Abstract

School-Based Management is a breakthrough taken by the Government of Indonesia by giving autonomy to schools to manage and make decisions in a participatory manner to improve the quality of schools. This literature review research aims to know the participants’ characteristics in the articles, the type of measurement, and school-based managementdevelopment practices in madrasah. A total of 11 articles in 2003-2022 were used to carry out this literature review taken from the Google scholar database with the help of Harzing’s Publish or Perish 8 software for data mining. The article search was done online using the keywords “School-Based Managementin Madrasah” in both English and Bahasa. The literature review results show that the participants were school committees, principals, vice principals, teachers, administration staff, students, parents, academics, and school program managers. The studies' setting is mainly in Java Island. The measurements used in the quantitative studies were questionnaires, while interview guides were used in the qualitative approach. There were mainly four points that should be underlined from reviewed articles: (1) the principal's leadership is essential in SBM to achieve school goals, (2) the teacher as SBM supporting factor must have knowledge, skills, and attitudes as well as have sufficient insight and are willing to use their potential optimally, (3) encourage the participation of school members and the community to be directly involved in providing education, and (4) needs analysis should carry out at the outset to assist planning and managing resource availability.

Abstract

Praktek proses penentuan dan penetapan pendapatan sekolah amat penting dalam dunia manajemen pendidikan, oleh karena itu sangat urgent dalam mempraktekkan penentuan dan penetapan pendapatan sekolah supaya melangkah menjadi lebih baik, dalam riset ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pelaksanaan penentuan dan penetapan pendapatan sekolah. Metode yang digunakan riset ini yaitu memakai metode deskriptif pada pendekatan kualitatif. Dasar-dasar dalam Penetapan Pendapatan Pendidikan adalah : a) terdapat pembagian kekuasaan serta pertanggungjawaban secara jelas terhadap konsep manajemen dan organisasi, b) terdapat konsep akuntansi yang relevan terhadap implementasi anggaran, c) terdapat kajian dan analisa dalam penilaian kinerja organisasi (d) kemudian adanya dukungan. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa proses penentuan dan penetapan pendapatan sekolah negeri kwarasan 01, dengan melalui beberapa proses yang dilakukan yaitu : (1) merencanakan penyusunan pendapatan sekolah, (2) mendata sumber keuangan, (3) menyusun rencana anggaran pendapatan sekolah, (4) membukukan dan melaporkan keuangan sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran kepala madrasah dalam Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) dan pelaksanaan GLS di MTsN 4 Kota Surabaya. Metode yang digunakan ialah kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian ini adalah kepala madrasah, kepala perpustakaan, guru Bahasa Indonesia, dan siswa di MTsN 4 Kota Surabaya. Analisis datanya menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran kepala MTsN 4 Kota Surabaya dalam gerakan literasi sekolah, antara lain sebagai educator, manager, leader, dan motivator. Pelaksanaan gerakan literasi sekolah di MTsN 4 Kota Surabaya dilakukan dengan tiga tahapan yaitu pembiasaan, pengembangan dan pembelajaran. Dengan adanya peran kepala sekolah dan terlaksananya GLS di MTsN 4 Kota Surabaya diharapkan pimpinan semakin menyadari akan hak dan kewajibannya sebagai figure yang mampu melaksanakan gerakan literasi di satuan pendidikan yang muaranya dapat menumbuhkan budi pekerti siswa, sehingga jangka panjangnya diharapkan dapat menghasilkan siswa yang memiliki kemampuan literasi tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to get an overview of the implementation of EDM and E-RKAM in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Tanjungsari Banyudono. This study uses a qualitative method where all information obtained from observations, documents and interviews is described in the form of written narratives as findings in the field. The results of the study illustrate that the implementation of EDM and E-RKAM is going well. The stages passed are also in accordance with the guidelines from the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, namely forming a TEAM, conducting socialization, collecting data and information, discussing and setting the level of each indicator, filling out instruments available online or semi-online, the Madrasah Head approves the results of the EDM fields, send EDM filling results. The results of the EDM will be used as material for determining priority types of programs/activities in preparing plans for the improvement and development of madrasas as outlined in the E-RKAM. The benefits of implementing EDM and E-RKAM include: knowing the strengths, weaknesses and challenges that madrasas have, knowing opportunities to improve the quality of education, knowing the types of needs needed to improve the quality of education, knowing the level of achievement of madrasah performance, being able to identify priority programs/activities for improving madrasah performance.

Abstract

Teachers have an important role in children's self-development by providing various kinds of knowledge and skills. So teachers are required to prepare various abilities in carrying out education and guidance to students by encouraging them to be independent in reaching maturity. The teacher's role can use various ways to generate learning motivation in students by doing: a) giving points, prizes, competitions, ego-involvement, giving tests, knowing results, praise, punishment, desire to learn, interests, and recognized goals. According to Abraham Maslow "Motivation is constant, never ending, fluctuant and complex, and that it is an almost universal characteristic af particulary every organism state of affairs". This definition from Abraham Maslow is interpreted by Fudyartanto, namely "motivation is constant (fixed), never ending, fluctuating and complex, and it is a universal characteristic of every activity of organisms.Referring to the educational philosophy of Empiricism put forward by the British philosopher, John Locke (1632-1704), he was a realist who believed that education occurred through real (empirical) experience. In line with the expression experience is the best teacher (experience is the best teacher), the application of empiricism in education, that educators are optimistic about being able to shape children by providing the desired experiences. SD Muhammadiyah 11 Mangkuyudan Surakarta by using a qualitative approach, from the results of the study it was found that teachers had carried out their duties well but there were still factors inhibiting the learning motivation of grade VI students at SD Muhammadiyah 11 Surakarta including: Lack of student willingness to learn, Lack of attention from parents, Factors of educators, association, community environment.
