB/s and packet loss of 0%.

Abstract

Wireless is a wireless network technology that can be used for voice and data communications. The need for a wireless network system makes the need for technology grow very rapidly starting from communication and data transmission media, one of the technological developments in data transmission media. One of them is in the field of music. Most of the musical instruments such as microphones, bass guitars, acoustic guitars, and electric guitars already use wireless. This can facilitate the movement of these musical players while playing their musical instruments on stage. Therefore, a wireless device for guitar effects is designed that is directly connected to a guitar instrument. This system itself aims to facilitate the movement of guitar players on stage and can also activate guitar effects without the need to step on the guitar pedals at their feet.

Abstract

Fiber optic is chosen to be the backbone channel for telecommunication purposes, in this case the connection between nodes b. Therefore, to determine the performance of a fiber optic network, a fiber optic communication network performance application is required. The performance discussed in this study is total attenuation, Optical Signal to Noise Ratio (OSNR) and Bit Error Rate (BER). The method used to obtain the attenuation value along the length of the cable and the total attenuation is by measuring the fiber optic network with an Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR). After taking measurements, the data is processed to produce output in the form of network performance, namely the total attenuation value, OSNR and BER. The results of the accuracy of the two comparisons are indicated by the percentage error rate. Based on the overall data tested, a value of 5.53% was obtained for comparison between the theoretical results and the value of the measurement results and obtained a value of 5.10% for the comparison between the measurement value and the application calculation value. Then the relationship between total attenuation with OSNR and the relationship between OSNR and BER is an inverse relationship.

Abstract

In channel transfer (handover) from one Base Station to another Base Station. The purpose of this final project is to analyze the effect of neighboring cells on handover decisions on WCDMA networks based on fuzzy, in this handover process, handover decisions use several parameters related to handovers and supported by fuzzy logic. Relatively high user mobility demands a guarantee until the use of the service ends, the impact of user mobility results in the output being analyzed for this handover decision to help give consideration to the optimal handover decision. The method used is Tsukamoto fuzzy logic, for decision making, while the measurement method In the field, the drive test method is carried out by measuring the signal level around the base station area, and comparing the results of the two methods. Comparison of handover decisions between the results of fuzzy logic and measurements, for example for the results of no proper in fuzzy logic, yields a rate value of 0% for soft handovers and 100% for hard handovers, and for proper results in fuzzy logic, yields a rate value for measurement. 95.22% for soft / soft handover and 4.72% for hard handover

Abstract

Storage of wheat flour requires good temperature and humidity to avoid mold growth that can damage the nutrients in wheat flour. The temperatures and humidity required for proper storage are above temperatures and humidity below 60% RH. The method used in flour storage is FIFO (First In First Out) using a Load cell sensor as a marker for flour input. The incoming flour will input the time, location and amount of flour, so that it can be easily determined which flour will come out first. To facilitate monitoring of temperature, humidity and stock amount in flour storage in this study, sending monitoring data wirelessly using an internet network that can be accessed anywhere. The test results of this study show that the DHT22 sensor can measure temperature and humidity well, which has a RE (Relative Error) value of 0.5% temperature and 3.9% humidity compared to the HTC-1 measuring instrument. The load cell test compared to digital scales has an accurate value using a linear formula. In the QoS test, sending sensor data to the web server has a good value according to the ITU-T standard, namely delay <150ms

Abstract

Optical fiber is a transmission medium for sending information that uses light as a source of information. Optical fiber can be used as a transmission medium to transmit information in the form of data, video and voice. Of the various kinds of light sources used, the most bpouler used is laser. Even though there are still many light sources used, namely leds. In this research, the design of a sound transmission transmission system is designed, but by using a led light source with different colors. With different colors means the wavelength of the led is also different. This affects the amount of information conveyed at the receiving end. The results showed unsatisfactory results, due to the limited standard of existing components and the angle of light reception that did not meet the standards from the optical fiber reception angle. However, there are several results from the study, namely the value of reinforcement from the sender's side has a difference of 2.4. In the measurement of the SNR value, the SNR value of the LED is greater than the SNR value of the laser when without using a cable of 0.1387 and when using a measuring cable of 3.5924 x 10-5. Then also generated a reinforcement response to changes in the frequency value. The greater the frequency value, the lower the gain.

Abstract

In the cultivation of milkfish, water quality is very concerned about in order to minimize fish mortality when cultivated. Several important factors in the cultivation of milkfish are the level of salt content in the water, temperature and pH. Currently, farmers monitor water quality manually by coming directly to see water quality. If there are dead fish, the cultivator will replace the new water. This will have an impact on fish production which will decrease. The milkfish pond uses brackish water for pond waters. The salt content is between the sea water content and the fresh water content. The grade level may change from season to season. This change is due to biological processes that occur in these waters as well as the interaction between pond waters and the surrounding environment. The results showed that the results of the design of the salt concentration monitoring system in the milkfish ponds that have been carried out using Arduino Uno, conductivity sensors, pH sensors, temperature sensors, wifi modules, Mi-Fi and Smartphones to access android applications. The results of testing the microcontroller functionality that have been made are in accordance with the design and are running well. The system designed to transmit information in the form of salinity values, pH sensors, temperature sensors and TDS values ??with sensor accuracy that is linear with measurement results using conventional measuring instruments with the highest error values ??of 1.3%, 2.06%, 0.702% and 1.5 respectively. %.

Abstract

Jamu chili or Javanese chili (Piper retrofractum Vahl.) Is a medicinal plant that has been used since ancient times as an ingredient in cooking, drinks and traditional medicine, such as to treat low blood pressure, colds, impotence as well as to clean the uterus after childbirth. . Besides herbal chilies as medicinal plants, the price of herbal chilies is expensive and their production is utilized domestically and exported to, among others, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and India. Herbal chilli plantations are spread across all districts, especially in Madura Island, namely in Sumenep District 1,709 ha, Sampang 1,017 ha, Pamekasan 715 ha and Bangkalan 356 ha. In Lamongan Regency, there is an area of ??276 ha. The area of ??herbal chilies in Lampung Province is 630 ha. However, despite the many benefits and have been exported abroad, the herbal chili plants have not been well controlled by the farmers, which causes the herbal chili plants to die before they bear fruit. In this research, a web-based monitoring system design will be made based on the level of soil acidity and soil moisture. The sensor for soil acidity uses a pH meter and for soil moisture uses a soil moisture sensor. Data will be stored in the database and displayed on the web. Soil acidity and soil moisture data will be sent via the internet to the database.

Abstract

Loyal customers at a restaurant definitely want a reward for their loyalty to the restaurant, Moshi-Moshi Ramen created the Loyal Customers program as an appreciation for loyal customers. The program is made using a paper card with 10 empty boxes which is stamped by the cashier when the customer pays for food. The current era of globalization allows all areas of life to be assisted by the presence of technology. One of the technologies developed in the culinary field is the design of a digital loyal customer card system based on Radio Frequency Identifier (RFID) which has been linked to the Firebase web database as a medium for storing data. It was found that there were deficiencies in the loyalty program, namely the card that was not safe to hold, especially if the card was lost, the customer could not claim the number of stamps So, to solve this problem, RFID and pin numbers are used as a safer system of loyal customer cards and the database for storing registered customer data to transform the existing loyalty customer program into a smarter system. Making a digital loyal customer card system using an RFID tag can be done using the Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller which has a reading sensitivity of up to a distance of 4.5 cm and an android application for ordering food. As well as all functions that can run well, including comparison of transaction times using manual and digital systems with a time difference of 10 seconds.

Abstract

In an effort to control the quality of corn, among others, it is determined based on the moisture content in the corn seeds so that the corn produced has a seed quality standard. The purpose of this thesis is to determine the water level of the seeds. Corn was tested by a tool made with standardization of the moisture content of corn seeds from the Agricultural Center using the PM-650 Grain Moisture Tester. The parameters tested were the moisture content of the corn seeds, the temperature of the storage containers, and the weight of the corn seeds. Based on the research that has been done, it can be seen that a capacitive sensor with a working principle such as a parallel plate capacitor as a tool for measuring the moisture content of corn seeds has a reading accuracy ratio with the PM-650 Grain Moisture Tester measuring instrument is 94.9%. The temperature in the storage container was around 23 <temperature <27 to maintain the quality of the corn seeds. Data from the test results are sent via the ESP8266 module and displayed on the web. Based on the results of the planning and implementation that has been done, the capacitive sensor can work well as a measuring tool for the moisture content of corn seeds. Meanwhile, the difference in results in planning and measurement is caused by the losses that exist in the components used.
