Abstract

This study analyzes the social and economic factors that motivate women to work in the public sector at PT. X in Kendari City. Social aspects such as considerations for their children's future, husband's occupation, and self-actualization, as well as economic aspects like husband's income, household expenditures, and the desire to save, influence women's decision to work. Their time allocation is divided between work and household tasks, with 8 hours for work and 16 hours used for household chores and rest. Nevertheless, they still financially contribute to the family and depend on family support in caring for their children. The presence of female workers at PT. X impacts their families, highlighting the intricate balance between work and family responsibilities. Support for female workers through flexible work arrangements, time management, and safe childcare facilities is crucial in alleviating their burden. The conclusion of this study underscores the interplay between social and economic factors in women's workforce participation, with systemic support aiding in maximizing their roles in both professional and family environments.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effects of biomatriconditioning treatment of seeds and the age of seedlings at transplanting on the growth of paddy rice, simulating the System of Rice Intensification (SRI) method. The study employs a Split Plot design within a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with 3 replications. The primary focus is on seeds subjected to six biomatriconditioning treatments: untreated seeds (B1 and B2), treatment with red brick powder (B3 and B5), and treatment with rice husk charcoal powder (B4 and B6). The age of seedlings at transplanting is categorized into four levels: direct planting (H0), 7 days (H1), 14 days (H2), and 21 days (H3). Observed parameters encompass plant height, leaf count, tiller count, leaf area, and Relative Growth Rate (RGR). Analysis results indicate an optimal interaction at B6H1, displaying the tallest plant height, while the highest leaf count is achieved at B2H1. Maximum leaf area is attained at B4H3, and the highest tiller count is found in B5H2. The most effective treatment for RGR is transplanting after 21 days (H3), with the optimal biomatriconditioning treatment being B4. These findings suggest that the application of rice husk charcoal powder with Bacillus sp. PLK7 on 21-day-old seedlings holds the potential to significantly enhance paddy rice growth, aligning with the SRI method.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of marketing factors on the level of customer satisfaction in X Kendari Muslim fashion store. The results of the analysis show that products have a positive and significant influence on customer satisfaction. Higher product quality contributes to increased customer satisfaction. In addition, price also has an important impact; when the price matches the value of the product, customer satisfaction increases. Store location also plays a crucial role in customer satisfaction. Strategically located stores result in greater satisfaction. Promotion also has a significant positive influence, with the implementation of good promotions able to increase customer satisfaction.
