Community Services is an implementation activity of science, technology and cultural arts directly to the community institutionally through scientific methodology as a translation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education,as well as the responsibility of scientists in efforts to develop community capacity, so as to accelerate the pace of growth in achieving development goals. So that community services can be done affectively and efficiently, it is necessary to conduct research before and after its implementation. The Scope of Community Service includes the following fields of activity: The development of technological science and art into products that can be directly utilized by the community. Training services, economic empowerment of communities to become independent, and the development of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) Dissemination of science, technology and cultural arts is a product that needs to be known and utilized by the community. This effort can be done through various ways such as providing counseling, providing pilots, demonstrating, and publishing media publications. Placement of science and technology correctly and appropriately according to the situation of the people and the demands of development. Providing assistance to the community in identifying problems faced and finding alternative solutions by using a scientific approach. Providing professional services to the community in various problem areas that require careful handling by using expertise and skills that are not yet owned by the community concerned.

Abstract

The development of information technology is snowballing, data is processed quickly and practically. Several problems often arise. Social instructors often find it difficult to process the data to determine which social service decisions should be provided. Persons with Disabilities are any person who experiences physical, intellectual, mental, and sensory limitations in the long term in interacting with the environment and may experience obstacles and difficulties in participating fully and effectively with other citizens based on equal rights. The Initial Assessment Form is a decision-making instrument through a process called the Initial Assessment. Later, the need for Social Welfare Services (PPKS) can be known as whether the quality is ready to be educated and included in the residential, community, or family categories. The method in this research is to use the Engineering Research Method. The decision tree model produces an accuracy level of 86.6%, the test data is suitable, and 13.3% is not suitable. In determining the service category and calculating the C4.5 Algorithm, it is better to add the number of datasets so that the accuracy of the value is higher.

Abstract

Based on the results of observation and interviews, the background of this research is the fluctuation of the clients’ late-paid installment data due to the bank’s improper in analyzing potential clients. Therefore, the bank applied a 5C analysis method to prevent the clients’ failed and/or late payments at the Sharia Bank of Indonesia (BSI) Buah Batu 2 branch office. This research aims to discover how to apply the 5C principle on micro People’s Business Credits (KUR) financing at the Sharia Bank of Indonesia (BSI) Buah Batu 2 branch office. The descriptive qualitative method is applied to this research with the 5C principle as the object. Furthermore, observation, interviews, literature review, and documentation are the techniques used to collect this research’s primary data. The research findings lead to the conclusion, that is, the application of 5C analysis has been implemented by the bank before they approved the financing. Nevertheless, the bank still gets a problem in observing the character aspect of the clients for the reason that one’s character is way too complex and difficult to observe. Moreover, there are three points for the aspects of character, three points for the aspects of capacity, five points for the capital aspects, six points for the collateral aspects, and lastly, two points for the condition aspects.

Abstract

In this paper, we present a comprehensive study aimed at enhancing the cultivation of ginger plants through the integration of smart farming technology. Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is an essential crop in the agriculture-based economy of Indonesia, providing numerous health benefits and culinary applications. However, traditional farming methods often face challenges such as inefficiencies, resource wastage, and unpredictable yields. The research conducted in Padamulya Ciamis Village seeks to address these issues by harnessing the potential of smart farming technology. The study involves the implementation of cutting-edge agricultural tools, including Internet of Things (IoT) devices, sensor networks, and data analytics. By utilizing these advancements, the project aims to optimize the cultivation process, ensure sustainable resource management, and enhance overall productivity. The methodology of the research encompasses a mix of experimental trials, data collection, and analysis. Smart sensors are deployed to monitor critical variables such as soil moisture, temperature, humidity, and light intensity, enabling farmers to gain real-time insights into their ginger fields. The collected data is processed using machine learning algorithms, providing predictive models and personalized recommendations for cultivation practices. The results of this study demonstrate promising advancements in ginger farming practices. By implementing smart farming technology, farmers in Padamulya Ciamis Village experience optimized irrigation schedules, precise nutrient delivery, and timely pest control measures, leading to increased crop yields and improved quality. Furthermore, resource utilization efficiency is enhanced, minimizing water and fertilizer wastage, contributing to the sustainable and eco-friendly management of ginger plantations. Beyond its local implications, this research showcases the potential of smart farming technology as a transformative force in agriculture. The findings serve as a foundation for scaling up similar projects in other regions of Indonesia and beyond, contributing to the nation's agricultural modernization and food security. Finally, the development of smart farming technology on ginger plants in Padamulya Ciamis Village presents a promising pathway towards sustainable and efficient agricultural practices. By combining traditional farming knowledge with cutting-edge technology, this study exemplifies how smart farming can elevate crop cultivation, empower farmers, and foster rural development in Indonesia.

Abstract

Low-income households are faced with the financial risk of paying large medical bills when a member of the household falls ill. This health-related risk can affect household welfare because meeting medical expenses has the potential to reduce income capacity. Community-based health insurance is seen as one mechanism for vulnerable low- and middle-income households to overcome barriers and to improve access to health care and financial protection. This research was conducted to determine the calculation of community-based health microinsurance premiums based on health costs and determine the average willingness to pay insurance premiums. The determination of the premium is calculated based on the pure premium and other costs. Data obtained based on surveys and data provided by health facilities. Based on the results of the research, the pure individual premium is IDR 92,297.12 per year. The total individual premium calculated based on pure premium and other costs is IDR 275,256.80 per year. If the premium is paid monthly, a premium of IDR 22,938.07 per month will be obtained. Then the average value is obtained WTP or willingness to pay IDR 38,368.42 per month. The average value of the willingness to pay is greater than the total monthly health micro insurance premium that has been determined.
