Abstract

Building VoIP technology requires a server called Elastix. Singleboard circuit device can be an alternative to cover the shortcomings of a PC as a VoIP server, to support practicum activities. The specifications for the quad-core processor and 1GB LPDDR2 memory are expected to be able to provide access to the latest version of the operating system to be able to produce better communication quality as I PPBX. This study designed a VoIP IP PBX server communication system at the Polinema Telecommunication Laboratory using the Elastix Linux operating system, to determine the quality of VoIP communication services and the performance of a single board circuit as an IPPBX server. The results of the research are 64 kbps bandwidth capacity capable of serving a customer capacity of 181 subscribers through 8 number of channels. QoS measurement obtained a delay value of 4.87091 ms; jitter of 18,265ms; packet loss of 0.71%; throughput of 0.2747 Mbit / sec. The singleboard circuit server is capable of serving VoIP communications for as many as 20 users and 10 calls simultaneously on the same server with a cpu usage percentage of 17.7% and 17.2% cpu usage, when communicating with other servers.

Abstract

Diesel engines is generally used for industrial and agricultural machines. Few people care about the engine temperature so it is forced to reach temperature of 100oC, which causes overheating of the diesel engine and has an impact on the performance itself. This also uses a hopper cooling system which is certainly not effective, because it's necessary to see that the water in the reservoir is still or not, also not equipped with an engine temperature display so it's difficult to ascertain the temperature inside. This study aims to monitor and control the temperature of cooling water. Operation of temperature control uses a telecontrol system that is connected to network (Internet of Things) so diesel temperature control can be done remotely. Monitoring of temperature and water level in the reserve tank using Web Mobile. In addition, there is a temperature sensor that is used to measure the temperature of the cooling water so that users can monitor the temperature of the diesel engine on Web Mobile. The test results obtained, the temperature sensor has an average temperature reading error of 0.031004%. Diesel engines with controlled solenoid valve cooling systems can produce ideal temperatures compared to when the solenoid valve is open (using the radiator continuously) or when the solenoid valve is Closed (without using a radiator). When the solenoid is controlled the engine temperature can be ideal because the solenoid valve opening and closing system has the lowest temperature of 56.34oC and the highest temperature of only 80.85oC.

Abstract

The wireless sensor network is a network consisting of sensor devices that detect nearby symptoms and then send information about the obtained results. Earthquakes are natural phenomena that can come at any time. So we need a tool that works automatically to give a warning as soon as possible when a WSN-based earthquake occurs to anticipate community rescue and reduce the number of casualties. This earthquake simulation alert will provide two notifications. Visual notifications displayed on the LCD and from the web. The sound notification issued by the buzzer will be different depending on the vibration received by the SW-420 sensor. Parameter earthquake used is MMI (modified mercalli intensity) using a visual assessment, international earthquake parameters. SIG (earthquake intensity scale) which already has a PGA (Peak Ground Acceleration) unit and includes MMI in it which is made by BMKG. After an excessive vibration is detected and it exceeds a predetermined limit, the MCU node will send an analog signal to the buzzer to provide a notification that has been set. For each appear notification, it aims to direct the public as soon as possible to assembly point that has been set in each building. Each detected vibration will be stored in WEB database. The vibration results detected by the sensor are a value of 0 (low) and 1 (high). These results will be sampled and produce an output in the form of Earthquake Intensity Scale.

Abstract

The application of OFDM technology is still not fully implemented in the Telecommunication Study Program at State Polytechnic of Malang. This is because the application of this technology is applied to hardware. However, this can be overcome by simulating the OFDM technology through software. From the application of the system into the program by entering the predetermined parameters, the BER value can be compared to the predetermined parameters. Bit error that appears in the application of the OFDM Multi user system for bit error in BPSK Modulation with AWGN and Rayleigh Fading channels appears bit error respectively with an average of 9 bits and 14 bits at 11 dB SNR. Whereas in the QPSK modulation with AWGN and Rayleigh Fading channels, each bit error appears with an average of 13 bits and 18 bits on the SNR of 14 dB. Furthermore, in the calculation of bandwidth efficiency in the frequency allocation of 20 MHz for BPSK modulation, three values ??of bandwidth efficiency are obtained, among others, 1 bps / Hz in theory for practical, namely the code rate ½ is 0.3 bps / Hz and the code rate ¾ is 0.45 bps / Hz. While the QPSK modulation also obtained three values ??of bandwidth efficiency, namely, 2 bps / Hz in theory for practical, namely the code rate ½ is 0.6 bps / Hz and the code rate ¾ is 0.9 bps / Hz.

Abstract

Employee attendance is one of the most important elements in office activities. Attendance is a data collection activity to determine the number of employee attendance. The employee attendance system at the ngajum sub-district office uses fingerprint technology (Fingerprint). This system is indeed very easy and efficient, but in the sub-district office there are several employees who have difficulty carrying out the fingerprint attendance process because the fingerprints are peeled off or have certain diseases make fingerprints smooth. So that the fingerprint attendance (Fingerprint) at the sub-district office is not used and returns to the manual system. The purpose of this research is to design an employee attendance information system to enter and leave by utilizing the National Identity Card or KTP. For checking IDKTP uses the NFC Reader PN532 which is connected to Arduino Uno as a microcontroller, Raspberry pi as a web server, webcam, LCD display, and buzzer as a sign of success in making attendance. Based on the test results it can be concluded, the NFC reader used can read ID KTP in position vertical and horizontal with a distance of less than 16 mm. When there is a mica barrier and a glass barrier the maximum reading distance is less than 14 mm while the plate and aluminum foil barrier cannot be read. The existence of a barrier makes the distance to read the KTP will be reduced.

Abstract

Nowadays the exchange of information is easier to obtain, also communication process is faster and not hindered by regional factors. This process is supported by telecommunications devices, such as telephones. The use of telephones in agency generally uses PBX system because it has advantages in cost, flexibility, and communication security. With the development of the era, the technology of PBX devices must be updated, but there is a solution besides updating the device, which is to add modules or devices while still using the existing PBX. This research discuss the analysis regarding the comparison of service quality of the Internet Telephony Gateway with the FXS module. The system uses the network as a medium for exchanging communication data, so all communication devices used must be connected to the local network. Communication between devices can occur when each communication device is registered on the PBX server. Testing the quality service is influenced by amount of jitter, packet loss, and throughput. From the test results, it can be concluded that the number of active users simultaneously affects the value of jitter, packet loss, and throughput. When 8 ports of the FXS module are used simultaneously, the average jitter value reaches 27,625 ms, the packet loss value is 156,875%, and the throughput is 66,625 kb/s. Meanwhile, the TA1600 was able to serve 16 users with an average jitter value of 57,875 ms, packet loss reaching 227.31%, and a throughput of 26.31 kb/s. These results were obtained through the Zoiper application statistical data.

Abstract

The server room is a room that contains the server computer installation or where the main equipment for the server computer is placed. Lack of supervision and monitoring from employee server room conditions is one of the factors causing damage to existing devices. Therefore a monitoring system was created to monitor the server room periodically using web to make it easier for employees to monitor the server room. The system will automatically send notification to telegram when the temperature or dust particles exceed the specified range. The purpose of this study was to test the hvac monitoring system in server room, test the temperature and dust readings on the server room hvac monitoring system, know and calculate the value of the suitability and accuracy of the server room hvac monitoring tool, and to test the QoS of web server on monitoring the server room hvac. The result is the system able to read the server room temperature in range 18°C - 27°C, can read the increase in dust particles when there's activity in the server room up to the range 0cf - 1500cf and when in normal conditions it reads up to the range 0cf-1000cf, For the sensor accuracy, the total error rate is 0.79%, and QoS when using a LAN connection get the largest delay 410.084ms, the biggest throughput is 601bits/s, and the highest packet loss is 0.16%, while when using wifi connection the biggest delay is 410.608ms., the largest throughput 647 bits/s, and the highest packet loss 0.12%.

Abstract

In a boarding house, there is a boarding house owner/manager who monitors and supervises. For tenants, you can make payments only when meeting with the boarding house owner/manager. In practice, boarding house owners are not always in the boarding house so there is a difficulty in monitoring the boarding payments for each room. The purpose of this final project is to make a tool to be able to monitor and manage boarding through the android smartphone media. In this system, boarding house owners can find out the payment status of each room and tenants can also find out the remaining rental time. This system is also installed with a doorlock solenoid which can be controlled by the boarding house owner via the Android application to open and close the boarding house door if the tenant has/has not made a payment. The process of sending data from the device installed in the room to the Android smartphone using an intermediary NodeMcu and sending data to Firebase so that the status can be monitored in realtime. In each room there is also a notification system in the form of an LED light. The LED light will give a warning about the remaining time of the boarding house rental. The conclusion in this final project, the application can perform monitoring realtime and tenants can control the solenoid with an average delay of 1m 68s. For sending data from hardware to the database, it has a delay of 0.2139673s which is quite good.

Abstract

There is a lot of ticket brokering. The ticket leakage rate can be minimized to a minimum with the help of an automatic gate that will open when the audience balance is sufficient, this is shown on the website. QoS measurement using Wireshark software from the process of sending data from raspberry pi to the web server. The results showed that the maximum reading distance of the NFC reader was 2.5 cm in the position of the test tag above the reader. Based on the QoS test results, the average data packet sending with very good speed in the ITU-T category is <150 ms. In testing the distance of 26 meters, 5 meters and 3 meters between the stadium internet (wifi) source to the node at the gate because from the 3rd measurement the distance gets <150 ms according to the ITU-T standard. The results obtained are 130,588 ms, 123,493 ms and 116,818 ms. For device performance from the results of NFC testing, motor, LCD and web server can run continuously. The web server can only accommodate users of approximately 100 users at the same time with 3 clicks

Abstract

The purpose of making this system is to monitor the purchase of excavated sand C to reduce fraudulent payment of levies by mine owners and make it easier for DISPENDA to control mining vehicles. This system uses 2 pieces of RFID which are used to identify vehicle numbers that leave and enter the mine. At the entrance and exit of the mine there is a load cell that is used forweighing the weight of sand which is used as the basis for the levy value and the price of sand. From the results of the load cell test, it shows that the calibration results were carried out well. This is proven by the measurement accuracy of the load cell. Based on data from test resultsQOS where the average value of transmission delay is 113.5 ms, throughput is at 0.077 mbit / sec - 0.138 mbit / sec and packet loss is 0.0%. In accordance with the TIPHON standard, this situation belongs to a very good range.
