Abstract

PT. PabrikEsSiantar is a factory that produces bottled drinks. As an industry which is also a labor-intensive industry where there are many manual material handling activities carried out by workers. The large number of manual material handling jobs is feared to cause musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), namely complaints in the parts of the skeletal muscles that a person feels ranging from very mild complaints to very pain arising from awkward postures by the body when working. This research method uses the Quick Exposure Check method, which is the assessment by combining the assessment from the perspective of the researcher based on the observed posture of the worker and based on the assessment by the worker. Then recapitulate the questionnaire data in the QEC score sheet and determine the value of the exposure score, the score obtained is 45 - 53 with an exposure percentage of 50 - 58%, so further research and changes are needed. The proposed work posture improvement design is suggested to pay attention to risk factors, especially the back so as not to bend over

Abstract

One of the points stated in the Montreal and Kyoto protocol (1897 & 1997) is the elimination of the use of R-22 refrigerant (HCFC-22) and changing it with environmentally friendly refrigerants. The alternative is hydrocarbon refrigerants, which have been known since the early 1920s in refrigeration technology with other natural working fluids such as ammonia and carbon dioxide. One of the hydrocarbon refrigerants used in this study is Musicool (MC), which is produced by Pertamina's Processing Unit III Plaju. The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of electrical energy consumption of AC Split 1 PK using 3 types of freon, namely R32, R410A, and MC22. The variables measured in this study were the working pressure of the refrigerant at the intake side of the compressor, voltage, electric current, and the testing time for 1 hour. Based on the analysis, it is obtained that the average split AC electricity consumption using freon R32 is 711.85 W, using R410A freon is 746.17 W, and using MC22 freon is 429.80 W. 301.85 kJ / kg, using R410A freon of 206.77 kJ / kg, using MC22 freon of 349.16 kJ / kg. The COP and EER AC Split values ​​are average using the R32 freon the COP value is 3.71 and the EER is 12.64, using the R410A freon the COP value is 3.55 and the EER is 12.09, and using the MC22 freon the COP value is 6.14 and EER of 20.94.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of differences in welding current by performing a Tensile test in order to obtain the values ​​of elastic modulus, strain, reduction and stress. In this study, the material used is the lowest carbon steel with a thickness of 10mm. The welding process is a metallurgical process for binding metal alloy joints which are carried out in a liquid state. From the meaning of this research, it is explained that the notion of welding is a local connection of a metal rod joint where heat energy is used either from the heat source of electricity or a gas burning flame.The material to be examined will be given a variation of welding current of 100Amper, 130 Amper and 160 Amper, which will be welded with a SMAW welding machine using E6013 electrodes with a diameter of 3.2 mm. the method used is the comparative testing method, so that the difference in tensile strength can be found in the three specimens with different welding currents. From the research conducted, the highest tensile strength results were obtained with the number 382.81 MPa on the 130 ampere specimen material. 160 ampere specimen with a yield of 341.94 MPa. And the lowest is a specimen of 100 amperes with a number of 309.28 MPa

Abstract

Clean water is one of the primary needs for human life, the need for clean water in a building is an essential tool that the building management must take into account, and so this is an aspect of what the residents are concerned about. With the pumps specs used as input which is the speed of the motor = 2980 (Rpm), The level od sudu = 5 mm, and the level of shaft (S45C) = 58 Kg/ .

UD.Subur Jaya is an UMKM engaged in processingwood into frames and other appliances that process wood into cabinets, doors, windows, chairs and tables. Input control that has not been maximized due to erratic demand from consumers causes prodcutivity to fluctuate every month which causes problems on the production floor at UD.Subur Jaya. Therefore, an approach was taken using OMAX (Objective Matrix ). By calculating all the related inputs on the production floor, it is produced that in the month.

Abstract

Electrical energy is one of the quantities of energy in the form of electricity that is used to carry out a business, for example to turn on lights, cool a room, heat water, cook and so on. Electrical energy is rarely measured or calculated so it is rarely known how much electrical energy has been used. Generally, there are only measuring instruments for measuring voltages and currents or amperes. Energy is the product of current, voltage and time or power multiplied by time. The only energy measurement tool is the PLN kwh meter. However, the kwh meter is difficult to monitor because it is accumulative and cannot be reset to 0. So it is difficult to use it as a measure of electrical energy. This design uses Arduino Uno 328 to process the input signal from the voltage sensor and the ACS 712 sensor. The voltage sensor functions as to measure voltage. and the ACS 712 sensor serves to measure current. Then the results of the measurement data and calculations can be viewed on the LCD. Abstract

Currently, the use of renewable energy is unavoidable and is encouraged to exploit it on a large scale with the aim of minimizing the use of fossil energy. Fossil energy that is getting depleted and non-renewable can only be used as backup energy when new renewable energy is being developed because renewable energy still has many weaknesses and shortcomings. Renewable technology in the form of PLTS. PLTS converts sunlight energy into electrical energy. Electrical energy is stored in the battery. The result of the conversion that has become DC electricity is then regulated by the Buck-Boost Converter. PLTS Energy Utilization is offered technology for setting up an Arduino microcontroller charger, namely knowing whether or not the charger system is active. When the battery is full, the current will be stopped. And if the battery charge is empty then the battery load cannot be used. To stabilize the voltage into the battery used Regulator LM317. To regulate the input voltage remains constant by regulating the voltage. If the input voltage is too low below 12V DC then the regulator will increase it and if the voltage is too high the regulator will lower it where the regulator output voltage will be compared to the reference voltage, namely the setpoint voltage if the voltage is stable. The voltage is set to reach 12-14V DC. Battery also emits electrical energy to the Arduino Uno 328. To read the current and voltage from the solar panel through the Arduino Uno, see the LCD.

Abstract

The development of electronic technology especially with regard to automatic control is increasing in line with the development of the science and the automation of this automatic control technology is applied to the different electronic devices used daily to further assist in human work, However many things the current remote control system still has a shortage of people having to use a cost report. such as a pulse or a packaged Internet data currently used using a gateway text or the Internet. For the time being, automatic designs in remote control systems that use modulation frequencies work on radio frequencies, 4.333 MHZ. Which enables it to turn on and off electronics that are commonly used in everyday life. Examples: fans, water pumps, and lights. This device activates the bluetooth using a smartphone which a frequency of hc-12 will read then be processed and received by arduino. With this deleted design, the prototype of the remote control system, made possible by artificial androids to shut down and activate the home smart electronic devices.

Abstract

The development of increasingly modern science and technology makes competition between UMKM increasingly tight along with the number of new competitive companies that have sprung up in the same industry. One of the industries that continues to grow and has fierce competition is the pharmaceutical industry, namely the pharmacy. Pharmacy Samudra is a trading company engaged in the sale of medicines. In the field of inventory, where at this pharmacy, no method has been applied in the planning process for medicine supplies, thus allowing for a shortage of stock (stock out) or excess stock (over stock) of inventory. Based on the problems above, the writer will examine the planning of medicine supply at the Samudra Pharmacy using the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) method. The results of this study for medicine with the most marketing size, namely ordering once for Betablock medicine of 70 boxes with a frequency of ordering 5 times, with Safety Stock for Betablock medicine is 131 boxes. And for the highest total cost, Cardisan medicine with total medicine costs Rp 5.512.125.

Abstract

Solar cells can be used in various areas with high enough sunlight sources. The solar power plant (PLTS) provides voltage for the solar charge controller to charge the battery voltage for the inverter input. At this time to make the house can be monitored remotely to turn on and off electrical loads and security in the house due to fire, one of which comes from leaking gas. The solar power plant (PLTS) built for smarthomes and PLC control provides a voltage of 13V to 22V for the solar charge controller to charge the battery voltage up to 12V DC for the inverter input to 220V AC. The IoT concept is a concept that is currently being developed. Almost everyone needs the internet, and by using the internet, to find out the parameters to be measured, the ZMPT101B voltage sensor and the SCT013 sensor are used to measure the current for PV mini-grid monitoring using the blynk application on smartphones wherever we are as long as we are connected to the internet network, and then to process data used Nodemcu. In monitoring the lights at home, which usually uses a switch, it is no longer needed so it uses a PIR (Passive Infra Red) sensor and can also be used in the Blynk application to turn the lights on and off automatically. Not only always preparing a fire extinguisher, the house will also be installed with a gas sensor M1-6 to detect gas cylinder leaks and an IR Flame Detector KY-026 Fire Sensor to detect a fire, which will increase the level of security in the house which can be monitored from the blynk application. Which usually also uses a key on the door of the house, will be replaced with a door lock solenoid and an RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) sensor to automatically lock and open the door to the house using an access card and the blynk application, and to control the fire sensor and gas sensor. PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) Outseal Nano V.4. This tool has been tested and works as expected.
