Abstract

Data from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia shows that as many as 7.1% or 18 million Indonesians are infected with Hepatitis B-0. Of these, 50% are at risk of becoming chronic and 900,000 can become liver cancer. Even Hepatitis B-0 is the top 4 cause of death in Indonesia, with an estimated annual death of 51,100 deaths. HB-0 immunization coverage at TPMB "L" in May 2023 is 35% of the target of 100%. The purpose of this study: To determine the picture of maternal knowledge about HB-0 immunization in newborns in TPMB "L". This research method is a descriptive study, sampling using the Accidental sampling method, with a total of 25 respondents of 3rd-trimester pregnant women in TPMB "L" using questionnaires. The results of the study: Pregnant women with quite a lot of knowledge categories are 20 people (80%) and pregnant women with knowledge of approximately 5 people (20%). Conclusion: The level of knowledge about HB-0 immunization in TPMB "L" with sufficient category is 20 respondents (80%). It is expected that health workers, especially midwives, will further increase knowledge of 3rd-trimester pregnant women about HB-0 immunization by providing education through counselling about HB-0 immunization or distributing brochures about the HB-0 immunization program.

Abstract

Anemia is a significant health problem in Indonesia, with a prevalence of 57.7% among adolescents in the Singaparna Health Center area. This study aims to evaluate the relationship between nutritional knowledge, nutritional status, and adherence to the consumption of Blood Added Tablets (TTD) with the incidence of anemia in adolescent girls at SMK Al-Ishlah in 2023. Quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach involved 47 adolescent girls as a sample. Data analysis using SPSS showed that there was no significant relationship between nutritional knowledge (p = 0.654), nutritional status (p = 0.442), and TTD consumption compliance (p = 1,000) with the incidence of anemia. Research recommendations include cooperation between schools and health services to improve adolescent nutrition, monitoring of anemia prevention, nutrition education policies in schools, nutrition campaign programs, educational activities, and developing effective strategies. This study contributes to the development of public health science related to nutrition and anemia.

Abstract

Dating violence, acts of violence against premarital couples, have a significant impact on the victim's life journey. Previous studies have shown that women who are victims of physical or sexual violence in dating are at risk of experiencing more health complaints. This study aims to evaluate the influence of leaflet media on the knowledge and attitudes of SMK Satya Bhakti students in 2023 regarding dating violence. The research method uses a Quasi-Experimental design with a Group Pretest-Posttest approach. The sample involved 36 students from the population of SMK Satya Bhakti Tasikmalaya. The results showed significant differences in students' knowledge and attitudes after receiving education using leaflet media (P value knowledge: 0.000, P value attitude: 0.000). Students need to improve their knowledge by searching for clear information on the internet or participating in health education activities to reject violent dating behavior and prevent risks that may arise.
