Abstract

Every individual has different abilities in translating problems because it is influenced by basic knowledge, experience, and cognitive. The cognitive types of FD were identical slower than others. This study describes the mathematical reasoning of students with cognitive type of FD in problem solving. The research data needed is the GEFT test, problem-solving tests, and interviews involving twostudents in level IV . All data were analyzed inductively. The results showed that students with the cognitive type of FD needed a long time to create connection to the problem thinking and they needed direction as a stimulus to stimulate their thinking. Lecturers can use realistic examples in the environment around them to make connections in their thinking.

Abstract

The train station is an important facility. However, the services provided to train passengers are still not optimal. There are still several weaknesses, including the arrival and departure processes of trains that still rely on telephone communication with other station staff. Notification of train arrival will be sent by telephone by the officer at the previous station to the destination station. On receiving notification of arrival, station staff will close the train portal. This process can have a weakness, and namely, if there is the officers' negligence, it can cause an accident. This is due to the absence of an automatic operating system on the railroad crossing portals. Because the manual system must use human labour or operators to operate and open the railroad crossing portals, so that operator error or failure of manual operation of the portal can increase the likelihood of a train accident occurring at the crossing portal, the above problems can be overcome by implementing an automatic portal closure system. With an automatic portal system, the portal will automatically close if a train passes through the crossing.

Abstract

The ability of computers that are increasingly reliable in various fields, especially in helping the image processing sector through improving image quality, is very much felt so that the empowerment of computers at any time needs to be improved. Image quality improvement can be made with various techniques, including Image Quality Improvement with Image Brightness and Image Sharpening methods. The process begins with capturing the image and then continues with increasing the intensity of brightness, image contrast and sharpening. Image processing results are indicated by changes in the resulting image and changes in the image histogram

Abstract

Prime number in growth computer science of number theory and very need to yield an tool which can yield an hardware storey level effectiveness use efficiency and Existing Tools can be used to awaken regular prime number sequence pattern, structure bit-array represent containing subdividing variables method of data aggregate with every data element which have type of equal, and also can be used in moth-balls the yielded number sequence. Prime number very useful to be applied by as bases from algorithm kriptografi key public creation, hash table, best algorithm if applied hence is prime number in order to can minimize collision (collisions) will happen, in determining pattern sequence of prime number which size measure is very big is not an work easy to, so that become problems which must be searched by the way of quickest to yield sequence of prime number which size measure is very big Serial use of prosesor in seeking sequence prime number which size measure is very big less be efficient remember needing of computing time which long enough, so also plural use prosesor in seeking sequence of prime number will concerning to price problem and require software newly. So that by using generator of prime number use structure bit-array expected by difficulty in searching pattern sequence of prime number can be overcome though without using plural processor even if, as well as time complexity minimization can accessed. Execution time savings gained from the research seen from the research data, using the algorithm on the input Atkins 676,999,999. 4235747.00 execution takes seconds. While the algorithm by using an array of input bits 676,999,999. 13955.00 execution takes seconds. So that there is a difference of execution time for 4221792.00 seconds.

Abstract

The website is one of the digital information media used by schools to display their profiles so that they can be known by the public. Some SMP Negeri in Kota Samarinda do not yet have a website as a media or school information center. This could be due to difficulties in creating and on the website of each school. From these problems, in this study researchers innovated to create a Content Management System (CMS) for school websites, especially at SMP Negeri 29 Samarinda. Laravel PHP framework is used with the system development method is the Waterfall method.

Abstract

Information Technology Division is one of the divisions in Pangestu Jaya Ltd. which engaged in IT Department, where in this division there are several sub-divisions that are interrelated and have the duty and responsibility of each individual to improve services in The company. Turnover is one of the major obstacles in order to still be able to keep the knowledge technology in the company, because there are still many employees with outsourced status who often do turnover in IT division, so difficult to keep the knowledge. therefor need a knowledge management technology which is capable of storing, distributing knowledge in order to renew even while maintaining corporate knowledge. The system design of this research used SECI and WIL (Work Integrated Learning).

Abstract

This study aims to describe lecturers' ability to use online learning media at the Tarbiyah and Keguruan Faculty of UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh in the learning process. This study used a quantitative descriptive research design. Research subjects are lecturers who actively teach in the odd semester of 2020/2021. Meanwhile, 42 people were randomly selected as samples. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed that lecturers' ability with indicators of skills in using online learning media obtained an average value of 79.29%, which means that, on average, the lecturers were able to use online learning media well. The ability of lecturers with indicators of skills in managing online learning is obtained an average value of 67.56%, which means that the lecturer can manage online learning well.

Abstract

PBL adoption is increasingly widespread and recognized for various disciplines in higher education and in basic education has made a trend in learning innovation today. PBL provides individual freedom to find, utilize, build knowledge through experience in the form of project completion. The characteristics of the project used are the existence of investigations that give students the freedom to change and build knowledge. The investigation took place every day in a row from the student team (2 people) for 4 days for the given calculus project. The results of project completion investigations were delivered through team presentations, discussions, interviews with lecturers, and the provision of scaffolding by lecturers.Investigation which success include combination, definition of maclaurin series, tribe and series and derivative function which support project finishing, describing material supporting of project through example, verification binomial theorem, identification to 30 tribes maclaurin series/binomial series and approach value through tool of conting/ software(excel, calculator, geogebra) Scaffolding thinks incompatibility occurs in understanding and interpretation of combination notation, thought theorem, and implementation in calculations. Researcher's discovery that students are very active in building knowledge and exploring their experiences, as well as building openness in teams and instructors.

Abstract

Product promotion is a way for business owners to increase sales of existing goods. Business owners could use association rules as a consideration of product promotion policies. Determination of association rules can be determined using the market basket analysis method with the fp-growth algorithm. From the research, there are 248 association rules for goods that are often purchased simultaneously with minimum support of 0.01 and minimum confidence of 0.1. Of the 248 rules, there are seven rules that have a confidence value of more than 0.5. Of the seven rules, flour appeared five times, and the cake mat and cake box had the highest confidence value of 0.62 and a lift of 5.54. Therefore, we recommend shop owners to place wheat flour on the main display close to items often purchased together, such as sweetened condensed milk, sugar, powdered margarine, and margarine. In addition, shop owners can also promote bundling cake boxes and cake mats.

Abstract

On average, students of the Yogyakarta Nahdlatul Ulama University (UNU Yogyakarta) have difficulty accessing course materials and self-assessments from e-learning platforms without the internet. The author uses a qualitative method by using observation to get direct information about access to course material from the e-learning platform. The mobile learning (m-learning) application prototype was developed through the android platform using the Java programming language. As a result, the use of m-learning can be one of the best modules of mixed learning techniques. The author recommends that UNU Yogyakarta integrate it with their e-learning platform. This m-learning application intends to complement the e-learning system and make students whenever and wherever they want to gain knowledge without the internet via an android phone. Future researchers can connect the m-learning application and other aspects of the e-learning platform.
