Abstract

By using a single index model on companies included in the group of 50Biggest Market Capitalizationwhich is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from January 2023 to December 2023. This research aims to determine the ideal stock portfolio proportions. The analysis results show that two shares, PT. Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (TPIA) and PT. Dian Swastika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA), can be included in an ideal stock portfolio.The proportion of the two issuers is 39.58% and 60.42%. From the two issuers, the return from the optimal stock portfolio is 7.37% with a risk to be borne of 20.42%.

Abstract

This research discusses the socio-economy of fishing communities in Pantai Labu District, North Sumatra. The problems studied in the research focused on how to find out the socio-economic life of the delayan community in Pantai Labu District both from the social, social organization, economic organization, social and economic aspects. In the review methodology, they provide a detailed description of the quality, with applied technical data, technical observations and different structures. The results of this study show the socio-economic life of the community ranging from work, income, livelihoods and community environment.

Abstract

This research focuses on portfolio optimization by leveraging Markowitz Modern Portfolio Theory (MPT) along with Sharpe ratio to analyze the inclusion of Bitcoin in diversified investment portfolios along with the LQ45 Index and gold. The methodology begins with collecting historical data of the underlying asset and the risk-free rate during the period from October 2014 to October 2024, followed by calculating the expected returns, standard deviations, and covariances. This research compares two different portfolio scenarios, with and without Bitcoin. The results shows that portfolio that incorporate Bitcoin have higher return and have better risk-adjusted performance compared to portfolio without Bitcoin during this period. This highlighted the potential for Bitcoin to contribute for enhancing portfolio performance and yielding better return with a given level of risk, providing valuable insight for portfolio diversification and underscore Bitcoin as a high-risk and high-return asset in modern financial markets.

Abstract

The food and beverage (F&B) industry plays a significant role in Indonesia’s economy, contributing substantially to the manufacturing sector's growth. However, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in this sector often face challenges related to production capacity and product consistency, limiting their ability to meet rising market demand. UD Salma Jaya, an SME specializing in snack production, implemented automation to enhance efficiency but encountered machine failures that disrupted operations. These breakdowns led to decreased productivity and inconsistent product quality, particularly when reverting to manual production. This study aims to identify the root causes of these operational challenges and evaluate strategies for optimizing productivity and product quality. Using Root Cause Analysis (RCA), the Fishbone Diagram, and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), the study assesses whether investing in new automation technology or improving manual production methods would be the most effective solution. The findings suggest that upgrading machinery while enhancing workforce adaptability through targeted training programs can ensure long-term operational stability. This research provides valuable insights for SMEs facing similar automation-related challenges in the F&B industry.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze strategic sourcing and production bottleneck management to maximize revenue of PT. Elsewedy Electric Indonesia. The company faces challenges in meeting increasing market demand, especially in the renewable energy sector. The company's main challenge is the mismatch between current production capacity, which is optimized for medium to high capacity transformers, and market demand that is shifting towards smaller transformers. This study uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. Qualitative data were collected through semi-structured interviews with five stakeholder: (1) General Manager, (2) Head of Production, (3) Production Manager and (4) Sourcing Manager from PT. EEI. Quantitative data include historical production data, cycle time data from MOST (Maynard Operation Sequence Technique) studies, and actual machine or workspace data. SWOT analysis is used to map sourcing strategies, and MOST studies are used to calculate production cycle time and plant capacity. The Balanced Scorecard (BSC) is implemented to align operational performance with long-term financial targets. The Balance Scorecard covers four perspectives, namely financial, customer, internal process, and learning & growth, with a total of 10 strategic objectives. The research findings show that the Dry Oven and testing stages are bottlenecks in the production process. The maximum monthly capacity is 14 units or equivalent to 840 MVA, while the winding process can produce 19 units or equivalent to 1140 MVA. Strategic recommendations include the application of vapor phase drying technology can reduce drying time by 20%, diversifying suppliers for long-term delivery materials by adding 2-3 new vendors, implementing the optional strategy of building Testbay 3 to increase testing capacity by 30%, and reallocating 50% of production to high-value MV/HV transformers, which is projected to increase annual output from 10,080 MVA to 12,983 MVA. The limitation of this study is that no investment calculations were made on the optional strategy of building the new Testbay 3. The scenario implementation recommendations are divided into two stages: (1) Short term, including the implementation of vapor phase drying technology, supplier diversification, and the implementation of effective product portfolio reallocation, and (2) Optional strategy including the construction of Testbay 3 taking into account the strategic evaluation of scenario 1.

Abstract

Marketing innovation in the digital era plays a crucial role in enhancing institutional capital, particularly for higher education institutions like STIKOM CKI. The rapid development of digital technologies and the increasing dominance of social media have transformed traditional marketing approaches, making digital engagement essential for institutions to remain competitive and relevant. This research explores how STIKOM CKI can leverage digital marketing strategies to improve brand visibility, increase student enrollment, and strengthen institutional capital. The study identifies key challenges faced by STIKOM CKI, including limited brand awareness, underutilization of digital tools, and ineffective stakeholder engagement strategies. To address these issues, the research proposes adopting advanced digital tools such as social media analytics, search engine optimization (SEO), and customer relationship management (CRM) systems. The findings highlight the effectiveness of platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn in reaching prospective students and other stakeholders. Additionally, the research emphasizes the importance of staying ahead of emerging digital trends, including artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and automated marketing solutions. Implementing AI-driven chatbots, personalized email campaigns, and predictive analytics can significantly enhance marketing effectiveness. In conclusion, a well-planned, data-driven digital marketing strategy will enable STIKOM CKI to attract and retain students, build stronger industry partnerships, and ensure sustainable institutional growth. By continuously adapting to the evolving digital landscape, the institution can secure its long-term success and maintain a competitive edge in the education sector.

Abstract

Driven by rapid urbanization and population growth, Indonesia is still struggling with food waste management, which raises major environmental, social and economic concerns. Conventional waste disposal methods such as landfilling and open dumping have exacerbated soil contamination, health risks and greenhouse gas emissions, therefore stressing the immediate need for more sustainable solutions. This study evaluates the feasibility of establishing a food waste recycling business utilizing TTT enzyme-based technology, which converts food waste into organic compost fertilizers within merely three hours – allowing significant improvement over traditional composting methods that typically require weeks or months. The research adopts a mixed methods and approaches, combining quantitative data collected from surveys targeting Jabodetabek and Bandung residents with qualitative data gathered from literature reviews and expert interviews. Key findings show that TTT enzyme-based technology promotes sustainable agriculture and support circular economy by offering faster processing, lower costs and greener environmental impact. Financial analysis results in strong viability and investment attractiveness, with a projected annual revenue of IDR 108.5 billion and a net profit margin of 27.66%. This study concludes that TTT enzyme-based technology has the potentials to transform food waste management in Indonesia, therefore fostering environmental sustainability and economic resilience throughout the nation.

Abstract

The ability of auditors to detect fraud is a crucial aspect in maintaining the integrity and transparency of financial statements. In the midst of the complexity and dynamics of the business world, fraudulent practices in financial statements are growing, so auditors are required to have better skills and abilities in detecting these actions. The results showed that redflags had an effect on the auditor's ability to detect fraud, while the auditor's personality and time pressure had no effect on the auditor's ability to detect fraud. The training moderated the influence of auditor personality on auditors' ability to detect fraud, but did not moderate the influence of redflags and time pressure on auditors' ability to detect fraud.

Abstract

The Khumnoh limestone deposits of Kashmir, situated within the tectonically active northwestern Himalayas, hold significant economic potential for the cement industry. However, a comprehensive geochemical and mineralogical evaluation is essential to ascertain their suitability for industrial applications. This study integrates major and trace element geochemistry, petrographic analysis, and industrial feasibility assessments to characterize the limestone’s composition, depositional history, and potential for clinker production. A total of eight representative limestone samples were systematically collected and subjected to X-ray fluorescence (XRF), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and petrographic investigations. The geochemical analysis reveals that the CaO content ranges from 50.12% to 54.89%, with low SiO₂, Al₂O₃, and Fe₂O₃ concentrations, indicating high chemical purity. The trace element profiling exhibits minimal Mn, Sr, and P₂O₅, further enhancing its desirability for cement manufacturing. Petrographic observations confirm the dominance of fine- to medium-grained calcite with minor dolomitization and siliceous impurities, suggesting a shallow marine depositional environment with diagenetic overprinting. The findings demonstrate that the Khumnoh limestone meets international cement-grade standards (ASTM C150, BIS 4032-2022), positioning it as a viable raw material for clinker production. However, localized variations in siliceous and argillaceous intercalations necessitate beneficiation strategies to optimize its industrial utility. The study also underscores the imperative of sustainable extraction practices, given the region’s geological sensitivity and ecological constraints.This research provides a scientific framework for resource evaluation, industrial application, and sustainable utilization of the Khumnoh limestone. The results hold critical implications for cement manufacturing, regional economic development, and strategic raw material management in the Himalayan domain.

However, scalability, economic feasibility, and regulatory constraints remain major challenges. The findings suggest that, while green chemistry holds immense potential for sustainability, overcoming these limitations will require interdisciplinary collaboration, regulatory support, and continuous innovation.
