Abstract

Abstract. Batik is one of the popular fashions in Indonesia which has been acknowledged by UNESCO as original cultural heritage from Indonesia. In certain regional such as Purbalingga city, there is original written batik named Batik Limbasari that had been claimed by Purbalinga government as competitive commodity in Purbalingga. Batik Limbasari industry had undergone the rise and the fall through its development. Michael Porter introduced the theory Diamond Model of nation competitiveness consists of four segments which are firm’s structure, demand condition, supporting industry, and factor condition. Through this research, the author analyzed the current condition of Batik Limbasari industry. The research has an objective to give clear figure of the industry conditions and come up with some steps or applicative strategies recommended in order to develop the current industry. This research had been conducted in qualitative method by doing in-depth structured interview with the batik artisan, government, and PokDarWis Limbasari with the validation methods of triangulation to draw the repetitive results from the respondents. Prior to analyzing the internal and external environment of Batik Limbasari industry by doing environmental scanning, SWOT analysis, and Porter’s Diamond Model analysis. The result of this research revealed Batik Limbasari industry was still lack behind in several points. The difficulties to do regeneration combined with the low level of innovation decreased the interest of batik fashion especially to youth. Then, the demand condition was low due to the lack of marketing activities. The findings urged Batik Limbasari industry to develop its business process to be more innovative and responsive to market, also to strengthen the current domestic market. Abstract. The amount of women from teenagers until adults need to look beautiful and perfect, provide an opportunity for the beauty and care industry. This fact drives the various industry engaged in the field of beauty and care growth in Indonesia. Therefore, Everglam Aesthetic Center is one of the beauty industry that growing now. Everglam Aesthetic Center tagline is: It’s the Place to Get Your Infinite Beauty, which provide a comprehensive service to customers need to know which attributes more increase on the level of customers satisfaction and importance in order to provide better service quality. The purpose of this research is to measure, analyze and increase attributes service quality that related to customer satisfaction in Everglam Aesthetic Center and then propose some recommendations of improvement. The literature review that needed in this research is related to service quality, customer satisfaction, SERVQUAL, three-factor theory of customer satisfaction and revised importance – performance analysis.The result finding from the data analysis in Everglam Aesthetic Center, it can be concluded that customer are tend to be satisfied enough with the fulfillment of basic factor, excitement factor and performance factor using three-factor theory analysis. There are 14 attributes that classified into basic factor, 2 attributes that classified into excitement factor and 2 attributes that classified into performance factor. Abstract

Abstract.With the high amount population of Muslims in Indonesia which represnt the majority of its population, the demand towards halal products are relatively high. However, as a minority, non-Muslims that are given this circumstance where the condition demands high amount halal products may given no other choice than choosing halal product. This study aims to find out the factor influencing purchasing halal product in Indonesia from non-Muslim perspective and their actual purchase. To reach this objective, this study applies the Theory of Planned Behaviour as the basic theoritical approach. The result of this study shows that the non-Muslim’s subjective norms doesn’t have have direct effect toward halal purchasing intention while their perceived behaviour does not directly influence the actual halal purchase.  Keywords: : halal products, theory of planned behaviour, Indonesia

Abstract

Abstract. The Islamic banks has the good reputation in the country with the Muslim minority. Based on the analysis of vision and mission statement of banks in Indonesia. This study to prove the statement of Islamic banks and also to see the movement of customer-community efficiency of Islamic and non-Islamic banks from 2010-2016. The study focus on the growth of market share calculated from total deposits, if the growth of total deposits increases then market share will also increase. The Variable Return to Scale DEA is used to measure the customer and community efficiency of banks. Then the Mann-Whitney test is used to determine whether the customer-community efficiency Islamic banks differ from the non-Islamic banks in Indonesia. Analysis the movement of customer-community efficiency from Islamic and non-Islamic banks is based on the single multiyear DEA result, and the Spearman’s correlation used to analyze the correlation between banks efficiency and market share. The result of this research is, based on the DEA annual frontier results show that only in 2010 the efficiency of Islamic banks and non-Islamic banks is not significant difference. The Single multiyear results show that the customer-community efficiency of Islamic banks in 2010 to 2013 actually ups and downs. But in 2014-2016 the Islamic banks show a positive trend and begin to pursue non-Islamic bank but the efficiency is not as big as the non-Islamic bank's efficiency. Similar to non-Islamic banks, Islamic banks have the significant correlation between the customer-community efficiency and the market share, and also the correlation is strong. It means that good services of banks affect the market share. The result means that if the customer-community efficiency increases then the market share of banks also increases. Many factors can affect the market share of banks such as economic conditions, IT used by banks to serve the customers and the community, and accessibility.Keywords: Customer-Community efficiency, Islamic bank, Non-Islamic bank.

Abstract

Abstract. Mulyono is a Community based event organizing brand that is currently struggling to survive due to the fact that it is lacking any sort of income, but making a decision in Mulyono is not that simple, since it is known by the Brand Community (as their main customers) as a deeply independent brand. This research evaluates the performance of Mulyono’s events through its community while validating prospects of income, using descriptive analysis based on the 7P of marketing mix (Booms, Bernard, and Mary Jo, 1981) survey that is analyzed using frequency, factor and Logistic regression analysis. The results from this research shows that there is no significant influence towards the decision based on the regression model. Abstract

Abstract: There a different explanation between the fact and the prediction regarding to the Islamic Banking growth. The fact shows they were good even faster than Conventional Banking but  predicted slow-moving by Karim Business Consulting (KBC) because of small capital and capacity related with shareholder. This research is conducted to provides new insight for decision maker based on the result of shareholders’ efficiency difference between two types of bank, and correlation between shareholders and growth of bank. Methods: This research using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) to measure the efficiency since it is the common method, Spearman’s Correlation to analyze the correlation, Mann-Whitney test is applied to obtain statistically significant different. The data is annual report that consist of Balance Sheet and Income Statement of Conventional Banks and Islamic Commercial Bank during 2010-2016 that listed in Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK). Results:  The finding show there were a statistically significant different shareholders efficiency between two types of bank in 2010 and 2012. In 2010 Conventional Banks were more efficient and in 2012 shows the contrary. For both types of bank have a weak correlatin even very weak correlation for Conventional Banks. Conclusion: Islamic Commercial Banks shows a good progress as they starting to catch up the Conventonal Banks efficiency in 2012. Abstract

Abstract. Deputy of OJK also said that in 2015, heavy equipment leasing company has the highest level of non-performing financing (NPF) compared to other leasing with 4.34%. This research has an aim to find the determinants of NPF in a heavy-equipment leasing company. The method used is multi-linear regression and logistic regression. This research used two methods because the dependent variable could be interpreted using two ways, continuous variables and binary. The independent variables used are amount of financing, amount of security deposit, effective rate, tenor, percentage of financing, age of contract and coal price. For the dependent variable used is the NPF status itself drawn from the lessee’s maximum overdue days. The result for multi-linear regression shows amount of financing, tenor, percentage of financing and coal price have positive relationship with NPF. Also, age of contract has negative relationship with NPF. Logistic regression result shows that percentage of financing and tenor have positive relationship with NPF and age of contract has negative relationship with NPF. The result of this research aim to help the company in risk-profiling their lessee, also help the future research to broaden the research subject for this type of research. Keywords: determinants, heavy-equipment, leasing, NPF, repayment capacity

Abstract. People nowadays are familiar with the famous photo-sharing platform called Instagram. Known for its function to share your daily journey in form of photos, Instagram also become famous to create a person’s own branding and if someone’s lucky he can become another person’s inluencer and inspiration. Not to mention, one of emerging Instagram influencer, @nabilagardena, is currently expanding itself to another next level. With the purpose of inspiring and creating positivity in society, @nabilagardena will firstly aim to reach 1 million followers and increase on profit in a one-year time frame. Some programs and activities will be run to stimulate the growth of Instagram followers. The programs also strive to broaden @nabilagardena connection for keep on going and inspire a lot of people. The list of programs, which planned specifically already are brand-influencer collaboration, local and international travelling, beauty workshop, product giveaway, follower shout-out, and TV exposure. With the help of some stakeholders, the programs were already crafted each month and estimated to gain 655,610 followers to achieve the one million followers target. This business plan will use Rp150.000.000 as the initial capital from @nabilagardena year 2016 profit. After sort of calculation, @nabilagardena will have Rp754.800.000 of Gross Profit and Rp275.100.000 as the Total Expense. Abstract. Background - Competency is ability, knowledge, and skill of people in some condition. In the agricultural sector, competency can classify in technical skill, managerial skill, and entrepreneurial skill of farmers. The technical skill there are planting, fertilization, irrigation, control pest and diseases, harvesting and also post-harvesting. Other than technical skill, managerial skill also can categorize in planning, networking, and managing finances. Sales strategy also used for main concern in the gap of the crop. On entrepreneurial, there are taking a risk for farmers, opportunity in the cocoa field, creativity and also problem introspection. Objective - The study aim to analyze the competency of farmers and clustering farmers based on their skill. Method - The clustering of competency has objective to improve farmer’s skill and increasing the cocoa crop. So, because of that, cluster analysis is used to the research methodology. Result - The result of the method is farmers have 3 clusters. Each of cluster has different of characters. Cluster 1 is farmers with technical skill, managerial skill and entrepreneurial skill lower than other farmers in cluster 2 and 3. Cluster 2 are farmers that have high managerial skill than cluster 1 and cluster 3. And for cluster 3 are farmers with high competency in entrepreneur skill and technical skill but for the managerial skill is medium skill, almost same with cluster 1.. Conclusion - To increase crop in their farming, farmers must improve their competency. The solution that can do with the discussion and telling experience in farming. So, with this data, farmers could sharing, helping one and others to improve the farming competency of farmers without waiting for training from the government program or private organization that has the aim to help them. Keywords: competency, cocoa, technical, managerial, entrepreneurial, farmer, cluster.

Abstract. According to the Oxford Dictionaries, a leader is the person who leads or commands a group, organization, or country. A leader needs people [followers] who want to follow and listen to him. Being in charge of a group of people is not just about leading and commanding but it means inspiring people and encouraging them to become better ones. When a leader does those things, he could finally be called as a good leader. The researcher found a CEO who can be stated that he is a good leader based on that definition. The CEO of XXX Company was the one the researcher found. Although he had different cultural background he has been doing his job well and known for his leadership called Human Touch Management. Even if it was one of the factors that lead him to be successful in his career and helped the company to grow, there was not enough information about Human Touch Management. Therefore the researcher decided to study about it and get more information about HTM. In this research, the researcher discussed about what Human Touch Management (HTM) means and what leadership style it belongs to. In order to define what HTM is, the researcher had visited the XXX Company to observe, meet the CEO who created it, and did in depth interview. The researcher could define that Human Touch Management is the leadership style which thinks employees as the most important asset of company and it is human-oriented leadership. It requires leaders to study about human including psychological, physical, and mental factors. By studying about human, the leader can understand why and how human being behaves, thinks, and says. Then, it helps him to know how to develop himself and understand his employees better. Based on those outcomes, the researcher concludes that Human Touch Management can be stated it belongs to Principle-Centered Leadership and Servant Leadership.  Key words: Foreign Leader, Human Touch Management, Leadership, Leadership styles, and Shoe Industry.
