Abstract

The entrepreneurial spirit is now needed. Through the entrepreneurial spirit, the students are expected to become skill and applicable in the daily life. Things that encourage the growth of the entrepreneurial spirit of the students are the curiosity competency, creative thinking and risk-taking attitude. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine whether there is a correlation and influence between the three competences toward the entrepreneurial spirit of the students, and to analyze how significant the influence of them. This study was implemented to 115 students of Lentera Harapan, Tangerang. Collecting data used questionnaire for the competences and entrepreneurial spirit by using SPSS statistical program assistance type 16. To solve the validity types, relationships, and influences is calculated by the formula Pearson and regression, and reliability using Cronbach Alpha. The result of this research showed that there is a correlation and influence between the curiosity competence (0.33), creative thinking (0.19), and risk-taking attitude (0.36) toward the entrepreneurial spirit of students. The three factors are influence toward entrepreneurial spirit as 0.422 and significant to develop the entrepreneurial spirit between the grade X and XI.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the differences in analytical thinking, mathematical communication skill and the conceptual mastery between the 7th-grade students who implement the rally coach learning model and those students who do not in the classroom. This research was conducted with nineteen participants for each class. This is a quantitative research using the weak experiment method with a static-group pre-test and post-test design. The instruments used were rubrics and test questions that had been tested for their validity and reliability. The n-gain value obtained was then tested to determine the differences between the two classes using the Mann-Whitney test. Analytical thinking hypothesis test results show the acquisition of the asymp. sig (2-tailed) = 0.005; mathematical communication skill with the asymp. sig (2-tailed) = 0,000; hypothesis testing of the post-test results of the conceptual mastery with the asymp. sig (2-tailed) = 0.002 and the n-gain test obtained the asymp. sig (2-tailed)iT which is less than 0.05. From the results of these tests, it can be concluded that there are differences in the students’ analytical thinking, mathematical communication skill and the conceptual mastery in the control and experimental classes.

Abstract

This research was conducted to develop the ability of beginner numeracy skills and fine motor skills of 4-5 year children by implementing the traditional Congklak game, which aims to describe the ability of beginner numeracy concepts and fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years after the implementation of traditional Congklak game. The method used in this research is classroom action research which is carried out in three cycles with 2 actions in each cycle. The results obtained were the children's beginner's numeracy ability on indicator 1 increased in cycle III to 33.75%. In indicator 2, it increases in cycle III to 45.00%. In indicator 3, it increases in cycle III to 38.75%. And the percentage results on the assessment of children's fine motor skills on indicators increased in cycle III to 18.75%. In indicator 2 it increases to 38.75%. In indicator 3 it increases to 28.75%. It can be concluded that the application of traditional Congklak game can develop beginner numeracy skills and fine motor skills in children aged 4-5 years.
