Abstract

A Server is a system that provides certain services on a computer network. The Server has its own operating system called the network operating system. The Server also controls all access to existing networks.  In order to help server tasks, a server mirroring system is set up where the server is duplicating a data sets or an exact clone of a server providing various information. Mirror server or also called Server synchronization is a duplicate of a server. To add performance from the server, a load balancer is required. Load balancing is a technique for distributing two internet connection paths equally. With the application of load balancing the traffic will run more optimally, maximizing throughput, and avoiding overload on the connection path. Iptables is used for IP filtering so the clients could access the server according to the closest server zone, so that the load balance combined with iptables can reduce the server's load. A common problem is when many clients access a server and the server will overload and cause the server performance to be slow because of the heavy traffic. The access Client also get the effect of this, which is slow response time. From the result of research on the combination of load balance and iptables, it was found that the load balance with the round robin algorithm the average delay obtained for server1 was 0.149 seconds and 0.19122. Server2 has an average delay of 0.161 seconds and 0.012 seconds.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology increases the competitive power of the business world which is getting bigger. This technology has information and communication systems that are easily accessible by the internet. In a restaurant / shop has different ordering systems. Drive thru is a service that is considered a modern system, consumers can easily order food or drinks even though they are still in the vehicle and do not need to enter the store. In the drive thru ordering system, consumers come to the intended shop and can order food from the vehicle without the need to enter the restaurant, where the order is ordered directly in front of the microphone outlet which is connected to the cashier specifically for drive thru consumers and if so, consumers can continue. to the cashier to make payments and take orders. In this study, a food ordering system is proposed for the drive thru store, by making an application and web admin where consumers can place orders quickly, and there is also Qrcode which functions as a sign of user purchases and Epay's balance which simplifies the payment process. Web functions as admin data. The test results can be concluded that the Qrcode detection on Qrcode scanner has an average reading accuracy at a distance of 2.98cm, in the Qos test which is carried out with different networks, the result is that the Telkomsel provider gets the smallest delay with a value of 0.121766.

Abstract

Indonesia has a famous sweet potato called Ubi Cilembu that has a chewy and attractive meat structure. The advantages of this sweet potato, if baked in an oven, will produce a sweet honey flavor. Cilembu Sweet Potato that does not taste honey when eaten will reduce the delicacy because during the roasting process using an oven, there is no temperature control system that causes not toasted properly. Since reversing Cilembu yams is still done manually which can be endangering workers if exposed to a hot part of the oven. Because of this, the researcher will make it easier for users to work on the cilembu sweet potato roasting process more effectively than an oven control system is made. The implementation system is done by entering the temperature setpoint value and the timer via the remote displayed on the LCD, then the data is sent using a wireless module when the oven's half-timer time will rotate automatically by using the servo metal gear. The results are carried out by using a remote temperature control in the oven by entering the temperature setpoint value and the timer via the remote displayed on the LCD, then the data is sent using the wireless module when the furnace timer half time in the oven will rotate automatically using a metal servo gear. The system performance is designed to work within 2 hours with a weight of 1 kg of cilembu sweet potato using a temperature of 100.50 ° C.

Abstract

The toll ticket payment mechanism still uses e-toll cards by attaching e-toll cards to the reader at the toll gate. This has several drawbacks, including the driver having difficulty sticking the cards. At present, a device has emerged to access the toll road without attaching a card known as the OBU. However, this device has a pretty expensive price. Therefore, an access system in and out of toll roads is made without using a card. With this system, users only need to register license plates in a database and there are applications that will also be used for payment, and as trip monitoring. By using ultrasonic sensors and image processing methods, vehicle license plates that will enter the toll road can be detected. The test results are known to distance of the camera to the number plate to read correctly as far as 2 - 3 meter and when the distance of the camera to the number plate as far as 4 m, shows the wrong reading of the license plate. Ultrasonic sensor testing showed no failure in ten attempts. Ultrasonic sensors are used to detect the presence of objects vehicles when vehicles enter or exit the toll road

Abstract

The growing number of internet applications and their users can affect the quality of the internet, each application has different traffic needs. In addition, bandwidth management can also lend bandwidth that has been allocated in accordance with its priorities in order to optimize existing bandwidth usage. Regulating and limiting internet bandwidth usage is indeed an important thing when our internet connection is limited. We need to limit the bandwidth quota of each user connected to the Mikrotik Router. In Mikrotik Router itself, there are features that can limit bandwidth, namely simple queue and queue tree. In the use of VoIP services, bandwidth management is required to manage traffic on the network, the appropriate bandwidth settings can optimize the speed of data transmission. Looking at the internet needs, this research designs an implementation of bandwidth management using routerboard, which will be applied to IP-PBX and use raspberry pi as a server. The results of the research on bandwidth management implementation in simple queue and queue tree is each able to serve 6 users with PCMU codecs, from the test obtained packet loss value of 0.00% from 3 clients, and jitter has an average value of 167.37% from 3 clients.

Abstract

In this study, the application can be used so that consumers can find out the fat content and acidity in Barco oil, fish dorang, and bulk oil which has an android monitoring system in real-time. This research uses Arduino UNO and Node MCU as the microcontroller. Arduino Uno will later be assembled together with water pH modules, ultrasonic HC-SR04, and capacitive soil. The pH module functions to measure the water and fat content in palm oil. An ultrasonic module that functions to measure the volume of the oil measurement container. The capacitive module is used to determine the density of quality in saturated oil. The test results can be concluded that the pH sensor can detect levels of fat and acidity in palm oil has a value of about 5 to 11. Ultrasonic sensors on the volume of oil samples of Barco and fish dorang have a significantly increased grapH, while the bulk oil sample has a very high grapH which causes acidity oil. This study has the highest delay of 1.303525ms and the lowest delay of 0.628276ms. With an average value of delay obtained of 1.189657 ms.

Abstract

So far, there are many manual methods used to determine the freshness of chicken eggs, for example utilizing sunlight or a flashlight to illuminate the eggs in a dark place and then look at the contents of the chicken eggs for sorting. The same process has also been carried out by breeders or grocery traders to sort chicken eggs based on their quality. The purpose of this research is to make a chicken egg detection device using a conveyor, LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) sensor, lamp, LCD (Liquid Crystal Display), servo motor, esp8266 module and Arduino Mega Microcontroller as a processor. The performance results of this device affect the condition of the egg chicken to be detected. The results of this study, this tool has an accuracy of 95% in detecting egg quality, where the LDR sensor shows an ADC value of <260 for indicators of good egg quality, while ADC values ??of more than> 26 for indicators of poor egg quality. Once the eggs are detected, the servo will direct good quality chicken eggs to the right and poor quality chicken eggs to the left. Delivery of notifications and information to the website application is done online and in real time, and a good internet network is required. The time it takes for the system to transmit data from the time the system detects an egg until it appears on the website is 20 - 50 ms, according to ITU-T standards

Abstract

The need for water in each land varies depending on the area and conditions of the land. In addition, the technology is still done manually. We need a lot of time to irrigate the plants therefore it is not effective. Efforts must be made to optimize water management, such as on-time, on quantity, and on target, as well as covering a large area. This research proposes an android-based automatic floodgate telecontrolling system by utilizing a Soil Moisture sensor and an android application. Relays are used as opening and closing sluices. The results of the relay status when on or off and the humidity value will enter the application and can be monitored in real-time. The test results show that the Soil Moisture  Sensor can detect Soil Moisture with an average error of 0.362%. The control and monitoring system through the application using Android is in accordance with the plan with an average delay for ON / OFF status and a humidity value of 0.487295s.

Abstract

The problem that exists on the server for video call services is that the use of the server usually uses a PC that has FreePBX installed and requires some hardware that must be provided, such as a CPU with 312 MB of memory specifications used, 800 MHz Pentium III CPU. There is an alternative to building a server with better specifications than conventional CPUs in supporting video call services using a Mini PC. One type of popular Mini PC is the Raspberry Pi. Based on the results of a comparative study, two Mini PC servers are able to serve customer capacity at video resolution for the H264 codec. Two Mini PC servers are able to serve as many as 10 client video call communications with CPU and RAM usage on the Raspberry Pi 4 compared to the Raspberry Pi 3 with an average CPU usage of 39.8% and RAM Usage 282 MB viewed using the HTOP command on putty. Determination of the amount of user capacity is determined based on the number of clients communicating simultaneously, and the CPU and RAM usage on the Mini PC.

Abstract

Voice chat application is an application designed to replace the HT function on an Android smartphone. Besides being able to make voice calls, this application can be used to communicate with text. This application does not require cellular networks to communicate, simply by connecting to a network provided by an existing access point. The applications can be used without using a cellular network, when making an application requires a socket. Socket is an API that exists on Android studio software. While socket programming is a way to use socket components to create an application, one of which is a voice chat application. After being installed in android smartphones, each smartphone is connected to a network provided by an existing access point so that it can communicate by voice or text. Communication is carried out between smartphones with one another point to point. The test results can be concluded that this application can be used to communicate with voice and text, as long as the user is on the same network. This application can be used in all types of Android mobile phones for voice communication but communication with text can only be used on certain mobile brands.
