Abstract

Activities of disposal recidue mining contain of Mercury (Hg) acumulated from the citizen gold mining operation at Pelangan-Selindungan, directly throwing to river and streaming down to the sea, it can caused coastal enviromments pollution including coral reef ecosystem. The aim of the research for determining the heavy metal content of mercury (Hg) on coral reefs at the region Pelangan-Selindungan gulf Sekotong. This is a descriptive exploratory research that was taken at Pelangan-Selindungan gulf Sekotong and Gili Meno as a region control. AAS analysis of coral reef was conducted at Analytical Laboratory of Mataram University in May-August 2013. The result indicated that coral reefs at the gulf Pelangan-Selindungan had been contaminated but it still under the quality standard limits.

Abstract

Durian adalah buah yang banyak tumbuh di Indonesia. Biji durian adalah limbah yang belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal dan dapat digunakan sebagai bahan baku pembuatan bioetanol. Bioetanol merupakan salah satu jenis biofuel (bahan bakar cair dari pengolahan tumbuhan) disamping biodisel. Proses pembuatan bioetanol dilakukan dengan proses fermentasi dengan bantuan Saccaromices serevisiae. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pH dan jenis sampel yang paling berpengaruh pada proses pembuatan bioetanol. Penelitian dilakukan dengan sampel biji durian basah dan kering yang dihidrolisis dengan H2SO42,5% selama 3 jam pada suhu 70oC, kemudian diukur kadar glukosa reduksinya dan difermentasi dengan variasi pH (3, 4, 5, dan 6) selama 48 jam. Larutan fermentasi dimurnikan dengan destilasi dan diukur kadar etanol yang dihasilkan dengan spektrofotometer UV-Vis dengan λ 214 nm. Etanol dengan kadar 47,02% didapatkan dari sampel kering dengan pH 4

Abstract

This research aims to apply analysis correspondences in interpreting crimes that occurred in the Polresta Makassar Barat based on data obtained from local police agencies from July 2013 to July 2014. Correspondence analysis is a data analysis technique that is demonstrated through the rows and columns simultaneously from a contingency table bi-direction in low dimension vector. The variables involved in the analysis is a crime scene, time and age category. In Chi-Square analysis process obtained the result that there is no relation between crimes and age category. From the value the correspondence analysis between the crimes and a time of occurrence, obtained a value of inertia to the dimension of the first and second row are 74.10% and 24.30%. This means data obtained were able to explain the variability of the data amounted to 57% of total inertia. Based on the results of the output data plot between the crimes and times of occurrence can be explained that theft with violence and drugs tend to happen at 12:00-17:00 as for the theft of motor vehicles and heavy persecution tends to occur at 18:00-06:15.

Abstract

Kecerdasan adalah jumlah total dari mental dalam merencanakan interaksi individu dengan lingkungannya. Untuk memudahkan siswa belajar matematika sejak dini siswa harus dipersiapkan agar dapat merangsang dan mengembangkan kecerdasan yang dimiliki setiap peserta didik. Otak merupakan organ utama dalam mengambangkan kecerdasan.manusia, otak adalah massa protoplasma yang paling kompleks dan satusatunya organ yang sangat berkembang sehingga ia dapat mempelajari dirinya sendiri. Otak manusia mempunyai tiga bagian dasar yang bertanggujawab atas fungsi yang berbeda-beda yaitu: otak reftil, otak mamalia dan neokorteks. Matematika adalah suatu contoh bentuk dari kecerdasan manusia yang mesti diransang dan dikembangkan sejak dini.

Abstract

This study is explorative research with a qualitative approach, aims to reveal the profile of student's creativity in solving mathematics problems about visual-spatial problems based on logic mathematics intelligence. The subjects of the study were 4 students of SMAN 6 Mataram, 2 students with a high logic mathematics intelligence (KLT), and the other 2 students with a medium logic mathematics intelligence (KLS). Data were collected by conducting task analysis an interview, then analyzed by employing qualitative content analysis with a deductive approach. The result of the study reveals that 1) the students’ creativities in terms of product, the students with high logic mathematics (KLT) generally are better than the students’ with medium logic mathematics intelligence (KLS) in solving the same problem, 2) the students’ creativities in terms of the process: generating, planning, and producing, KLT using visual ability to imagine what will be they created first and then uses logic mathematics intelligence in solving the problem while KLS using mathematical logical intelligence first and then use the visual capabilities afterward to imagine what they will be created.
