Abstract

Library security is an important factor for the continuity of library administration, without good security management, the library cannot guarantee that its users feel safe and comfortable in utilizing the library, and eventually the library is abandoned by its users. This study aims to describe security management at the Library of Semarang State University (UNNES) which is still in the old UNNES Library building. The method used is descriptive qualitative with observation and interview data collection techniques. The validity test uses technical triangulation, and data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing and conclusions. The results found were that the UNNES Library had implemented security features in the form of physical security and security management. Physical security includes placement architecture, building architecture, guards, equipment and exhibition security, while security management includes library material security, access security and surveillance cameras. Weaknesses found in the UNNES Library were that security policy procedures and plans had not been set forth in text form even though they had been implemented. Suggestions for UNNES Library is to be able to make security policy procedures and plans in the form of text that is approved by the leadership and can be a guideline for the library.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran kepala madrasah dalam Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) dan pelaksanaan GLS di MTsN 4 Kota Surabaya. Metode yang digunakan ialah kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian ini adalah kepala madrasah, kepala perpustakaan, guru Bahasa Indonesia, dan siswa di MTsN 4 Kota Surabaya. Analisis datanya menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran kepala MTsN 4 Kota Surabaya dalam gerakan literasi sekolah, antara lain sebagai educator, manager, leader, dan motivator. Pelaksanaan gerakan literasi sekolah di MTsN 4 Kota Surabaya dilakukan dengan tiga tahapan yaitu pembiasaan, pengembangan dan pembelajaran. Dengan adanya peran kepala sekolah dan terlaksananya GLS di MTsN 4 Kota Surabaya diharapkan pimpinan semakin menyadari akan hak dan kewajibannya sebagai figure yang mampu melaksanakan gerakan literasi di satuan pendidikan yang muaranya dapat menumbuhkan budi pekerti siswa, sehingga jangka panjangnya diharapkan dapat menghasilkan siswa yang memiliki kemampuan literasi tinggi.

Abstract

Perilaku pencarian informasi terjadi akibat adanya kebutuhan informasi, namun dalam pelaksanaannya, perilaku seseorang diperagakan berbeda-beda akibat intervensi faktor psikologi, demografi, peran sosial, lingkungan, dan karakter sumber informasi. Kelima faktor tersebut sangat mempengaruhi bagaimana akhirnya seseorang mewujudkan kebutuhan informasi dalam bentuk perilaku informasi. Perilaku tersebut akan mencerminkan karakteristik seseorang dalam mencari informasi di perpustakaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui bagaimana perilaku mahasiswa S2 Linguistik Undip dalam mencari informasi dan apa saja yang mempengaruhi perilakunya. Metode kajian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan cara pengamatan dan studi pustaka. Teknik sampelnya menggunakan purposive sampling terhadap mahasiswa yang memiliki kecenderungan perilaku berbeda dari pada lainnya. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa Mahasiswa S2 Linguistik Undip memiliki beragam karakter, yakni pemalu, banyak permintaan, sombong, penurut, pendiam, banyak bicara, dan ramah, akibatnya perilaku mahasiswa dalam memulai, mengkaitkan, menelusur, memilah, memantau, dan menyeleksi informasi berbeda, sementara verifikasi dan penggunaan informasi cenderung sama. Perilaku tersebut dipengaruhi oleh faktor psikologis, demografis, peran sosial, lingkungan, dan karakter sumber informasi yang dialami mahasiswa dalam kehidupannya secara berbeda. Perilaku yang diperagakan oleh mahasiswa mencerminkan karakteristik yang khas ketika mencari informasi di perpustakaan. Kajian ini diharapkan dapat membuka cakrawala baru bagi pustakawan dalam menghadapi pemustaka khususnya mahasiswa pascasarjana saat mencari informasi di perpustakaan. Kajian ini juga diharapkan dapat membantu perguruan tinggi dalam membentuk karakter mahasiswa melalui layanan perpustakaan.

Abstract

Introduction. This research aims to explore WhatsApp Chatbot as an artificial intelligence service at the UIN Walisongo Library. Data Collection Methods. The method used is R&D with the Waterfall model from Roger S. Pressman starting from the stages of communication, planning, modeling, construction, to deployment. To build a WhatsApp Chatbot system dialog, data collection processes were conducted using observations, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data Analysis. The data was analyzed using descriptive qualitative. Further, the validity of the data was tested by triangulation of sources and techniques. Results and Discussion. WhatsApp Chatbot at UIN Walisongo Library was developed in five stages. They are communicating, planning, modeling, manufacturing and deploying. Information mapping is devided into Admin, Member, and General levels. WhatsApp Chatbot is integrated with SLiMS to produce dynamic and static answer obtained from librarian responses. Conclusion. WhatsApp Chatbot becomes a solution for librarians and an alternative for library users at UIN Walisongo Library. It is expected that the WhatsApp Chatbot can also be integrated with other systems in the library so that integrated information can provide more complete information to meet the needs of library users.

Abstract

Background of the study: This research describes medical record management activities in two government hospitals in Indonesia, namely RSUD Tugurejo Semarang and RSUD Kota South Tangerang. This Hospital became history for the Indonesian people during the COVID-19 era and became a referral hospital for COVID-19 patients. Medical records, as written documents regarding the initial history of a patient's illness, can be trusted in the name of law and become archives with legal and historical value. Therefore, it is necessary to look at how the medical records of COVID-19 patients are recorded and utilized. Purpose: Analyze the use of COVID-19 medical records as a source of health information data in hospitals. Method: This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. Data sources come from observation, interviews, and documentation. Findings: The research results found that medical records at General Hospitals in Indonesia are managed based on life cycle files, following the guidelines issued by the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 24 of 2022 concerning Medical Records. Conclusion: The more organized a hospital's medical record archive is, the more information contained in the medical record will be visible to researchers.
