Abstract

This research is used to determine the factors that influence inclusive economic growth on the island of Sumatra. The analysis used is panel data regression analysis using panel data with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) method with time series data from 2012 to 2021 and cross-section data for ten provinces on Sumatra Island. The analysis results explain that the Labor Force Participation Rate does not affect the Inclusive Economic Development Index. Meanwhile, the average length of schooling, the poor population, and the Open Unemployment Rate significantly impact the Inclusive Economic Development Index.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of gender and fiscal decentralization on inclusive economic growth in West Nusa Tenggara Province. This research uses a panel data regression analysis method using the Fixed Effect Model approach to determine the influence of the dependent variable on the independent variable. As a result, the gender-based development index variable, namely the ratio of average years of schooling, has a positive and significant value; the ratio of life expectancy and the open unemployment rate ratio has a negative value and is not substantial; the variable of the degree of fiscal decentralization, namely the ratio of the degree of fiscal decentralization and the capital expenditure ratio, has a value positive and significant towards inclusive economic growth in West Nusa Tenggara Province.

Abstract

This study uses the Location Quotient (LQ) approach and Klassen Typology to examine Lampung Province's tourism potential. The goal is to discover economic sectors with growth potential, increase tourism's position in the province's economy, and contribute to the advancement of tourist science. According to an LQ analysis of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) from 2015 to 2020, Pringsewu Regency, Bandar Lampung City, and Metro City are prospective bases in the lodging, food and beverage, information, communication, and property sectors. Pesisir Barat Regency demonstrates potential in two fundamental areas and one non-basic one. This study is designed to inform policymakers, researchers, and stakeholders about the sustainable expansion of the Lampung Province tourism sector and further contributions to tourism.

Abstract

Micro and small industries play a crucial role in economics. This research aims to determine the magnitude of the roles of micro and small enterprises in labour absorption on the islands of Java. The data analysis method uses panel data analysis with a random-effects model. The type of data in this research is panel data, namely a combination of cross-section and time-series data covering six provinces on the islands of Java in 2017-2022. The research results show that the variables of several industries and the production value of micro and small enterprises have a positive and significant effect on labour absorption on the islands of Java.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of investment and economic growth on labor absorption and the impact of inflation in moderating investment and economic growth on labor absorption. This study uses quantitative methods and panel data in its calculations and includes data on ASEAN, which has the most significant level of industrialization. Using panel data and cross-section for 12 years and time series in 4 ASEAN countries, calculations using multiple linear regression analysis. The findings of this study show that in advanced industrial countries in ASEAN Region 4, economic growth has a positive and significant influence on labor absorption. In contrast, investment has a negative and significant influence on labor absorption. Inflation can also strengthen investment toward labor absorption with positive and important results, but inflation cannot moderate economic growth toward labor absorption with negative and insignificant results.

Abstract

Economic growth is a long-term problem for a country's economy, and it aims to achieve a better condition over a certain period. It can also be related to an increase in the production capacity of an economy. This research aims to see whether the workforce can strengthen the influence of exports on economic growth. Research Method The research uses time series data from the World Bank from 1993-2022. The test results show that exports and the workforce positively affect economic growth. Meanwhile, the MRA test results show that the workforce cannot moderate the influence of exports on economic growth.

Abstract

One of the goals of sustainable development is to reduce income inequality. This research aims to find out what variables influence the income gap. The research objects were 38 regencies/cities in East Java. The data used in the study is secondary data for 2019 - 2022 sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of East Java Province, which was taken using documentation techniques. The analytical tool used is panel data regression. The research results show that the average length of schooling positively and significantly affects income inequality. The Population Growth Rate has a negative and significant effect on Income Inequality. Economic Growth has a positive and significant impact on Income Inequality.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of economic growth, education, and minimum wages on community welfare. It uses secondary data for 2018 – 2022 from the Indonesian Central Statistics Agency (BPS). Data analysis uses quantitative panel data regression. The research results show that economic growth and the provincial minimum wage significantly influence community welfare, while education has an insignificant effect.

Abstract

This research aimed to understand the influence of unemployment, inflation, and per capita income on the ASEAN-5 poverty level. The analytical tool used is descriptive quantitative using secondary data originating from BPS, World Bank, and ASEAN Secretariat, namely time series data for 2001-2020 and cross-section data from 5 countries in ASEAN. The methodology used is to use the panel data regression method. The model used in this research is the Common Effect Model. From this research, the results showed that the Unemployment variable had a significant positive effect on the poverty level in ASEAN-5, the Inflation variable had a positive and insignificant impact on the poverty level in ASEAN-5, and the Per Capita Income variable had a negative and significant effect on the poverty level in ASEAN-5.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of the human development index (average years of schooling, open unemployment rate, percentage of poor people) on the inclusive economic growth index of Gorontalo Province. The Central Statistics Agency obtained the quantitative methodology, covering six districts/cities in Gorontalo Province from 2012-2021. This research uses a panel data regression analysis method using the Fixed Effect Model approach to determine the influence of the dependent variable on the independent variable. The findings of this research show that the human development index variable, namely the average number of years of schooling, has a positive and significant value, the open unemployment rate has a positive and insignificant value, the percentage of poor people has a negative and important value on the inclusive economic growth index.
