Abstract

Underwater remotely operated vehicle mainly used to help human for underwater activities such as underwater exploration, underwater maintenance, and underwater search and rescue. Underwater remotely operated vehicle also used for education, entertainment, and competitions. In some case especially for an important or highly risk tasks, the ROV applied some functions to improve and optimize the use of the ROV for some missions. This paper presents a heading hold system which is applied in the ROV to maintain heading position or pose of the robot. Using a GY-271 compass sensor to read the data of ROV heading position, microcontroller Arduino mega 2560 as a central processing unit and PID controller as a feedback controller to maintain ROV on desired position by controlling thruster speed and direction. The experiments give a result of the control system using PID by 5% error for the ROV to maintain heading position in steady position.

Abstract

In the 4.0 era, walking aids for the visually impaired are needed, especially when the user is indoors and outdoors. There are already many tools created, one of which the author wants to make is a wristband. Components include: Ultrasonic Sensor HC-SR04, Arduino Nano, Servo SG90 Motor, and Buzzer. The stages in this study are designing hardware, designing programs, and implementing and testing tools. The testing carried out on this tool is to read the results of objects with distances of 80cm, 90cm, 100cm, 110cm and 120cm. Not only did it test the distance, it also tested the rotation angle performed by the servo motor to drive ultrasonic sensors by 0o,60o,and 120o. It aims to be able to detect in any direction. The results of this tool test have a repeatability rate of 98%, as well as a 97.33% success rate for detecting objects.

Abstract

The charging device usually uses a transformer and a diode bridge. Charging the battery is called direct charging. Because it does not have a safety for the battery it can cause heat to the battery. But over time, this is no longer effective, this work can be done digitally using a microcontroller.. However, this tool is still not perfect because at the time of testing it cannot be set, sooner or later, the charging is to cut time efficiency and there is no indicator that states that the charging is full or not. Therefore, based on the description above, the researcher aims to make a smart charging accumulator based on the Arduino Uno microcotroller that is smarter, more efficient and can be used easily, with the advantage of having a tap changer on the transformer that functions as a regulator of the output voltage. as desired and piezoelectric alarm as an indicator if a full charge or there is a problem with the equipment itself.

Abstract

Locker is one of the facilities that many people use to store, and locker very useful for human right now, eiter in Gym,Mall,School and other public places. In general lockers are used to store valuables so that visitors can carry out activities more freely and also to preven theft in that place. Microcontroller based Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) security locker is a locker that uses RFID security to replace the card or key that has been used in lockers that still use a manual system. Safety in the form of RFID can make it easier for locker users with a microcontroller based to control all system inputs and outputs.

Abstract

The development in this era is increasing, humans expect a tool or technology that can help human work, because now technology has become a human need. Therefore, a device that can do watering the wine is made automatically. This tool aims to replace manual work to be automatic. The benefits that can be obtained from this tool is that it can facilitate human work in watering grapes. This tool uses a soil moisture sensor which functions as a soil moisture detector and sends commands to Arduino uno to turn on the relay driver so that the pump can flush water according to soil needs automatically. The making of this final project is done by designing, creating and implementing system components including Arduino uno as a controller, relay drivers for turning on and off the water pump, LCD (Liquid Cristal Display) to display soil moisture values. The results of the research prove that the tool made can function properly and can be developed as expected. The tool can water the vine when the soil humidity is below 50%, and turn off the pump when the soil moisture is above 50%.

Abstract

The photovoltaic system is a renewable energy source that utilizes solar energy and converts it into direct current (DC) electrical energy as an alternative energy to replace fossil fuels which will run out over time because it cannot be renewed quickly. In the design of the Maximum Power Point Tracking Two Axis On Photovoltaic Based on Arduino Uno intends to get a solar panel system that can work automatically following the maximum point of sunlight. The LDR (Light Dependent Resisitor) sensor functions to provide analog signals to Arduino Uno which Arduino Uno then processed as a basis for decision making to move the steper motor in changing the position of the solar panel so that it can get maximum sun exposure

Abstract

The automatic fish grill is a tool that is very helpful for food vendors who are processed in a roasting manner. For now, conventional automatic grills that are already on the market have very expensive prices so that many traders still use manual fish grills which are less efficient in the process of doing them. The purpose of making this automatic fish grill design is to help human work to save more time and energy. The automatic fish roasting box is designed with heat absorbers in each layer, equipped with two racks, each measuring 50cm and also equipped with 2 250 watt heaters. From the test results using different types of carp with different weights, it shows that the automatic fish grill works well and gets a 100% percentage result with evenly cooked fish. The economical level of automatic fish grill has a good value, the whole design of automatic fish grill uses good quality materials and materials. For now, automatic roasters on the market have very expensive prices, this difference in price has made many traders not take full advantage of the technology. Because of this problem, researchers created an automatic fish grill based on a temperature controller, which is targeted at an inexpensive price, but can still be used safely and with maximum results. Thus, using a temperature controller-based automatic fish grill design can help simplify work to make it more efficient and safer.

Abstract

Electricity problems in rural areas more and more electric power is needed. Until now, power plants that use water turbines are environmentally friendly electricity producers, so the potential for energy from the air needs to be utilized to address the demand for electricity. Therefore, the solution to this problem is to use the "Design and Construction of Hydroelectric Generator for Public Street Lighting". The generator is a source of electric voltage obtained by converting mechanical energy into electrical energy. The generator works based on the principle of electromagnetic induction, which is by rotating a coil in a magnetic field so that the induced GGL (Electric Motion Force) arises. In this thesis, a research is conducted on the Water Turbine Generator in the river in the village area of Padi Gondang Mojokerto as an object of water flow in order to generate electric power to reduce crime in the area in the form of a load object in the form of Public Street Lighting.
