Abstract

The struggle for power is actually not a new problem in Indonesian politics. Being the general chairman of the party is not only a determinant of various party policy decisions, but has a strong opportunity to be nominated in the presidential election or enter into important structures in Indonesian government institutions. So, it is not something new anymore if the position of the general chairman of the party is a position that is always contested by the party elite. Regarding news, the media must have their own way of framing news. This study aims to find out how Kompas.com frames the news of the Extraordinary Democratic Party Congress for the period 5–6 March 2021. This study uses a constructivist paradigm with a qualitative approach. The research method used in this study is Robert N. Entman's framing analysis, which has two major dimensions, namely selection of issues and highlighting aspects and has four framing elements, namely define problems, diagnose causes, make moral judgments, and treatment recommendations. The results show that Kompas.com places the news of the Extraordinary Democratic Party Congress into political issues. This can be seen from the selection of sources and statements made, as well as the highlighting of the aspects shown, Kompas.com shows the contra side of Moeldoko as the Presidential Chief of Staff, then there is Marzuki Alie who is the Secretary General of the Democratic Party and Darmizal as the Deputy Chair of the Democratic Party Supervisory Commission. Moeldoko was placed as an actor causing problems that have caused a public uproar.

Abstract

In business communication there are many strategies in promotion, one of which is the promotion mix. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Promotion Mix on Brand Awareness on websites, social media, and Pricebook's YouTube channel. Pricebook is a startup company engaged in technology and information. Pricebook conveys information about product availability, online and offline stores, which are packaged in a unique and practical website. The method used is to conduct a survey that will be given to the object of website visitors as well as viewers and subscribers of Pricebook YouTube that will be studied. This research design aims to find the effect between two variables, namely Variable (X) is the Promotion Mix, while the variable (Y) is Brand Awareness. Respondents involved in this study were website visitors and Pricebook YouTube viewers/subscribers who had visited or watched Pricebook 3 times or more as many as 97 people. The sampling technique used non-probability sampling with the sampling technique method using purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate the Promotion Mix which consists of Advertising and Public Relations has a significant effect with 0.739 > 0.05, a strong correlation with a value of 0.686 and a positive effect of 47% on Brand Awareness which is supported by survey results and statistical calculations using SPSS software, in other words some of Pricebook's Brand Awareness is influenced by the Promotion Mix.

Abstract

Communication has various types, one of which is organizational communication. A person or institutional member can be influenced by his motivation through the communication of an organization. In this study, the motivation in question is learning motivation. The purpose of this research is how big or strong the influence of organizational communication on the learning motivation of students at LPK Chakra Dian Utama. LPK Chakra Dian Utama is a Japanese Language Job Training Institute (LPK) from basic level to attainment of N3 level and equips the institution with all necessary Japanese language learning facilities, in accordance with international requirements. The design of this study aims to find the effect between two variables, namely Variable (X) is Organizational Communication while Variable (Y) is Learning Motivation. Respondents involved in this study were 80 students and alumni of LPK Chakra Dian Utama graduates. The sampling technique in this study uses total sampling. The results of this study indicate that organizational communication has a sufficient influence on the learning motivation of students at LPK Chakra Dian Utama. The correlation coefficient between the two variables is 0.789. This shows that the Organizational Communication Mix on Learning Motivation has a sufficient relationship because it is between 0.60-0.799. While the coefficient of determination is 0.623, which means that 62% of Organizational Communication variables affect Learning Motivation, while the remaining 38% is influenced by factors not found in this study. The final result of this research is that organizational communication has an effect of 62% on learning motivation.

Abstract

In business communication there are many tools in doing marketing, one of which is the Marketing Mix. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the Marketing Mix and Customer Loyalty in the DetailBOX Autodetailing Center company. The increasing lifestyle of the Indonesian people who use cars and motorbikes as a means of transportation in their daily lives, and supported by the increasing number of vehicle sales every year, therefore people need a service for the maintenance of their vehicles. Respondents involved in this study were customers from DetailBOX which were taken as many as 125 respondents. By meeting the criteria for the sample, the respondents are customers who have used DetailBOX services continuously. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with the Convenience Sampling technique method. And the data is then processed using the SPSS version 25 program. The results of this study indicate that the Marketing Mix does not have a strong relationship with Customer Loyalty because it is evident from the results of the Pearson Correlation X and Y analysis that has a value of .134 . However, several dimensions of the Marketing Mix have a relationship with Customer Loyalty, because several dimensions have a sig value. below 0.05 consists of dimensions of product, place, person and physical evidence, which are individually proven value for Customer Loyalty at the DetailBOX Autodetailing Center Company.

Abstract

Kencan dapat dilakukan melalui media internet yang biasa disebut dengan kencan daring. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengulas realita tentang kencan daring seperti motivasi pengguna, proses hubungan, dan bahaya dalam kencan daring. Metode yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah studi pustaka dengan pendekatan naratif terhadap artikel-artikel yang membahas mengenai penggunaan aplikasi kencan daring. Seseorang melakukan kencan daring untuk mendapatkan teman, pasangan, partner seksual, atau sekedar karena penasaran. Sebelum menjalin komunikasi dengan orang lain, pengguna terlebih dahulu mempersiapkan profil mengenai dirinya sesuai dengan keinginannya. Perkenalan dimulai dengan memilih calon pasangan sesuai dengan kriteria yang diharapkan. Hubungan kemudian dapat berlanjut di aplikasi lain yang lebih pribadi bahkan bisa berlanjut pada pertemuan tatap muka. Pada beberapa kasus hubungan yang terjalin dalam kencan daring dapat berlanjut pada hubungan yang lebih serius di dunia nyata. Terdapat beberapa bahaya yang dapat terjadi dalam kencan daring seperti penipuan, pemerasan, dan pelecehan seksual. Upaya menghindari dampak negatif tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan melakuan pencarian informasi baik secara pasif, interaktif, maupun aktif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kategori bentuk dan fungsi tindak tutur direktif dalam Podcast Youtube Deddy Courbuzier dengan Judul Pelakunya Anak Kecil, Satu Tahun Direncanakan, Belajar Di Sosmed !. Data penelitian ini tidak bisa terkumpul hanya dalam satu kali menyaksikan Podcast Youtube tersebut. Setelah itu penulis menonton video tersebut dengan tteliti agar memudahkan penulis dalam mentranskripsikan tuturan direktif Deddy Courbuzier yang terdapat dalam Podcast Youtube. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik pengunduhan dan simak-catat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah mengidentifikasi, menganalisis, memaparkan, dan menyimpulkan. Penelitian ini berjumlah 36 data, dan dari 36 data tersebut masuk dalam enam bentuk Tindak Tutur Direktif. 1) direktif permintaan 5 data, 2) direktif pertanyaan 14 data, 3) direktif perintah 1 data, 4) direktif larangan1 data, 5) direktif pemberian izin 8 data, 6) nasehat 7 data. Selain bentuk, ada juga fungsi tindak tutur direktif dalam Podcast Youtube tersebut. Fungsi menyatakan, meminta, mengajak, menyelidiki, mengisyaratkan, membatasi, menyetujui, menganugerahi, menasehati, memperingati dan menyarankan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis penggunaan tindak tutur direktif dalam dialog novel Negeri Van Oranje karya Wahyuningrat, Adept Widiarsa, Annisa Rijadi, dan Rizki Pandu Permana. Metode atau teknik penelitian yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis simak dan catat. Selain itu, penulis menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dalam menyusun langkah kerja dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat 15 tuturan tindak tutur direktif dalam dialog novel Negeri Van Oranje karya Wahyuningrat, Adept Widiarsa, Annisa Rijadi, dan Rizki Pandu Permana. Temuan penggunaan tindak tutur direktif dalam dialog novel Negeri Van Oranje yaitu (1) tuturan memerintah terdapat 3 tuturan (20%), (2) tuturan memohon terdapat 2 tuturan (13,33%), (3) tuturan menasihati terdapat 2 tuturan (13,33%), (4) tuturan melarang terdapat 2 tuturan (13,33%), (5) tuturan mengajak terdapat 3 tuturan (20%), dan (6) tuturan meminta terdapat 3 tuturan (20%).

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tindak tutur perlokusi pada kolom komentar akun gosip Lambe Turah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk tindak tutur perlokusi dan maksud dari setiap tindak tutur perlokusi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan yaitu teknik simak dan catat. Objek yang dikaji adalah kolom komentar berupa ujaran kebencian dalam akun gosip Lambe Turah. Adapun instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah penulis itu sendiri. Dari temuan ditunjukkan ada tiga jenis tindak tutur perlokusi diantaranya yaitu tindak tutur perlokusi representatif sebanyak 5 temuan data, tindak tutur perlokusi ekspresif sebanyak 15 temuan data, dan tindak tutur perlokusi direktif sebanyak 13 temuan data.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the types of directive and assertive speech acts contained in the short story entitled Sleep Deprived by Charissa E. The data source in this research is the short story Sleep Deprived by Charissa E which was published on the short story site mu.com in March 2021 through a Pragmatic study. Speech Act. The research method uses qualitative methods that can be used to examine the objects studied naturally and as they are. In qualitative research, the task of the researcher is as a key instrument in collecting data which will later be studied and analyzed. The data collection technique used is observation followed by a documentation study. Documentation studies are carried out by analyzing pragmatic speech acts related to Directive, Assertive, Directive, and Commissive aspects. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there are 19 speech acts divided into 9 directive speech acts in the form of questions, 5 directive speech acts in the form of orders, and 5 assertive speech acts in the form of statements in the short story. Hopefully this research can be an alternative reference for other researchers who want to research pragmatic speech acts, especially about directive and assertive speech acts in short stories.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk dan makna tindak tutur ekspresif pada ‘Stand Up Comedy Kompas TV’. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu metode simak yang khususnya menyimak penggunaan tindak tutur ekspresif pada Stand Up Comedy Kompas TV pada Suci-4 dengan komik bernama Liant Lin. teknik data tersebut dilanjutkan dengan teknik catat guna mentranskrip bahasa lisan ke bahasa tulis. Pada teknik analisis data, terdapat tahapan berupa seleksi data, kode data percakapan, klasifikasi data, kelengkapan data, dan deskripsi data. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa data bentuk dan makna tindak tutur ekspresif dalam acara ‘Stand Up Comedy Kompas TV , Suci 4 dengan komika Liant Lin meliputi (1) mengucapkan terima kasih dan salam (2) memuji (3) merasa kesal (4) mengkritik (5) mengejek (6) merasa sedih (7) menyindir (8) merasa tenang. Meskipun terdapat tindak tutur ekspresif yang berkonotasi negatif seperti mengejek dan menyindir tetapi makna yang terkandung di dalamnya tidak serta merta bermakna negatif karena tindak tutur tersebut disampaikan dengan tujuan menghibur.
