Abstract

Face detection is the first step in interaction between humans such as image retrieval, tracking, face recognition and so on. Currently, face detection is a very interesting topic for research. The Viola Jones algorithm is the defacto standard for face detection. So the research was carried out using the Viola Jones algorithm. The Viola Jones algorithm has 3 contributions, namely the integral image, the second contribution of the integral image allows very fast feature evaluation by using Adaboost in feature selection and the third is the use of a cascade classifier. The research results show a precision value of 85.54% and a recall of 90.25% for the Baodataset dataset. Meanwhile, for personal data, precision was 88.42% and recall was 90.60%.

Abstract

There are various problems in the Informatics Engineering library at Universitas Malikussaleh, one of which is book management, where this data is very necessary for the book data collection process. Considering the problems faced by staff in the library section, an idea was formulated to create a data processing system based on an information system. Fast, high-quality and smooth data processing is needed by all types of organizations to assist in achieving work goals or objectives, especially in the library section. This research aims to overcome this problem by creating a system that aims to optimize the performance of staff in the Informatics Engineering library at Universitas Malikussaleh. The system is built on a desktop basis.

Abstract

The Baktiya Health Center is one of the health centers in Baktiya District, North Aceh Regency. The services offered by the Baktiya Health Center, as for complaints felt by the people of Baktiya District, are that there is no information regarding inpatient services, due to being the only health center in the District. Baktiya, so many people cannot use these inpatient services due to limited space or rooms for inpatients and information regarding room availability or room capacity at the Baktiya Health Center, and the process of data collection and information related to inpatient services is still done manually so slow down the performance of staff and officers at the Baktiya Health Center. For this reason, we need a system that functions to provide information about inpatient services at the Baktiya Health Center, to make it easier for staff and employees of the Health Center and the community to improve quality and services, especially inpatient services for the Baktiya Health Center. With the construction of a web-based Baktiya Health Center inpatient information system, it can help the community and Health Center staff to provide, receive and improve quality inpatient services at the Baktiya District Health Center.

Abstract

Semarang, as the capital of Central Java Province, has several heritage tourist attractions, namely tourism that uses a place or area that has history and an important role in a region as a tourist destination, one of the historical building which is considered a cultural heritage. One of the famous cultural heritage sites in Semarang is Lawang Sewu. Also there are Museum Kota Lama which was just opened by the Semarang city government in 2022, then Sam Poo Kong which is one of the oldest monasteries and cultural tourist attractions in Semarang. An analysis of the sentiment of visitors to heritage tourism through reviews on Google Maps will be carried out to find out whether the tourist attraction is considered positive or negative in the public's view. These three tourist attractions are heritage tourist destinations in Semarang City which are widely reviewed by the public. The aim of this research is to find out public reviews of heritage tourist destinations in Semarang City. Reviews were taken on the Google Maps site, using the Naïve Bayes classifier algorithm. In analyzing sentiment using the RapidMiner application.

Abstract

This research implements Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) to optimize waste collection routes in urban areas. The implementation utilizes the PHP, JS, and HTML programming languages, resulting in an interactive mapping application that facilitates community participation in identifying garbage accumulation locations. The research findings indicate that by employing ACO calculations with parameters α = 1.0 for pheromones and β = 2.0 for visibility, the best waste collection route was identified with a total distance of 9.565 km.The route begins at "Cunda Fish Market" (pheromone 0.1, visibility 3.321146121) heading towards "Beside the bus terminal" (distance 0.301 km), then continues to "Inpres Market" (pheromone 0.1, visibility 0.814261078, distance 1.228 km), "Pusong Lama Market" (pheromone 0.1, visibility 0.611779235, distance 1.635 km), "Lhokseumawe Reservoir behind the church" (pheromone 0.1, visibility 1.854365059, distance 0.539 km), and concludes at "Lhokseumawe State Polytechnic" (pheromone 0.1, visibility 0.170600122, distance 5.862 km).Each step reflects ant choices based on calculated probabilities, starting from the highest probability of 0.922322 in the first step to the lowest probability of 0.006391 in the last step. This research underscores the efficiency of the routes generated by ACO and demonstrates that bio-inspired algorithms such as ACO can be effectively applied to real logistics problems, providing responsive and adaptive solutions to the dynamics of urban environments.

The advancement of online marketing has opened up extensive opportunities for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to expand their reach to international markets. This research aims to create a comprehensive sales information system for showcasing and selling unique handicraft products through a web portal, administered by designated personnel. Abstract

The A* (Astar) algorithm is an algorithm that is included in the category of informed search methods. This algorithm is very good as a solution to the path finding process. This algorithm looks for the shortest route distance that will be taken from a starting point to the North Aceh tourist attraction. The search technique used in this simulation is the A* algorithm with a heuristic function. The main aim of this research is to study how the A* algorithm works in finding the fastest distance, which simulates conditions when someone is looking for a route in a traffic jam. This simulation provides a more realistic picture of the behavior of the A* algorithm in finding the shortest route distance to North Aceh Tourist Attractions.

Abstract

Hajj and Umrah Organizer, Office of the Ministry of Religion, Lhokseumawe City, as the institution responsible for organizing the Hajj and Umrah, is faced with complex challenges related to information and technology management. This research determines the process domain of Control Objectives using the COBIT 5 Framework and analysis of Capability Levels in Agencies. Based on the results of this research, it was found that the COBIT 5 domain processes used were EDM (Evaluate, Direct and Monitor), APO (Align, Plan and Organize), and MEA (Monitor Evaluate and Assess). The research results show that the agency's capability level is 2.29, which means it is still at level 2 (managed process), meaning the process has been carried out regularly, there is planning and supervision. Therefore, recommendations are needed for target levels to be achieved at level 3 by improving documentation of information technology management processes and developing requirements, classifications and priorities in providing services and handling incidents.
