Abstract

This research is based on observations, the MUSDA Perbaungan Private Vocational School is one of the vocational schools that cannot be separated from the struggle of the Regional Government of Serdang Bedagai Regency which is located in Tualang. MUSDA Perbaungan Private Vocational School has majors in Computer Network Engineering, Software Engineering, Light Vehicle Engineering, Motorcycle Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering with a total number of 45 teachers. Making a decision support system for determining homeroom teachers is very much needed by the MUSDA Perbaungan Private Vocational School. This system will make it easier to determine homeroom teachers, and also this system can help evaluate teacher performance systems that are lacking in performance standards in general. Thus, a decision support system using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is suitable to be developed in this system. This system will make it easier to find and determine teachers who are worthy of being homeroom teachers and will speed up the calculation of assessments and attributes to determine teachers who are worthy of being homeroom teachers. The Simple Additive Weighting method can be used as a method in making applications in decision making. Simple Additive Weighting uses a value ordering system in determining attribute ratings, where the rating of each attribute is summed with the weight of the attribute in question. The Simple Additive Weighting method is often also known as the weighted addition method. The basic concept of the Simple Additive Weighting method is to find the weighted sum of the performance ratings for each alternative on all attributes.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on observations at the PTPN III work station, the operator who did not feel comfortable with the thermal environment was the operator of the sterilizer station. The sterilizer station has heat radiation from the sterilizer machine, heat radiation of machine support equipment and heat conduction of the station roof. All the heat radiation affects the station air temperature. Based on data collection, the average air temperature at the station is 34.59 oC. The operator's reaction to this heat exposure is to take breaks during working hours and when operating machinery. Overall, the proportion of work of machine operators and track control operators who are at the sterilizer station is small. The method used to analyze the impact of heat exposure is the calculation of the Heat Stress Index (HSI) and the proposed repair of HVAC (Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning) installations simulated with CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics). Based on the analysis of the processed data, the average HSI of operators at the sterilizer stations in 13 work areas is 83.62%, which indicates that all operators are exposed to heat. There is a fairly strong positive correlation between HSI and the operator's physiological response of R2 = 0.303. This indicates that the HSI felt by the operator can increase the physiological response in the form of an increase in the number of metabolic activities. There is a very strong negative correlation between the Heat Stress Index value and the total proportion of work operators of R2 = 0.914. This indicates that the increase in HSI makes the operator work proportion decrease. Improvements made were the installation of Air Conditioning in the form of the installation of the L-90 Turbine Ventilator. Based on the simulation, it is known that this improvement will reduce the perception of heat for the operator and reduce the level of operator discomfort.

Abstract

The boiler works to produce steam by heating the boiler water pipes..Boiler has a very important role in the continuity of performance of a Palm Oil Mill in other words can be said as the heart of the Palm Oil Mill,Boilers that have been used for a period of 20 years will certainly experience a decrease in performance, using the Overall Effectiveness Equipment (OEE) method we can know the value of Boiler Effectiveness, to get the OEE value we can see from the maintenance track record that has been carried out by the company, OEE Boiler Value in 2017 obtained average value is 39.08%, this is caused by the high the value of Reduced Speed ??Losses on the Analysis of Six Big Losses in Boiler Sei Mangkei Palm Oil Mill, which is 79.01%.

Abstract

PT. Socfin Indonesia Kebun Tanah Belih is a company engaged in rubber processing with crumb rubber products. In the production process there is a bottleneck problem. Aims to get an improvement in the balance of the production line so as to increase production output. The right problem solving method is the Ranked Position Weight method, Theory of Constraints, and the Simulated Annealing Algorithm. RPW is used to calculate the actual production line performance. The results obtained indicate that there is an imbalance in the path, then an analysis of the causes of the problem is carried out using the TOC method. The results of the cause of problems at the work station and the reduction of the time of the work elements are obtained, so that the smoothing index value is obtained as a path balance parameter. The smoothing index value is then used as the initial solution in the Simulated Annealing Algorithm. The parameters of the Simulated Annealing Algorithm include cycle time, initial temperature of 1000C, 17 iterations, and steady state termination at N value of 3. The search for new solutions is carried out by iterating by combining work elements based on precedence diagrams and zoning constraints. The iteration stops when N is 3, meaning that the iteration has been rejected three times in a row. The best solution is obtained in iteration 10 with a value of 110.39. By using the Simulated Annealing Algorithm method, the efficiency value is increased by 9.36%, the balance delay value decreases by 9.36% and the smoothing index decreases by 94.18.

Abstract

In accordance with the regulations determined by the office to obtain a promotion, criteria are needed to determine who will be elected to receive promotion. Job promotion is carried out with the aim of providing feedback on the performance produced by a civil servant for a certain period. To help determine in applying someone who deserves to be promoted his position for Decision Support Systems is to use the Fuzzy Multi Attribute Decision Making (FMADM) model. In this study a case was raised, namely looking for the best alternative based on predetermined criteria using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to calculate the FMADM model in that case. Fuzzy is used using a fuzzy system rule that is fuzzification, inference and deffuzification. This FMADM model was chosen because it is able to select the best alternative from a number of intended alternatives, namely those who have the right to choose employees to be promoted in accordance with the specified criteria. The research was conducted by looking for weight values for each attribute, then a ranking process was carried out that would determine the optimal alternative, namely the best civil servants.
