Abstract

Urban society as modern society does not only consume functional basic needs to survive. But fulfilling needs that are becoming a desire of urban society. The birth of the culture of consumerism is currently making rapid changes to the city community. However, not all urban communities accept this change. therefore, it is not uncommon to fight arguments and violence resulting from changes in consumerism. This culture of consumerism is motivated by the emergence of a period of capitalism which is carried by liberalism. The emergence of a culture of consumerism has a positive and negative impact. Has a positive impact when the employment field increases, the birth of new technology and others. The negative is when hedonism, consumerism, capitalism, and others arise

Abstract

The development of internet technology and the ease of access of various communication equipment, have an influence on the style of consumers to shop effectively and efficiently. Web-based electronic commerce in business competition requires more creative and innovative ways to better indulge consumers to remain loyal. Therefore the Costomer Relationship Management (CRM) method is determined by the company to get as many costomers as possible in order to establish good relationships with consumers. Istana Karpet dan Perabot is one of the companies engaged in the sale of furniture. In the process of ordering as long as this happens it is done by the way consumers come directly to the store. The system that has been used often creates obstacles in the process of providing information about the latest products and making orders. In overcoming this problem, the Istana Karpet dan Perabot requires a computational system that is able to introduce its products and place orders online.

Abstract

Gempa Sumatera Barat pada 30 September 2009 yang turut melanda Kota Padang telah mengakibatkan sebagian besar bangunan mengalami rusak berat dan ringan. Makalah ini membahas jenis kerusakan, perbaikan dan perkuatan bangunan rumah warga di Perumahan Mekar Melati Kelurahan Lubuk Minturun Kota Padang, Sumatera Barat. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan survei dan asesmen secara langsung, baik rumah yang mengalami rusak berat maupun rusak ringan. Pascagempa 2009 bangunan rumah warga di perumahan Mekar Melati Kelurahan Lubuk Minturun, umumnya banyak mengalami rusak berat dan juga rusak ringan. Penyebabnya adalah karena bangunan di sana termasuk kategori rumah yang sangat sederhana (RSS). Material bangunan yang digunakan tidak memakai slof, apalagi dinding yang hanya menggunakan bahan hollowbrick, dimana bahan tersebut jika tidak diplaster maka akan menjadi rapuh sehingga mengakibatkan bangunan mudah runtuh

Abstract

Decision support system is a combination of individual intelligence sources with the ability of components to improve the quality of decisions. Decision support systems are also computer-based information systems for management decision-making that deal with semi-structured problems. With a decision support system makes it easier for us to determine the decisions for majors of high school students. Because the determination of this department is very influential with the future of students. So from that the author conducted this study to facilitate students in determining majors. So that these two methods can be compared and find the best results in making decisions about the majors of high school students.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal. (1) Analysis of the influence of Commitments on employee performance, (2) Work Environment on employee performance, (3) Work Discipline on employee performance, (4) Analysis of the Effect of Commitment, Work Environment and Work Discipline and simultaneously on Employee Performance. The population of this study were all employees at the Population and Civil Registration Office of West Pasaman Regency, amounting to 58 people. Samples were taken from all populations, namely 58 people. The analysis method uses multiple regression analysis. Research Results obtained 1) Commitment variables, work environment and work discipline simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the performance of the Civil Registration and Civil Registration Service Office of West Pasaman Regency. The contribution of commitment variables, work environment and work discipline to employee performance is 51.6%, while the remaining 48.4% is influenced by other variables not included in the scope of this research. 2. Commitment variables, work environment and work discipline partial has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the Civil Servants and Civil Registration Offices of West Pasaman Regency

Abstract

On the basis of preliminery field observatioan, the researcher noticed that the head of STISIPOL Imam Bonjol Padang was neither administrativel not academically capable to manage the institution. This condition may not continue should the STISIPOLwant to change institution to a better and modern academic human resource. The researce put its focus on how the head of STISIPOL behaved in the process of decision - making, one of the key aspect of management. The specific research question read follow, a). how the head of STISIPOL Imam Bonjol Padang behavedin decision making, b). what types of reactions of response were given by the academic and administrative staff toward leadership behaviour, c). what problems or handicaps were faced by the head of STISIPOL. This research was conducted by applying qualitative approach. In conclusion the research dare to say that it will be very hard to for STISIPOL Imam Bonjol Padang to change and improve unless the inner structure of personnel is revitalized including the change in the policy of academic staff recruitment.

Web design Ordering Wedding Organizer Services at Youzhie Bride aims to make it easier for the public to obtain information on ordering wedding services (online) that were previously known from the mouth of the mouth so that they can save time, here I make it easier for people to order online so they can be efficient and effective . This final project can help in building an online ordering system. The design system in making websites Ordering Wedding Organizer Services at Youzhie The bride was developed using several software namely xampp, Notepad ++, Server which is a combination of Web Server, PHP and MySQL
