Abstract

People want a vehicle that is ready to use without having to wait for long or in the sense that the performance of an activity can run efficiently. With a remote control that can control the vehicle remotely, activities in setup mode will be more efficient. In general, remote control is used in motorized vehicles using Infra-red or Bluetooth communication with communication distance 60meters. So we need LoRa module that has longer beam range. The purpose of research is to design remote control and receiver that can control the vehicle such as opening vehicle door lock,  activating the AC, to the starter mode on the car contact with a wider range of sending and receiving information. The results of research indicate that LoRa module has received signal strength value (RSSI) of -65dBm when LOS (line of sight) at distance 10meters and RSSI of -66dBm at non-LOS (non-line of sight) at the same distance. SNR of 9.25dB when LOS and SNR of 6.0dB when non-LOS at distance 10meters. The research results of sending and receiving remote control data have a maximum distance when non-LOS with obstacles 5mm thick glass and 20 cars is 100 meters with a received signal strength of -112dBm. It can be concluded that for non-LOS connectivity between the LoRa SX1278 has an effectiveness distance at 50meters with an RSSI value of -99dBm and an SNR of 0.25dB, for a LOS condition it has an effectiveness at distance 50meters with RSSI value of -96dBm and SNR of 9dB.

Abstract

Industrial accidents are accidents that occur in the workplace, especially in an industrial environment. The most important factors in the occurrence of work accidents are technical equipment, work environment, and the workers themselves. Lighting that is not enough to illuminate workers when using machines can cause work accidents during the production process. In addition, hot conditions can also cause work accidents because hot temperatures make the body uncomfortable at work, reduce agility, interfere with the carefulness of the brain, and ease emotions so that workers cannot concentrate and can cause work accidents. The purpose of this research is to create a system that can detect temperature, smoke, and light in a GSM-based industrial environment. This system can help prevent industrial accidents by obtaining information about industrial environmental conditions for workers in the form of SMS. Temperature, smoke, and light sensors will send SMS information when each sensor exceeds the threshold value specified in the program. Information delivery is carried out using 3 different providers, namely Three, Indosat, and Telkomsel by comparing the amount of delay. The test results can be concluded that the three sensors can work well. The temperature sensor can detect temperature with an average error value of 0.03%. The smoke sensor can detect smoke with an average value of 0%. Provider Three can send information with a small average delay, namely 1.46s. Indosat providers can send information with an average delay of 3.68s. Telkomsel providers can send information with an average delay of 1.52s.

Abstract

In this study, a tool for telemonitoring dissolved solids was designed in the filtration of laundry wastewater which is used as a hydroponic planting medium, pH sensor, and TDS sensor to measure and obtain dissolved solids data that affect the plant growth process, then these data will be processed by the Arduino microcontroller. Nano so that the final result will be stored in the database and sent wirelessly via Wemos D1 so that it can be displayed in the android application. The research that has been done, obtained the results of the measurement value of dissolved solids of laundry wastewater before filtering for a Ph value of 6.63 and a solution concentration of 250 ppm. After twice filtration, the dissolved solids for Ph were 6.32 and TDS was 1276 ppm. Based on this study, the results of telemonitoring the average dissolved solids of laundry waste filtration water after being used as a hydroponic planting medium with a PH value of 6.86 and a TDS of 681 ppm. Because the dissolved solids value of the planting medium is not in accordance with the minimum standard of use in hydroponic agriculture (PH = 6.5; solution concentration = 850 ppm), it can be concluded that the use of laundry wastewater filtration causes plants to grow slowly and abnormally (stunted).

Abstract

This research propose to design a coffee bean dryer by utilizing a heater as a heating element to replace sunlight for the drying process of coffee beans. Ultrasonic sensor for detecting coffee beans in the dryer. When the temperature reaches 50°C, the heater, dimmer and fan will automatically turn off. All data will be processed using NodeMCU which will then be sent to the codular application. By utilizing IoT (Internet Of Things) technology, it is hoped that it can help smallholder coffee farming owners in monitoring and automatic drying of the coffee beans to be dried. From the test results, it can be concluded that the initial weight before curing is 250 grams, while the weight after curing is 247 grams. This is because there is a decrease in the water content in the coffee beans. The DHT22 sensor is able to measure an average temperature of around 49.75°C with an average humidity of 51.45% during the day, while for the night it is able to measure an average temperature of around 49.75°C with an average humidity of around 46.8%. The process of sending information from the device to Google Firebase via an internet connection, which takes an average of 0.01 seconds or 10 milliseconds, with this delay is included in the very good category.

Abstract

Pests are one of the main enemies of rice farmers who at any time can attack crops. The impact of rice pest attacks can reduce the production of rice crops, causing crop yields to decline. One of the pests that often unsettling rice farmers is bird pests (Passer spp.) and rats (Hundred argentiventer), the pest attack is determined by the state of the climate, and the unwise use of insecticides and the manual expulsion of pests takes a lot of time.  To reduce the above problems in this study will develop new innovations in agriculture, through The Repellent Tool Automatically is one way to help rice farmers to pollute the environment and expulsion manually. In this tool is installed a micro controller raspberry pi 3 as a link between the pear sensor and the camera module, in addition raspberry pi 3 is integrated with the smartphone application in real-time for the process of monitoring the presence of pests and using speakers to repel pests. The test results obtained by rat pests are disturbed when the speakers emit an ultrasonic wave frequency of 34-45KHz and bird pests will be disturbed if the speakers emit a frequency of 60kHz. The PIR sensor can detect the presence of rat pests with a vulnerable distance of 5-50cm, while the camera detects the movement of bird groups and gets an accuracy percentage of 44.4% of the test results and an average delay of 1.08 seconds.

Abstract

Birds are animals that are very much favored by the community. Currently, lovebirds is popular to be kept and even bred, because the cost of maintenance is cheap and the opportunity to raise it is very good and promising. So that many people are interested in pursuing lovebird livestock business even though breeding is neither easy nor difficult. The reseach purpose was to create monitoring system for the quality of lovebird eggs to be declared hatchable and unable to hatch by utilizing conveyor machines, infrared sensors, LDR sensors and servo motors. All these components are connected to smartphone via mcu node. The captured data is sent to firebase and monitored on the smartphone. The data includes the number of fertile and infertile eggs, and the eggs resistance value scanned by the LDR sensor. The system implementation is done by placing sample of lovebird eggs on conveyor machine and then testing it one by one, then the resistance value is displayed on the smartphone, then the average value is calculated, and the percentage of the sensor is successful in reading the egg condition. The results of testing on lovebird eggs produced 2 conditions, fertile and infertilee. If the resistance value is > 505ohm then the egg is declared fertile and it’s declared invert if resistance value is < 505ohm. In distance testing, the most accurate distance is 1-24cm, the sensor cannot work accurately if the distance between eggs shorter, because the sensor takes time to return to the initial scan mode.

Abstract

Illegal parking in Malang State Polytechnic is still not well monitored. The Officer Pengamanan Dalam(Pamdal), whose job is to curb Polinema residents who park their vehicles, cannot monitor the vehicles regularly, so there are still many who park illegally. Based on this, an automatic system that can be used by Pamdal to monitor illegal parking in Polinema is needed. Therefore, "Illegal Parking Monitoring Information System Using Infrared Sensor Based On Android" was created. The system built uses several components, including Arduino Nano, ESP32 Cam, Infrared Sensor, and servo motor. With the making of this tool and research, it is hoped that it will be able to assist in disciplining polynemaic residents to order parking through monitoring of the system being built. Three pieces of equipment were made and placed in front of the AH Building, in front of the AI ??Building, and next to the AO Building. The results of the experiment for notifications from the three nodes have different delays in sending data from the node to the smartphone on the user side. Delay at node two has the greatest delay, which is 193.0708 ms. Meanwhile, node three has excellent performance with an average delay value of 107.0723 ms.

Abstract

Voice over Internet Protocol (also called  VoIP,  IP Telephony,  Internet Telephony  or  Digital Phone)is a   technology that enables remote voice conversation through internet media. Voice data is converted into digital code and streamed over a network that delivers data packets, rather than through a regular analog telephone circuit. In VoIP  communication,users make telephone connection through a terminal in the form of a PC or a regularphone. By calling voip,  manyadvantages that can be taken in terms of costare obviously cheaper than traditional phone rates, because IP networks are global. IP Phone can be added, moved and changed. This is because  VoIP can be installed in any ethernet and IP address,unlike conventional phones that must have their own port in Sentral or  PBX  (Private branch exchange). In this study implementing connectedness between servers using single board computer   installed  elastix operating system that aims to implement  prefix for between servers and use some audio codecs. The results of telephone research using prefix and without prefix as many as 6 clients or 3 pasng calls simultaneously the highest packet loss  value in codec speex   with prefix  of 2.34%. The  highest bandwidth value used is with pcmu prefix codec with an average of 82.3 Kbps and without prefix 79.3 Kbps. Abstract

Education today demands a better regular and scheduled level of discipline so that the teaching and learning process can take place according to a predetermined schedule. However, most education parties still experience difficulties in demanding this because attendance activities are still manual and less regular in monitoring.The purpose of this study is to assist lecturers in carrying out daily class attendance by utilizing QR Code as a differentiator, which makes it easier for them to use smartphones from each lecturer.In this research, a lecturer attendance application using QR-Code was made where lecturers can do attendance using a smartphone camera for scanning the QR-Code that has been provided in each classroom.From the results of tests carried out on the application made, it was found that the application runs smoothly on several versions of Android and smartphone brands but on Android version 6.0 there is a lack of appearance and when scanning QRCode it takes time. When testing QoS, the highest delay value is in the 2nd Floor AH Building with a value of 120.1695 which means good and the average packet loss is 8%, while for the highest throughput on the 2nd floor AH Building with an average value of 7.598487 which means speed good network.

Abstract

The average senior spends his time indoors also needs enough exercise, so a static bike is needed that can display heart rate and body temperature data while exercising, so that further action can be taken after knowing the measurement results. On static bikes there are Heart Rate sensors, DS18B20 temperature sensors, and Infrared FC-51 sensors as detectors for the number of laps and wheel speeds. When the elderly start cycling with the selected duration and the photodiode sensor detects the presence of rotation then the Heart Rate sensor and DS18B20 sensor will be able to display heart rate and body temperature data. Data from sensors during cycling is transmitted wirelessly via NodeMCU so that it can be displayed in the android app until the time runs out and the alarm will sound, from the data obtained can result in a normal or abnormal diagnosis of heart rate and body temperature values. In addition, it can also be known the quality of body temperature and heart rate based on the number of rounds and the speed of the wheel. From the results of the study can be concluded that the determination of normal diagnosis in the elderly when the body temperature ranges from 35°C - 38°C and the heart rate can be calculated by a formula that is 220 minus age. During the process of sending data obtained average – troughput average of 9 tests of 6,153 Kb/s with a minimum delay of 28,590 ms and maximal of 88,078 ms.
