Abstract

Pekalongan City is a region on the northern coast of Java with a sloping topography and is susceptible to the increasing sea level, which can result in tidal floods. As previous research revealed, ten villages in three districts, including coastal areas, are vulnerable to tidal floods. Moreover, the vulnerability analysis based on BNPB Head Regulation (Perka) No. 2 of 2012 unveiled that seven out of ten villages in three districts have a high risk of tidal floods. Pekalongan City experienced a tidal flood that swamped 16 villages in three districts at the beginning of 2021. It was the result of heavy rains and strong tides along the northern shore. The tidal flood caused damage to a variety of sectors, including agriculture, communities, infrastructure, and clean water sanitation. Information technology development was employed in disaster management, making it simpler to acquire data for predicting future disasters, obtaining data in disaster-affected areas, and implementing mitigation in disaster-prone areas. This study collected data through interviews and a literature review. This research created Android applications simulating a water level monitoring system using the flutter framework. Firebase was utilized as a database for authentication, while Google Maps Platform was deployed to display maps during the application simulation. It is anticipated that the simulation of the water level monitoring system will be the first step in building the water level monitoring system in Pekalongan City. Hence, residents of Pekalongan City can utilize it to assist with mobility issues during floods.

Abstract

Alif Stone Park is a geosite tourism or rock garden that originated from pre-historic times. It has giant granite stones arranged beautifully along the shores of Sepempang Village, East Bunguran District, Natuna Regency, Riau Islands. Geosite tourism or rock garden is one of the tours that is in great demand by local visitors or visitors from outside who visit Natuna Regency because it has its own historical value and is a target for a photo spot for visitors. But Alif Stone Park has a drawback, namely it does not have a permanent Tour Guide and information that can explain about Alif Stone Park itself. To facilitate the service of providing information on Alif Stone Park, we need a website that is easy to access by visitors. So that when visitors want to know what information is in the Alif Stone Park tourist attractions, visitors have no trouble accessing the website later. The QR code will lead to a website containing Alif Stone Park tourist attractions from their history, origins, location of tourist attractions, information on tourist attractions in Alif Stone Park and others. Therefore, a website was created that uses a qr code scan system. It is hoped that the website or system that has been created can run and help well visitors who will come to visit Alif Stone Park. In making the Alif Stone Park website there are 6 stages that are carried out namely Requirement Gathering, Requirement Analysis, Requirement Specification, Prototyping, Implementation, and Testing. The 6 stages are carried out in stages. In the testing phase, there are 3 tests, namely Developer Testing, Owner Testing, and Visitor Testing. Based on the results obtained from the implementation phase and the testing phase, it can be concluded that the Alif Stone Park website has been successfully created, including the features on the website. The scan system on the website was also successfully created and running well. This website can be accessed using a Qr Code where visitors only need to scan from their respective smartphones.

Abstract

Pregnancy is still a major health issue at present. Statistics demonstrate an annual increase in pregnancies. Monitoring pregnant women involves undergoing regular checkups to verify the fetus’s health. However, many midwives still manually enter data in ledgers. Therefore, this study designed an application to assist midwives in saving and displaying data to monitor the health of pregnant women, allowing the stored data to be easily obtained and saving midwife storage space. This application is exclusively accessible to midwives due to the restricted periodic health checkups for pregnant women. This application was developed using the spring boot and flutter frameworks. In the final stage, testing was performed on the designed features. Keywords: .

Abstract

Since 2017, the Karanglo Asri Waste Bank has been operating with three core managers, including the chairman, secretary, and treasurer, as well as 32 active customers. Residents have been educated on identifying waste that can be resold to collectors or transformed into fertilizers and handicrafts using a waste bank maintained by a local government agency. The staff of the waste bank has continued to write by hand, and each has his or her notebook. Nonetheless, administrative books include hurdles—for instance, errors in recording, destruction, loss, improper computations, and unstructured records. Therefore, the customers must resolve these issues by matching the terms and criteria. The User-Centered-Design method included three phases for determining the requirements of the Karanglo Asri Waste Bank. They generated four user journey maps, four use case diagrams, six activity diagrams, and eighty-four user stories. It was completed for testing by the managers and customers based on requirements derived from the needs of the Karanglo Asri Waste Bank’s staff and customers.

Abstract

The design and build of the Unires student dormitory management system of UMY integrated with the campus system with the Laravel framework aim to aid office and development staff. This system contained two types and several levels of roles. The roles were on the staff and resident sides. Concerning the staff, the roles comprised the director, staff, caregivers, technicians, new student admission committees (penmaru), launders, and examiners. Meanwhile, on the resident side, it consisted of the supervisor, senior, senior assistant, and resident. Access and features for each position varied based on the requirements of the function. The login for staff required a username and password freely determined. On the other hand, the resident position utilized the Single Sign-On procedure connected with UMY. Display for staff was standard with widescreen sizes. Unlike the system for staff, the residents’ display had a mobile-first design, meaning that it looks best on a tiny screen but is still legible when viewed on a large screen. Through the Bureau of Information System (BSI) of UMY, this system was also indirectly linked to the bank’s payment system. This technology would make the management and development of student dormitories simpler, more effective, and more efficient.
