Abstract

Aim of this research was to know: (1) Financial feasibility of lettuce farming on hydroponic system at Surgi Mufti sub-district, North Banjarmasin District, Banjarmasin city, (2) Payback Periode for lettuce farming on hydroponic system. The research conducted on April 2019. Type of the research was a case study research at lettuce farmer Surgi Mufti sub-district. Sample was taken by purposive sampling on lettuce farmer that make an effort on hydroponic system actively. Result of this research showed that lettuce farming with hydropinic system NFT (Nutrient Film Tecnique) w as f ea si bl e w it h NPV value Rp. 3.851.058,- Net B/C 1,52, Gross B/C 1,13, IRR 26,31%. Payback periode (PP) from investment that has been spent from lettuce farming with hydroponic system NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) was 2 years 11 months and 15days

Abstract

This research aims are: (1). Knowing the technical description of kale farming carried out by farmers; (2) knowing the costs, revenues, and benefits of kale farming; (3) knowing the economic efficiency of kale farming in Guntung Payung Village, Landasan Ulin Sub-district, Banjarbaru City. This research uses survey method with observation technique. The sampling method uses a simple random sampling. The population of farmers who cultivate kale is 112 people, then 25% of the total farmers in this village, 28 farmers are used as respondent farmers. The result of the research is that the average land area used by farmers is 0.13 hectares (2.46 wholesale) and the status of land ownership is property rights. The production an average of kale farming in Guntung Payung Village was 4,035.71 bunches/farmer or 31,043.92 bunches/hectare (1,018.93 kg/farmer or 7,83793ton/hectare = 7,837.93 kg/hectare). The average cost is IDR 928,021.49/farmer, the average revenue is IDR 4,075.720/farmer and the average profit is IDR 3,147,698.51/farmer. The economic efficiency or feasibility of kale farming in Guntung Payung Village is 3.68. This economic efficiency or R/C greater than 1 means that it is profitable for kale farming

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the coct, revinue and break even point of Cayenne pepper in Belangian villige, Aranio District. The method used in the reasearch is survey and observation method. The determination of the number of farmers using Porposive Sampling Method in order to obtain 98 sample farmers. The results of this study obtained an average production of 6955 kg/farmer. The average variable cost incurred by farmers in Cayenne pepper farming is Rp. 5.423.902/farmers. While the average fixed costs incurred by farmers is Rp. 72.269/farmer. So that the average total cost is Rp. 5.496.171/farmer. Break Even Point (BEP) revenue obtained is Rp. 1.129.203/farmer, Break Even Point (BEP) of the production volume obtained is Rp. 219.847/kg. And Break Even Point (BEP) of price is Rp. 24.999/farmer. From the value of BEP, is can be stated that the Cayenne pepper farming in Belangian villege has passed the BEP value, so that the farming has benefited and can be continued
