Abstract

Immoral acts are an extreme phenomenon and are very common in society. Immoral acts are an extreme phenomenon and are very common in society. The targets of victims are no longer only adults, but on the contrary, where the perpetrators are adults to children and adolescents. Of course, it is very sad considering that the perpetrators themselves are educated people and even have broad religious insight. The presence of this study aims to maximize preventive efforts when anticipating immoral acts that occur in formal educational institutions. As a characteristic of qualitative research, the data collection that is processed in this study is devoted to using library techniques and document recording. The data that has been obtained is then analyzed through qualitative descriptive techniques. The results of the analysis indicate that cases of immoral acts that occur in the formal education environment are still in the high category, which dominantly occurs in universities and islamic boarding schools, while in terms of the perpetrators of immoral acts themselves are dominantly carried out by teachers and lecturers. The triggering factors for immoral acts were recorded, including; The triggering factors for immoral acts were recorded, including; connectedness factor, biological factors, morality factor, education level factor or understanding, economic factor, social media factor and family condition factor. There are efforts that can be made in tackling the incidence of immoral acts according to the view of Hinduism, including by implementing severe sanctions (Criminal Law, Hindu Law and Customary Law) and actively holding religious counseling or socialization regarding these legal sanctions in formal educational institutions through Hindu-based organizations such as Parisada Hinduism, and deploying Hindu religious instructors.

Abstract

The era of Society 5.0 brought significant developments to the world of education.  Teachers and the community must be skilled and have adequate abilities in welcoming the era of society 5.0. Infrastructure, human resource development (HR), synchronization between the world of education and the use of technology, these four things have a major role in entering the era of sociaty that will create qualified graduates. This paper aims to provide an overview of learning using the Hindu concept in the Era of Society 5.0 in an effort to solve learning problems, increase student interest and motivation. This research uses a descriptive Qualitative research method because based on literature studies using literacy such as books, journals and other research. In this paper, it is described about 1) learning problems caused by external and internal factors, 2) in the Era of Society educators become mobilizers, have qualified abilities in the digital field, and think creatively, 3) Learning strategies according to Hindu concepts used by PAIKEM which are then elaborated with the Sad Darsana concept which can also be used as an alternative way to solve problems in learning, among others: Dharma Wacana Strategy, Dharmagītā Strategy, Dharma Tula Strategy, Dharma Yatra Strategy, Dharma Shanti Strategy, Dharma Sadhana Strategy.

Abstract

Religion is a concept of religious order between human and God. A religious attitude, of course, based on the scriptures, which always obeys what He commands and stays away from all the prohibitions. One form of religious attitude is seen in the worship of God Almighty. Hinduism as one of the religions in Indonesia, of course, has its own way of worshiping Ida Sang Hyang Widhi / God with what is contained in the teachings of the Hindu holy book, the Vedas. One of the holy places in Hinduism is the Pura. Based on the type of temple, there is what is called the Dang Khayangan Temple, which is a temple made to worship the greatness of God and to commemorate the services of holy people who have spread the teachings of Hinduism. Taman Sari Temple is one of the Dang Khayangan Temples located in Sandakan Traditional Village, Sulangai Village, Petang District, Badung Regency which is a temple that is trusted by the surrounding community as a holy place to worship God and a place to ask for success in studying. The purpose of this research in general is to provide information to the public in order to know about the magical religiosity of Taman Sari Temple in the Sandakan Traditional Village. In addition, this research also aims to contribute knowledge and insight, especially in science related to the magical religiosity of temples. The method used in this research is qualitative research. Sources of data used are primary data, namely conducting direct interviews with informants who know and secondary data, namely related library sources, techniques for determining informants using snowball sampling, and data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The result of this research is that the magical religiosity of Taman Sari Temple is used as a place to ask for fluency in studying and helping find a mate and is used as a series of pawiwahan ceremonies for the local community. Taman Sari Temple also has functions, namely 1) social function, Taman Sari Temple is used as a place for social interaction such as during piodalan ceremonies, meetings and other dialogues. 2) aesthetic function, Taman Sari Temple is a manifestation of the creativity of the local community such as the architecture of the temple building, reringgitan on banten, sacred chanting, to dance and percussion. In addition to its function, Taman Sari Temple also has a theological meaning, namely worship of God Almighty who manifests as Lord Shiva with the identity of Ida Nak Lingsir at Taman Sari Temple. So knowing and understanding magical religiosity can increase the attitude of trust and belief in God.

Abstract

Nyepi Day is celebrated by Hindus in Indonesia. In the Province of Bali, where the majority of the population is Hindu, not only in Sasih Kesanga (the ninth month of the Balinese calendar) implement Nyepi, but in several districts in the Province of Bali, the villagers carry out Local Nyepi which is coupled with various ritual/ceremonial activities. Lokasari Village is one of the villages in Sidemen District, Karangasem Regency, Bali Province. The objectives to be conveyed in this paper are (1). To find out the background of the emergence of the Local Nyepi tradition which was held in Lokasari Village. (2). To find out what is the basis of the implementation of Local Nyepi which is held in Lokasari Village. (3). To find out the similarities and differences between the implementation of Local Nyepi and Nyepi carried out by Hindus in Indonesia in general. (4). To find out the community's perception of Local Nyepi which was held in Lokasari Village. The methods used in this paper are: observation, interviews, and literature study. So that the results of the Ngusabha Ceremony which are written in Lontar Dharma Pamacul and Lontar Widhi Sastra and Local Nyepi are obtained because of the tradition of the Lokasari Village community that has been passed down from generation to generation (dresta desa), the similarity lies in the implementation of Catur Brata Penyepian and is based on Tilem, the difference is in the timing of the ceremony, the series of activities for the Nyepi ceremony, the Nyepi executive committee, and its objectives. The purpose of implementing Ngusabha and Local Nyepi in Lokasari Village is seen as a purification ceremony for Bhuana Agung and Bhuana Alit as well as an expression of community gratitude for the harvest that has been obtained by the community.

Abstract

HIV/AIDS is a global disease with an increasing number of events each year, especially in Laburunci Village, Buton Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, where a part of the population is migrants, so that they are at risk of HIV/AIDS. The public perception of HIV/AIDS in Laburunci village, which considers that the disease is a curse and is a disgrace for the suffering family. Efforts to improve public perception can be done by providing health education in the form of counseling with lecture methods and leaflet media which are still rarely performed in communities in Laburunci Village. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of HIV/AIDS counseling on community perception in Laburunci village, Buton Regency. This type of research is an experimental research design with one group pretest-posttest. This research was conducted on 4 September-4 October 2019 in Laburunci Village. Sampling using simple random sampling technique that is simple random sampling of 30 people. The results showed that the average perception score before counseling was 18.703 and increased to 25.37 after counseling. Wilcoxon sign rank test statistical test results obtained p value of 0,000 <α (0.05). The conclusion is the influence of HIV/AIDS counseling on community perception in Laburunci Village, Buton Regency.
