Abstract

This study aims to analyze the challenges experienced by seaweed farmers in Papan loe Village, Pajukukang District, Bantaeng Regency and the form of social class for seaweed farmers in Papan Loe Village, Pajukukang District, Bantaeng Regency. The problems experienced by seaweed farmers are related to various structural system challenges in the shape of the social class of seaweed farmers. The results showed that a person's social class obtained from seaweed farming activities was divided into 2 types, namely the upper class (punggawa) and the lower class (sawi). Punggawa is defined as a person who has his own capital, has his own land and has a workforce from other people and has thoughts on how to get a profit commensurate with his work as a seaweed farmer while mustard greens themselves are people who work under the hands of other people, those who are funded, or those who sell seaweed products at low prices to courtiers. Classification between upper class and lower class is also clear

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjawab permasalahan terkait dengan kegiatan illegal logging. Tingginya keanekaragaman hayati dan ekosistem di Taman Nasional Alas Purwo merupakan fakta yang tidak terbantahkan. Tetapi dengan maraknya illegal logging mengakibatkan kerusakan deforestasi yang dapat mengancam hilangnya kehidupan satwa dan tumbuhan. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma konstruktivisme sebagai landasan filosofis dengan desain studi kasus. Penentuan informan dengan teknik purposive, pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Sedang analisisa data menggunakan model interaktif. Berbagai upaya telah dilakukan dalam memberantas illegal logging, namun masih ada saja kendala teknis di lapangan. Oleh sebab itu artikel ini diharapkan dapat menjadi sumbangan pemikiran bagi para pemangku kebijakan, baik tingkat daerah maupun pusat.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the representation of Indonesian female’s beauty in Project Puan. This study uses a qualitative approach with purposive sampling as observation data collection techniques on the @projectpuanid’s Instagram account. The analytical method that used is Roland Barthes' semiotic theory. The results of the study show that this account represents women’s beauty differently as usually shown in media. Female’s beauty according to this account is hers who have diversity in physical form due to different racial factors.
