Focus and Scope Jurnal Perempuan dan Anak (JPA) merupakan media komunikasi dan informasi terkait dengan perempuan dan anak. JPA diterbitkan oleh Lembaga Pengkajian, Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Anak (LP3A) Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, sejak Januari 2013. JPA dikembangkan dengan maksud untuk mendorong peran dan perkembangan perempuan dan anak melalui publikasi hasil-hasil penelitian dan telaah kritis (review) terhadap perempuan dan anak dari berbagai aspek kajian. Abstract

One of the main capitals in the era of industry 4.0 is creative Human Resources. Creativity here means the ability to always innovate and be able to provide intelligent solutions of problems that arise in the community. Youth as the nation's greatest asset must continue to be encouraged to hone its creativity. Developing game apps is one way to hone this creativity. Because when creating a game app, one is required to imagine, but it remains logical. Hisbul Wathan, as one of the scouting organizations in Indonesia, which fosters the younger generation, is expected to play an active role in the development of Industry 4.0. Therefore, in this Community Service activity, will be given training on the creation of game applications to hone the logical thinking skills of hisbul wathan scouting movement cadres, especially for Kwarda Kota Batu.

Abstract

Each marriage must have a problem, no exception to the newly married couple. Individuals who have intimacy in their marriage will be easier to deal with the conflicts that occur with their partner. One of the things that allegedly caused women's difficulties to bring intimacy to her husband was the woman's relationship with past experiences that were closely related to parental care, especially dad. The purpose of this research is to know the relationship of father involvement in parenting with intimacy to husbands. The research design used is quantitative correlational. The Instrument for measuring both variables in the study uses the father's involvement scale in parenting and the intimacy scale. The research location is in a sub-district in Malang Regency with the number of subjects 99 wife and sampling techniques using purposive sampling. The research subject criteria are: aged between 18- 25 years old, taken care of by father until 18 years old, not going through long distance relationship with her husband, minimum 1 year marriage and minimum number of children is one person. Data analysis using product moment. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between the involvement of the father in the care of intimacy against the husband with the value of coefficiencies R = 0.397, with significance p = 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

The present community service highlights life skill program for women empowerment. Particularly, the current community empowerment program involves members of PKK of RT 03 RW 02 Sumbersekar, Dau Malang. There are currently 32 members in the organization that comes from different socio-economic background. In terms of entrepreneurial skills, the women in the particular organization have limited knowledge and skill in entrepreneurship. Based on the observation and confirmed with the result of interview, most of the women who are the member of PKK RT 03 RW 02 are low-middle class family who rely on the husbands’ income from farming. Given that most of the members relies on agricultural sector as their income, most of them do not have a sufficient educational background. Although the community has issue with limited fund to support their program, they have a good creativity. In addition, given that the Gender Empowerment Index in East Java is still low, the present community empowerment program intends to offer solution to empower the women at PKK RT 03 RW 02 Sumbersekar with the expectation that it will not only provide more space for their creativity but also their financial support. In accordance to that, the present community service program is not only aims to empower the women, but also improve their economics. The results indicated that the program ran successfully although it was conducted in the COVID 19 pandemic. Some adjustments have been made, but it did not change the fact the target communities obtained the positive effect from the empowerment program.

Abstract

Broken home is a condition where a family experienced a split caused by conflicts or disputes, disagreements between married couples. From the inability of married couples in maintaining the family, most couples eventually decided to have a divorce. This condition results the children to be the victims of parental divorce. It results in depression state of the child even to the frustration that is difficult to control and regulated. This study aims to find out, and describe 1) The child interaction pattern of the divorce victims with family members in Ronggomulyo Village Tuban Regency. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative research method. The data were obtained from observation, interview, and documentation. The research subjects have been selected based on certain criteria using purposive sampling technique. This study uses Symbolic Interactionism theory by George Herbert Mead. The results of this study are 1) The subject understanding of divorce is painful 2) The subject understanding of parent after divorce is parent experience a change in attitude 3) The subject’s actions after the divorce is changes in behavior 4) The subject’s interaction with the family members after the divorce in this research is dissociative and associative.

Abstract

The Gender perspective of family planning participants in Malang, especially in the KB village, Bareng, because according to the Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population and Family Planning (DP3AP2KB) Office, is located at Jl. Ki Ageng Gribig No.5 Malang Postal Code 65173. Having a vision that is "The realization of community empowerment, population control and the realization of gender equality and protection of women and children". BKBPM also mediates the strategy and policy direction planned by the Malang city government, namely increasing the empowerment of the poor, increasing the empowerment and protection of women and children. As well as improving the quality of family planning and family welfare (DP3AP2KB, 2016). The results of the discussion stated that the number of family planning participants in RW 08 was 329 or 54.92 percent of the number of PUS (couples of childbearing age) of 599. The most enjoyed contraceptive method is an IUD of 98 or 29.78 percent. Whereas for MKJP KB (long-term method of family planning contraception) participants (Long Term Contraception Method) by 13 or 40.42 percent, and the most usage was NON MKJP which was 59.74 percent. Based on the Gender Perspective, only 66 of the 329 KB participants or only 20% of the male participants are involved. This is based on the results of interviews in the family many mothers who do not approve of her husband using the Vasectomy Contraception method, also due to suspicion if the husband uses it will be misused misused on other women (anonymous), other than that the causes of Unmet need factors: Side effects on health, prohibitions from spouse or husband, discomfort, costs to be incurred, do not want to bother, subjective experience does not use contraception does not occur in pregnancy.
