Abstract

Students as learning agents and seekers of knowledge need to be encouraged to explore their potential, including in aspects of hard skills and soft skills. This research focuses on building a Decision Support System (SPK) with the Weighted Product (WP) method to determine the best students. Improving students' future existence depends not only on the excellence of hard skills, but also the balance of soft skills. The research involved four journals related to SPK student selection, and WP was chosen as an evaluation method. The research process begins with literature collection and system design, including design procedures, system usage, relationships between tables, use case diagrams, and WP method flowcharts. The implementation of the system includes a login page, input of criteria and alternative values, and the process of calculating student rankings. WP gives an accurate ranking, with Alternative 9 (Rifai) as the best student. Testing shows a high degree of accuracy between manual results and system results. This DSS provides an objective evaluation of student achievement, with the potential for further development related to data integration with academic systems and user interface improvement. The conclusion of this study is that SPK with the WP method can provide student rankings efficiently and accurately, helping to support decision making related to the selection of the best students. Further development suggestions involve feature enhancements, data maintenance, and further integration with academic systems to improve system reliability.

Abstract

Promoting higher education institutions is a crucial element in increasing the number of new student enrollments. However, these promotional activities often lack a foundation in relevant data. This research aims to elucidate the demographics, study programs, and preferred admission pathways through the application of business intelligence (BI) on the data of new student admissions at IAIN Pontianak. By analyzing data using business intelligence software, the results encompass information on the demographic characteristics of applicants, their school and regional origins, and the admission pathways. Prospective new students are predominantly female, aged 18-20 years, mainly hailing from the city of Pontianak, Kubu Raya Regency, and Mempawah Regency. Lokal 2 and UM-PTKIN admission pathways are the most sought after, with the Sharia Business Management program being the favorite. It was found that BI is effective in analyzing new student admission data, providing a foundation for improving higher education promotion strategies, and the analysis results can be accessed through a dashboard. This research concludes that BI is effective in analyzing the demographic characteristics of new student applicants, enabling institutions to better direct promotion strategies. The Metabase software meets the BI needs of higher education, providing efficient information that can be used for evaluation and planning future promotion strategies.

Abstract

There are many types of businesses in Indonesia that attract people's attention and increase competition by creating creativity in various business ideas. The Indonesian cosmetics and skin care company is a Y.O.U brand dedicated to the beauty of Indonesian women, produced according to people's needs and current trends. The task of data mining is to collect or group large amounts of data based on various predetermined criteria. Cluster data mining is ideal for algorithms that can process data more efficiently, namely the K-Means algorithm. The K-Means Clustering algorithm is a method used to combine several data streams to analyze data and determine the number of Clusters that have different characteristics from other data. The expected result is to have a group of data that will influence the sales strategy in the next period so that you can find out which items are best sold and which items are less popular with customers. This decision will minimize the losses previously received by PT Lintas Mandiri primarily on YOU cosmetics. With this data, it can be grouped into 3 clusters based on the level of sales of a type of product. Cluster 0 consists of 8 product items that have the best selling level, while in Cluster 1, which includes 12 product items in the best-selling category, and Cluster 2, which consists of 5 items. Products that are not selling well in this Cluster show a steady or even decreasing trend from month to month with the Centroid value indicating the unpopularity of these products in the market.

Abstract

HU Kabar Priangan is a company engaged in the media sector that has a great responsibility in presenting information both in the form of newspapers and online articles and advertising services. This company has related problems in borrowing goods still using a semi-manual system using spreadsheets for managing goods, borrowing, and returning goods. Semi-manual recording using spreadsheets in a company has obstacles and weaknesses including can result in data errors, no history, and can lose information. The system that is run has not fully helped the work, because the need for effective and efficient data and can be needed (availability) has not been met. With these problems, this research will be designed and built a web-based goods lending information system that functions to facilitate the management of goods data. With the goods lending information system, the process of borrowing, returning, monitoring goods, and searching for the status of goods can be easily and quickly carried out. The system development method used in this study uses the Waterfall method, and for system design uses UML (Unified Modeling Language). The final result of this research is a web-based goods lending information system using the Laravel 9 framework and MySQL as a database that can facilitate the process of managing goods lending

Abstract

BMS MART is a company engaged in the sale of various herbs that have been listed in BPOM. The recording process and salary calculation applied by BMS MART are still manual and not modern, which uses handwriting methods and manual calculations. This takes a long time and is less efficient for employees and the owner. In solving this problem, the author designed a web-based employee payroll information system using laravel. In its design, the author uses PHP as its programming language with a MySQL database, using the Waterfall Method, and using the Laravel Framework. With the design that the author has made, it is hoped that the company BMS MART will gain convenience in the process of recording, calculating, and reporting employee payroll and become more efficient and faster

Abstract

An employee is someone who works or has worker status in an organization, company orgovernment agency. This individual has the responsibility to carry out the duties and obligations that havebeen determined by the rules and policies that apply in the workplace. Meanwhile, leave is a period of timewhere an employee is given permission not to come to work for a certain period of time. Providing leave is aprivilege given to employees as part of company policy or applicable employment regulations. The researchmethod used to create a web-based leave application system with research method that can be used is thesystem development method. This method involves steps such as requirements analysis, system design,implementation, testing, and evaluation. With research inti the development of a web based leave managementrecorded in a systematic and perfectly monitored manner in a database.

Abstract

This research proposes designing a website-based daily inspection application for IT devices to improve information technology management at the Tasikmalaya Islamic Hospital. The research method uses a System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach which includes feasibility studies, planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing, implementation and maintenance. In the analysis stage, user needs are identified and application features are described, while system design includes architecture, user interface, and database structure. Implementation involves the use of specific programming languages and frameworks with thorough testing focused on sustainability, security, and reliability. The application was tested and implemented at the Tasikmalaya Islamic Hospital, with test data analyzed with quantitatively method. Research ethics includes consent and data security. The research schedule is prepared in detail. It is hoped that this research can make a positive contribution in improving the management of hospital IT equipment and become a reference for similar research in the future

Abstract

The need for identification of spice plant species is very important to achieve accuracy levels accurately and efficiently. Previous researchers have demonstrated the success of this CNN method in classifying various spice plant species. However, only three species of Zingiberaceae (also known as ginger) spice plants were studied in this research: ginger, turmeric, and galangal. There has not been much previous research on these plant species. To ensure label accuracy, this study compares the performance of two popular CNN optimizers, Adam and SGD. A dataset of spice plant images obtained from Internet websites was then diagnosed by experts. To prepare for training the CNN model with VGG19, the image data is pre-processed. The pre-trained VGG19 architecture is used as the basis for spice plant classification. The classification accuracy is used to evaluate the performance of the model. The results of the study show that in the classification of spice plants, the use of the pre-trained VGG19 architecture is used, providing research results that also show that the architectural CNN method successfully classifies Zingiberaceae spice plant species. Consistently, the use of Adam's optimizer resulted in higher accuracy than SGD. This suggests that Adam's optimizer may be more effective in optimizing VGG19 model parameters for spice plant classification

Abstract

A bicycle workshop is an important place for bicycle users for maintenance and repairs. However, workshops often face challenges in providing effective and efficient services, such as managing customer data, handling repairs, bookkeeping, and product sales. This research focuses on developing an Android-based information system at Mas Ung Home Bike Workshop, a bicycle workshop in Cikarang, West Java. Based on interviews with the workshop owner, several issues were identified with the current application, such as the complexity of operating the previous application, the lack of documentation features in the form of photos and videos before and after repairs, and the need for invoices containing the workshop's bank account number. This research uses the waterfall software development model, which includes requirement analysis, system and software design, implementation and unit testing, integration and system testing, as well as operation and maintenance. The result of this research is an Android-based bicycle workshop service application with features such as transaction recording, repair reports including photos and videos, transaction reports, and invoice printing with the workshop owner's account name and number. With an integrated information system, it is expected to help improve the service at Mas Ung bicycle workshop.

Abstract

The Smartphone Sales Information System is a management information system that produces variousinformation that can be useful to support sales activities at Erik Phone. The manifestation of the development ofthis Smartphone Sales Information System is the creation of a website that is able to represent the informationsystem designed as a whole. The resulting smartphone sales website is able to manage and display informationon various types of smartphones on offer along with price lists, smartphone brands, colors, purchase methods,transactions and sales reports. In analyzing and designing this new system, the author used the systemdevelopment method. Meanwhile, to carry out the analysis process, the author uses context diagrams, DFD andERD. This system was created using the PHP, Jquery and Mysql programming languages. From this analysisand design, a new web-based smartphone sales information system was produced which can help Erik Phonecarry out the smartphone promotion and sales process effectively and efficiently
