Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dan industri saat ini menunjukkan peningkatan yang sangat pesatseiring dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Untuk menghadapi perdagangan bebas dan persainganekonomi setiap perusahaan dituntut untuk menghasilkan produk yang memiliki kualitas yang baik. Dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen yang bersifat developmental (berkembang)penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat alat pendeteksi logam (metal detector) untuk industri makanan menggunakan PLC. Alat ini bisa mendeteksi dan mengambil logam dan dipisahkan dari bahan makanan. Pengendalian yang dilakukanPLC ini meliputi pengendalian motor–motor penggerak dan indikator berupa buzzer yangdidasarkan pada input atau masukan dari rangkaiansensor logam dan limit switch. Dengan proses pendeteksian yang dilakukan alat ini maka dapat dijadikan parameter dalam peningkatan mutu produk-produk industri khususnya dalam industri makanan. Sehingga para konsumen bisa merasa aman dan tidak dirugikan.

Abstract

Penggunaan energi terbarukan semakin banyak diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, khususnya pada pemanfaatan energi dari matahari dengan bantuan perangkat sel surya. Energi dari sel surya secara luas dapat digunakan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan berbagai macam perangkat yang memerlukan energi listrik, salah satunya dapat digunakan sebagai sumber daya utama untuk pengoperasian perangkat prototipe desalinasi dual output. Perangkat ini memiliki fungsi dapat memproduksi air tawar dan kristal garam secara bersamaan melalui proses distilasi. Dengan menggunakan sel surya sebagai sumber daya utama, maka proses tersebut sangat ramah lingkungan dan murah dalam biaya operasionalnya, namun banyaknya energi listrik yang dibangkitkan oleh sel surya sangat tergantung dari cuaca di sekitarnya. Untuk mengefisienkan penggunaan energi sel surya maka peneliti memiliki solusi dengan menerapkan sensor suhu sebagai kontrol otomatis dalam menghidupkan dan mematikan elemen pemanas pada proses distilasi. Hasil yang didapat berupa sistem kontrol menggunakan perangkat mikrokontroler dan sensor suhu yang mampu secara akurat mengendalikan elemen pemanas dengan menyalakannya saat suhu di bawah 100oC dan mematikannya saat suhu di atas 100oC sehingga tidak terjadi pemborosan listrik saat proses distilasi pada suhu tinggi.

Abstract

Fixed cranes are tools used in the process of loading and unloading containers/materials from trucks and vice versa. Most of the young crane (beginners) operators in the port area are still unfamiliar in carrying out these tools, therefore the authors conduct research to make the fixedprototype crane that has functions and controls (including joystick) that allows the original device to remain valid. Insight enhancers in using real fixed cranes. The circuit built from Arduino Uno, DC motor (Gear Hoist and Gear Slewing), servo motor, and joystick as input for motion controllers from all systems. Fixed crane prototypes that have been made above are the best of the hoist system or the best slewing system todetermine the load that can be carried by the system. From the results of these calculations that the prototype fixed crane made has a maximum carrying capacity in terms of hoist and slewing of 90 grams

Abstract

The design of this explosive detector is an alternative low-cost explosive detector device that can detect the presence of explosives by comparing the value of the magnetic field so that an object will be known to be an explosive or not. This tool can provide additional assistance in the Juanda airport area which still rarely uses conventional explosive detector equipment because the price is still expensive. This design uses a magnetometer sensor that can calculate the magnitude of the magnetic field in the explosives and will send analog inputs in the form of voltage values to the Arduino displayed with LCD media and sound from the buzzer so that the category of explosives can be detected.

Abstract

Locker is one of the facilities that many people use to store, and locker very useful for human right now, eiter in Gym,Mall,School and other public places. In general lockers are used to store valuables so that visitors can carry out activities more freely and also to preven theft in that place. Microcontroller based Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) security locker is a locker that uses RFID security to replace the card or key that has been used in lockers that still use a manual system. Safety in the form of RFID can make it easier for locker users with a microcontroller based to control all system inputs and outputs.

Abstract

The development of information technology has now been widely used to facilitate, accelerate, and streamline work. The recording system that is still being applied is a type of recording using a manual system using paper media and is inefficient when viewed from a time perspective, recapitulating attendance data and the accuracy or authenticity of the data presented. There is still a frequent habit of voting in the village head elections or not being present at the voting process. Contrary to these problems, this research has developed a recording system using RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology. RFID will use sensors to read data. The use of RFID which can make it easier for KPPS officers at TPS. The use of both active and passive RFID technology is able to help record and move data in KPPS, Use of RFID technology, data will be recorded only by passing through a sensor reader on the device, thus the attendance data present by pilkades participants will be stored automatically in storage. So that the attendance of election participants will be easier to do, faster and avoid human error or fraud in the absence of pilkades

Abstract

ABSTRACT Medicinal plants are a source of power that has existed since age-old. TOGA used by our ancestors in order to overcome health problems by making various ingredients of medicinal issues. Therefore the use of medicinal plant families or we called TOGA should be developed and circulated in the community, especially for all of households. But many people are still not aware of the utilization of family medicine. People often mistake them for the raw material too produce of traditional medicines and they do not understand yet how to process the material. It can cause side effects that are different for each person if given excessive doses of the drug. Health to our survival is very important, because without health we could not do any activities that can sustain our lifes. The method used observation and documentation. Medicinal plants are all kinds of plants that have their own uses as a medicine. Many parts of the plant can be used, such as the fruit, stems, leaves, and roots or tubers. Processing technology medicinal plants can be done by sorting, alteration, draining, and drying, storage, and so on. While herb processing can be done by grind, boil, and simmer. Abstract

Kerupuk melarat adalah sejenis kerupuk yang menggunakan pasir Lumajang sebagai mediapenggorengan dengan keuntungan lebih murah, mudah didapat dan tahan lama. Tahapan produksikerupuk melarat dimulai pengeringan kemudian digoreng. Pengeringan kerupuk melarat DesaGrabagan sangat dipengaruhi oleh cuaca (konvensional), pada musim kemarau membutuhkanwaktu 6 jam sedangkan musim penghujan lebih lama kurang lebih 2 hari. Solusi yang ditawarkanoleh tim pelaksana pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah penggunaan mesin pengering kerupukmelarat elektrik tipe kabinet menggunakan LPG sebagai pemanas. Tujuan program pengabdiankepada masyarakat ini adalah mengembangkan softskill dan hardskill pengusaha kerupuk melaratdi Desa Grabagan melalui penggunaan teknologi tepat guna dalam pengeringan kerupuk sehinggasemakin meningkatkan produktifitas industri dan efisiensi produksi. Metode yang digunakanadalah sosialisasi, demo penggunaan mesin dan pendampingan. Penggunaan mesin pengeringelektrik maka produksi lebih efisien kurang lebih 300%, lebih higienis, dapat dikontrol temperaturmesin dan menghemat lahan untuk penjemuran.

Abstract

Currently, the control of cultivated plants is still manual, where farmers watering and checking soil moisture on the planting object. However, we cannot avoid technological progress in this life because technological progress will run following scientific advances. Therefore, every innovation is created to provide positive benefits for life. The ideal chili cultivation planning requires information about climatic conditions that play a significant role in chili cultivation is rainfall. Plant growth will be incredible if there is sufficient water supply; humidity for chili plants ranges from 60-80%. Therefore, chili cultivation planning must pay attention to rainfall because related to water availability. Smart Garden prototype design is a solution for taking appropriate actions during extreme weather and reducing human error. A prototype Smart Garden-based Internet of Things (IoT) using the Blynk app as User Interface (GUI) in the monitoring system and using the Soil Moisture sensor as input for soil moisture conditions, where the results of the process are sent via Wemos D1 mini-module to the Blynk server to display the state of soil moisture and automatic watering.

Abstract

Toga instan adalah tanaman obat keluarga yang memiliki banyak manfaat. Mobilitas masyarakat grabagan membutuhkan kondisi sehat secara optimal yang sangat tinggi. Banyaknya jenis penyakit yang disebabkan oleh cara mengkonsumsi makanan yang salah atau makanan yang baik yang tidak terlindungi menjadi tren masyarakat namun tetap dengan kehati hatian. Memberikan sosialisasi tentang pemanfaatn Toga Instant dapat mengatasi masalah yang muncul di masyarakat. Metode toga instan itu praktis, terutama jahe. 1 kg jahe, 1 kg gula, dan 1L air ditumis, tetapi sebelum itu, 1 kg giling diparut dan diambil ekstraknya kemudian disimpan selama 12 jam. Sosialisasi dan demonstrasi yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat di desa grabagan mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal yaitu bubuk jahe yang siap dikonsumsi. Dengan demikian hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kreativitas dan inovasi masyarakat untuk memanfaatkan potensi sumberr daya alam yang ada di sekitar rumah.
