Abstract

Increased activity in the Central Integrated Business Area in Makassar City, especially the use of the integrated pedestrian path in the Karebosi field and its surroundings, is not equipped with the provision of adequate facilities and infrastructure, resulting in the degradation of spatial functions, along with the increase in community mobility. The method used is a survey method with a collaborative approach which will be described quantitatively and qualitatively, with the aim of knowing the characteristics of the pedestrian path in the area, formulating the general concept of an environmentally sound pedestrian path. The research focus is located on the integration of the Karebosi field pedestrian path and its surroundings. Based on the analysis and discussion, it is obtained that the physical characteristics of the pedestrian path are determined by the factors of comfort, safety and patterns, along with their activities that have not worked effectively. In some segments of the pedestrian path, it is used as a parking area and there are temporary office activities in segment A (Kartini street) which is connected to segment B (Kajaolalido street). For the application of the environment on pedestrian paths, in general the concept can be rearranged several lanes indicated to be a barrier factor, as well as developing aspects that refer to the embodiment of P2KH.

Abstract

This research aims to optimize the application of police discretion by internalizing the concept of religious moderation in dealing with street crimes by police officers. The emergence of street crimes with various criminal acts, such as theft and bribery have greatly disturbed the public so that a new formulation is needed to fix this condition. Furthermore, the internalization of the fair and balanced principle of religious moderation in the police discretion is able to optimize the performance of the police officers in carrying out their duties, including the application of discretion carefully and in accordance with legal regulations. This research is qualitative research which is described descriptively. The data collection technique used was interviewed. The results showed that the concept of religious moderation gave positive results in the application of police discretion. The positive results are: 1) Religious moderation has succeeded in being present as controllers and supervisors from within (internally) of the individual policeman in every discretionary action against the motorcycle gang members; 2) The concept of religious moderation helps police officers understand Islam and the importance of being moderate towards followers of other religions; 3) Increase community satisfaction with the performance of the police institution.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the behaviour of residents towards the application of the hijab concept to small-type dwellings in urban areas. Small-type houses are generally limited to the main rooms, namely the living room, bedroom, toilet, and kitchen. With this limited spatial layout, there is no clear separation between public space and private space. A house that functions to accommodate activities through architectural arrangements and the hijab as a teaching that regulates behaviour according to Islamic teachings are expected to work together to create an Islamic spatial pattern. This study uses a descriptive method to examine the integrity of the residents in applying the hijab concept to urban dwellings with limited land area. This study has two variables: (1) physical hijab, which consists of four indicators, namely layout, wall elements, doors, windows, and furniture; and (2) non-physical hijab, which consists of indicators of occupant behaviour or activities. The study's findings indicate that occupants' integrity is moderate, with the concept of hijab in urban dwellings manifested in (1) physical hijab with spatial planning that separates public and private spaces; and (2) non-physical hijab in the form of behaviour or manners that apply Islamic rules.

Abstract

The Muhammadiyah movement in generosity through LazisMu social philanthropy, to awaken the nature of generosity to everyone. LazisMu, can align themselves and contribute with other organizations, which can adapt to the current economic conditions due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to find out the technology-based LazisMu philanthropy model, and to know the concept of implementing LazisMu philanthropy which is known to the wider community. The type of research used is literature with qualitative descriptive methods, data collection techniques through primary and secondary, with content analysis. From the results of the study, it was found that: More intensive socialization about LazisMu philanthropy is needed, so that it is better known by Muhammadiyah residents and the wider community, Activate Muhammadiyah membership through electronic cards, so that it can become a culture of concern for Muhammadiyah residents in giving alms, giving infaq and so on. The use of the Cashless digital application, which makes non-cash transactions easier.  The result of the next idea is that it is necessary to add the LazisMu feature to the BSI application found in Mobile Banking or Internet Banking, so that generosity behavior for everyone becomes easy and effective, especially for Muhammadiyah residents.

Abstract

When entering life in marriage, men will have a new role, namely as a husband, while women will also have a new role in their household life as a wife. In addition, if men and women already have children, they will also play the role of father and mother. In society, a husband will be tasked with earning a living, in this study as a fisherman or farmer, but they also help their wife in taking care of the household, and take care their children, the wife does not only taking care of the household or take care their children, but also helps her husband in earn a living. The fish or garden’s produce will be sell by the wife, while the husbands taking care of the household, including taking care of their children. In this paper, we will focus on the concept of Sibaliparriq which is carried out by married couples who work together and help each other to create harmonious family conditions. In this study we used a qualitative approach and used in-depth interviews and observation as data collection methods. There were 7 people who became informants in this study and the informants differed by age and occupation. This study explains that there is the concept of Sibaliparriq in the division of roles in household affairs between husband and wife and also work hand in hand for the welfare of the family. The Sibaliparriq concept can be carried out well by husband and wife because there is a balanced division of roles carried out by both husband and wife which is also accompanied by mutual support and also mutual understanding so that each of them is able to carry out their respective roles properly.

Abstract

The arrival of Islam in Kutai Kartanegara was brought by two clerics namely Datu Ribandang and Datu Ditiro with the acceptance of Islam by the King of the XVII century Crown Prince Mulia. The two Muballig brought an appeal, inviting the king's family and people to embrace Islam. The king also accepted the condition that Tuan Tunggang Parangan could enter into a magic battle. This was done to fulfill the request of the Crown King, but it was agreed that if the Crown King lost, he would think twice about the creed or convert to Islam. But if Tuan Tunggang Parangan (Datu Ditiro) lost, he was willing to serve the Kingdom. After fighting the supernatural powers, all were won by Tuan Tunggang Parangan. This means that the King of the Crown must keep his promise to pronounce the shahadatain through the guidance of Tuan Tunggang Parangan (Datu Ditiro). The progress of the times and its development, the influence of Islam has been very large by the people of Kutai Kartanegara. The aim is to obtain a clear picture of the development of the Islamic religion and erau culture in Kutai Kartanegara, as well as to obtain an overview of the influence of Islam on the culture of Erau Kutai Kartanegara. This research is qualitative in nature using ethnographic methods that seek to study cultural events within the scope of the Islamic religion, in the procession of carrying out the Erau culture in Kutai Kertanagara. This research will be conducted in a natural situation, so there are no limitations in interpreting or understanding the phenomenon being studied. The results of research on the traditional Erau ceremonial party are held every year as a ceremonial event in the Kutai community. Cultures are displayed both in coastal and inland cultures, for example sound art in the form of hadrah, Qasidah and barzanji, music in the form of tingkilan music, literary arts, tarsul poetry of the pantun type recited at weddings, and tasmiyah. Fashion art in the form of traditional clothes of Erau Takwo miskat, Chinese clothes, Javanese clothes and Bugis clothes, and dance arts in the form of Jeppen dance, masks, rudat, ganjar ganjur and even social and political institutions. Economy, trade were held and demonstrated again in order to refresh memory and knowledge of the traditional Erau ceremony.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of Regional Regulation No. 1 of 2022 concerning Enrekang Regency Library Organization and Literacy Movement which was promulgated on March 17 2022, as well as to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation process. This research is a qualitative descriptive study, which is located in Enrekang Regency, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the research show that the implementation of Regional Regulation Number 1 of 2022 has been carried out. The form of implementation of Regional Regulation Number 1 of 2022 is that the Library and Archives Service of Enrekang Regency has provided assistance to several Village/Wards for the establishment of a Village Library. The Enrekang Regency Library and Archives Service has also set up literacy corners and digital outlets in several villages/wards. Several obstacles, namely the involvement of the Community and Village Empowerment Service of Enrekang Regency in implementing Regional Regulation Number 1 of 2022 has not been implemented, and also the Library and Archives Service of Enrekang Regency is experiencing problems related to the lack of hardware that can support the establishment of digital outlets in every Village/Wards in the Regency Enrekang.

Abstract

In the era of completely open democracy, the differences in views and interests among citizens are very diverse, managed in such a way that aspirations can be conveyed properly. Massive information makes the public must be able to sort out the information they receive fairly and wisely. The presence of various developments in technology and information has become important in addressing the attitude of religious moderation. This study aims to find a model of the implications of religious moderation in the framework of digital da'wah-based social media, which is specifically for the millennial generation. Descriptive qualitative method used in this study, by taking literature sources that have a correlation with research problems such as journals, ebooks, websites and youtube. The results obtained are, to present or apply an attitude of moderation in the midst of the general public consisting of various cultures and beliefs, must be able to take a role in all matters related to religious social life. While the relation with digital da'wah to the millennial generation, essentially it will be more interesting if it is through social media, but it is also guided by the Islamic concept of Rahmatan Lil Alamin, which has implications for the attitude of religious moderation. An effective communication space dialogue for the millennial generation at home and in the community, will form a person who has character and becomes a tolerant character based on the philosophy of diversity in defending the NKRI, according to Islamic rules and government programs in religious moderation

Abstract

Investor behavior plays an important role in making investment decisions in the capital market because an appropriate investment decision is not only based on fundamental factors as a rational aspect, but is also influenced by psychological factors, namely investor behavior which is an irrational aspect in stock trading and expectations of returns. received. This study aims to examine the influence of heuristics on investment behavior by using investment ethics as an intervening variable. The research method of this study is quantitative research. This study uses an associative approach. The associative approach is research that aims to determine the relationship between two or more variables. The population of this study are investors who invest in shares in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in Makassar City who are still actively investing. The sample criteria of thisstudy are investors who invest in shares in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the city of Makassar. In addition, the investment criteria is to have a minimum time of 1-2 years. The results of the study show that the heuristic variable is a factor that also influences one's investment behaviour. This reveals that the higher the heuristic attitude or behaviour of an investor will also affect investment behaviour in making investment decisions. Heuristic variables or moral considerations have a positive influence on investment ethics. The investment ethics variable has a positive effect on investment behaviour. This happens because investors tend to always take moral considerations by observing the consequences that will occur both to the individual himself and also to his social environment in determining investment choices and attitudes. The heuristic variable has a positive effect on investment behaviour through investment ethics.

Abstract

The Losari Beach area is one of the tourist attractions in South Sulawesi which is located in Makassar City. Tourism industry destinations can provide Regional Original Income (PAD) for Makassar City. Losar Beach has a lot of potential to be utilized, namely as a marine tourism destination, water sports, ports, seafood, shopping places, etc. The purpose of this research is to develop the potential of the city of Makassar as a tourist city, especially the Losar beach area with the aim of reviewing it. This study used a descriptive approach with qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques. Regarding the results of the discussion, namely the current aspects of the development of the Losari beach area, hierarchically this area has enough potential to be developed, especially in terms of spatial patterns so that it can become a world city. At present efforts are being made to integrate other cultural tourism such as Fort Rotterdam with Losari Beach by increasing pedestrian paths so that tourists, both domestic and foreign, can enjoy nature tourism and cultural tourism. Likewise with the area integration efforts that connect the SombaOpu road with Losari beach. In this area, temporary anticipation is being carried out in various supporting institutions related to tourism in the Integrated Business Center area. This achievement must of course be supported by the improvement of various related facilities and infrastructure, such as the provision of inter-city public transportation with direct access to Losari Beach, parking areas around the Losar Beach area, cultural reorganization. Regional regulations and regional regulations and associations have contributed to efforts to develop losari beach tourism through Revisit Intention. The results of the summary of the researcher's notes obtained from secondary data, namely the city government's efforts to evaluate the improvement of Losari beach as a landmark of Makassar city.
