Abstract

Floods that occur due to the overflowing of Gude River are the main problem in Jombang Regency. Gude River is a river with a length of 8.67 km that flows from Gudo sub-district behind the Sengfong company which is split into the Gude Denanyar River and the Gude Ploso River.  This study discusses the normalization of Gude River capacity at a 20 year return period using HEC-RAS software. In this study, the method used to calculate the design flood is Nakayasu unit synthetic hydrograph and the HEC-RAS software for flow simulation modeling. The calculation result of the flood discharge with a return period of 2 years is 76,89 m3/sec, at 5 years it is 91,59 m3/sec, at 25 years it is 113,62 m3/sec, at 50 years it is 122,75 m3/sec, and at 100 years is 131,80 m3/sec. Based on the discharge data and topographical data of Gude River that has been inputted at the HEC-RAS, it shows that the overflow occurs in almost all river cross sections except at Sta 0, Sta 14, and Sta 17. Normalization can be carried out to overcome the overflow of Gude River, by dredging sedimentation as deep as 1,5 meters and constructing embankments on both sides of the river with a height of 1.3 meters.

Abstract

Transportation is a transfer from one place to another with a mode of transportation both land, sea and air. Public transportation is a mode of public service transportation that has a function in providing transportation services in the form of passenger comfort, very affordable fares and a sense of security for public transportation passengers.. This study was conducted to determine the overlap of the existence of BRT Trans Jateng (Mangkang-Weleri) on Regional Public Transportation in Kendal Regency as a solution or alternative policy that can be done to overcome the impact of the overlap. In this study using quantitative methods with observation techniques in the field, interview methods, questionnaires and documentation. The result of this study is the analysis of data that has been conducted field observations as well as the dissemination of questionnaires on the situation of BRT Trans Jateng passengers (Makang –Weleri) as a descriptive analysis. The results of this research data analysis showed the impact of overlap in BRT Trans Jateng (Mangkang-Weleri) on Regional Public Transportation in Kendal by 54.2%. Some alternative policies that can be done to reduce the impact of overlap such as scheduling the departure of public transportation BRT Trans Jateng (Mangkang-Weleri) can be conditioned with regional public transportation. In addition, there is a cooperation between the Provincial Government of Central Java and The Government of Kendal and the owner of AUD (Regional Public Transport) in Kendal Regency related to the departure schedule of the BRT Trans-Jateng (Mangkang-Weleri) bus fleet with Regional Public Transport.

Abstract

In mid-2017 there was a fairly large storm on the north coast of Java which resulted in quite a large amount of coastal abrasion in the tourist attraction "Pulau Tiban" Kartikajaya Village, Patebon District, Kendal Regency, so that tourism activities stopped. This research aims to determine the process of abrasion and the impact felt by the surrounding community due to the destruction of the tourist attraction "Pulau Tiban" in Kartikajaya Village. While the method used is observation with remote sensing methods, namely using the Google Earth application to determine the level of abrasion process from year to year and interviews to determine the impact of abrasion on tourist attraction activities. From the observations, it can be seen that sedimentation and accretion occurred from 2013 to 2017, experiencing a significant increase, reaching a maximum area of more than 8.2 hectares with an annual average of 1.27 hectares. Meanwhile, the abrasion that occurred in the 2017 to 2019 period and almost submerged the “Pulau Tiban” Beach Tourism Object of 2.5 ha/year. With the SPSS 26.0 application in 2020, the level of validity can be seen by comparing r count with Sig 1-tailed, data validity is seen if r count ? Sig.1-tailed with a significance of 0.05 or 5%. To find r table, where df=N-2 then r table is 0.3172 while the value of the sample question gets the value of r count=0.778 which is greater than the value of r table = 0.3172 so that the question is said to be valid.

Abstract

Every construction work must have a big influence on work accidents. Occupational safety and health (K3) issues in construction services in general are often ignored. This shows the number of work accidents in this sector. Facts in the field of occupational safety and health (K3) implementation are still rarely done, because it only takes away time, first, it costs quite a lot for K3 needs. Therefore, this research will examine the planning of the Estimated Cost of Risk Prevention and OHS Supervision Costs in Office Construction Projects in Surabaya. The method used is making direct observations in the field, identifying accidents in the field, analyzing each sub-job in fulfilling K3 needs, interviews, officers and taking documentation in the field. From this research obtained for the cost (K3) Rp. 51,975,000, - and for the contract fee is Rp. 3,250,336,000, - so the percentage is 1.62%. The K3 needs evaluation plan is carried out using SNI and ANSI standards. The conclusion that can be drawn is that the OSH costs do not have a major effect on the overall project costs if calculated in detail, precisely with the K3 financing calculations it will be younger for companies to see the OHS costs that will be used for the Kalidami office building construction project in Surabaya.

Abstract

Waste problem occurs in Blitar City is the Ngegong Final Processing Site (Landfill), which only has an area of 5,095 hectares. Meanwhile, the increasing number of people will certainly lead to more and more piles of garbage. The landfill in Blitar City is now filled with around 143,700 m3 of the total capacity of 177,000 m3. Currently, it is only able to accommodate about 33,300 m3 of waste. Therefore, land expansion is needed to accommodate landfill in the next 10 years. After calculating using the geometric method, it is known that the expansion of the landfill requires an area of 1.24 hectares. At the same time, population growth in 2030 is estimated to reach 598,918 people by assuming the projected volume of landfills in 2030 is around 141.69 tonnes. Therefore, the need for waste management facilities and infrastructure in 2030 is predicted to be 25 units in the form of garbage carts accompanied by 6 units of other waste transportation fleets in the form of arm roll trucks. Subsequently, this is a common problem in the city where the handlers need side-by-side steps between the community and the government with waste at its source and preserve the 3R culture in the community.

Abstract

Irrigation is an important factor in the world of agriculture, Batang Regency is one of the regencies where the majority of the population is farmers. There are several sources or uses of water in agricultural irrigation, including by making a weir or dam. Batang Regency has several technical weirs including the Kenconorejo weir. Kenconorejo Weir Building has several complementary buildings including the weir lighthouse, weir drain door, intake gate, drainage gate and tertiary channel. The tertiary network of the Kenconorejo Irrigation Area has a total length of 8,050 m and a total agricultural area of 712 ha. With quite a long tertiary channel in the tertiary network of the Kenconorejo Irrigation Area, some of the tertiary buildings were damaged, including in the Jrakahpayung Village and Karanggeneng Villages. The results of the calculation of the discharge of tertiary channels in Kenconorejo are obtained, Jrakahpayung Village 36 l/sec with a land area of 18 ha, Kedungsegog 320 l/sec with a land area of 210 ha, Kenconorejo1 212 l / sec with an area of 150 ha, Kenconorejo2 260 l/sec with an area of 148 ha, Ponowareng Village 185 l / sec with an area of 120 ha, and the last is Karanggeneng Village with a total discharge of 94 l / sec and an area of 66 ha. And with the existence of several damaged small complementary buildings, this is of course homework for the PSDA Office which has the authority to manage irrigation systems in a government agency.

Abstract

The existence of waste is still a problem that affects almost all regions in Indonesia. Leachate is a liquid produced from the decomposition of waste in landfills which can seep into the ground and can contaminate groundwater and its surroundings. Until now, waste management, such as recycling waste or directly dumping it into a landfill, can be done using the Landfill method (landfilling) or an incinerator (incineration) is still needed to solve the waste problem. This discussion is to examine the impact of leachate channels on the environment, leachate management systems and land requirements. This study was conducted at the location of the Kenep Final Disposal Site in Pasuruan Regency. Therefore, efforts to manage existing leachate water are needed before discharge to a receiving water body or river. In this discussion, the leachate discharge value of 0,689 lt/dt was obtained so that the results for the dimensions of the Leachate Management Installation were obtained for the Stabilization Pool area 85.04 m², depth of 3.5 m, long 10 m, wide 8.5 m, and an efficiency of 67%. The Facultative pool area 198.43 m², depth of 3 m, long 15 m, wide 13.23 m, and an efficiency of 50%. The Maturation Pool area 198.43 m², depth of 3 m, long 15 m, wide 13.23 m and an efficiency of 50%. And it takes a widening of the area for the Kenep Final Disposal Site in Pasuruan Regency by 0.6 hectares or 6000 m².
