Abstract

Machines and equipment are one of the main strengths in supporting the continuity of the production process. To produce high-quality products, machines must be kept in optimal condition; therefore, appropriate systems and methods must be implemented. This thesis applies the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method to determine the OEE value of the spinning machine and identify the dominant factors affecting productivity in the spinning machine. Overall Equipment Effectiveness is a comprehensive measurement tool involving three main components: availability, performance, and quality. Meanwhile, the Six Big Losses can be used to identify the causes of problems in the spinning machine. Based on the OEE calculation, the average result obtained is 64.62%. Additionally, the Six Big Losses calculation reveals the factors affecting the effectiveness of the spinning machine, including idle and minor stoppages at 31.89%, reduce speed losses at 30.32%, equipment failure losses at 5.60%, setup losses at 2.34%, defect losses at 1.78%, and reduce yield losses at 0.06%. Keyword : Maintenance, spinning machine, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Six Big Losse

Abstract

The efficiency of a PDF-to-auto print sticker can be achieved by using a bar-code program application that offers a more accurate and efficient solution in printing PDF data on labels that allows for accurate, efficient labelling and indication of important information, such as the date and time of preparation and usage, to ensure that the data is not wrong when it reaches the customer.By using a barcode program application such as a sticker/template label, operators can deliver services faster, as well as back offices can track valuable assets and improve process efficiency. Printers, for example, have a wide range of advanced functions and performance in durable and space-saving designs. Thus, the efficiency of PDF-to-auto printing sticker can be achieved by using a barcode application that offers a more accurate and efficient solution in printing PDF data on labels, as well as a thermal transfer printer that has advanced performance and space-saving. Automation in Indonesian can be understood as the use of technology to perform work automatically, without much human intervention. Keywords: Efficiency, Automatic.Auto

Abstract

A door is a medium that is used as a way to enter or exit a room. To make a job easier, an effective and efficient tool is needed. Conventional doors usually consist of a lock housing and a lock saddle to open them. Generally , in offices, doors can be made more practical. The door will automatically open if there is a stimulus (physical energy ) that moves it. For example, when someone wants to enter the room, the door will automatically open. Doors like this can be designed using automatic controls. This automatic door system can be designed using automatic control combined with sensors and motors. In terms of input equipment, a PIR (Passive Infrared) sensor is used that can detect the presence of a human approaching the door. This PIR sensor will send a signal to the control system unit . The controller will send the processing data to the motor so that it can open the door and close automatically. Keywords: Detection, Passive Infrared Sensor , Automatic Door
