Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership, work motivation and work environment on employee performance at PDAM Surakarta Head Office, either partially or simultaneously. The study consisted of one dependent variable and three independent variables. The independent variables in this study were leadership (X1), work motivation (X2) and work environment (X3). The dependent variable in this study is employee performance (Y). This research is a quantitative case study. The target population was selected by using the census sampling technique (saturated). The census technique is a sampling technique if all members of the population are used as samples. Given the relatively small population in this study, which is less than 100, in this study the research sample was taken using the census technique so that all the population in this study were taken as samples, so the sample of this study amounted to 85 respondents. Analysis of the data used in this study is the research instrument test, multiple linear regression test, t test, F test and the coefficient of determination test. The results showed that the variables of leadership, work motivation and work environment had a significant effect on employee performance. These three variables have a significant effect on employee performance simultaneously. The most dominant variable that influences employee performance in this study is the leadership variable, considering that the regression coefficient value for the leadership variable in this study is greater than the regression coefficient for the other variables, which is 0.788.

Abstract

The results of the analysis and discussion that can be taken in this study are that partially Net Profit Margin and Receivable Turnover have a positive and significant effect on Return On Asset in large trading sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2016-2019. This is evidenced by the value of the coefficient of the Net Profit Margin variable which is positive and the significance value of 0.000 is smaller than the limit of the significance value of 0,05, and the value of tcount (9,029) is greater than the ttable value (1,67655), and the coefficient value. Receivable Turnover variable which is positive and the significance value of 0,000 is smaller than the limit of the significance value of 0,05, and the value of tcount (5,905) is greater than the value of ttable (1,67655). Meanwhile, the Debt To Asset Ratio has a positive coefficient value but does not have a significant effect on Return On Asset in large trading sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2016-2019 period. This is evidenced by the value of the coefficient of the Debt To Asset Ratio variable which is positive and a significance value of 0,377 is greater than the limit of the significance value of 0,05, and the value of tcount (0,891) is smaller than the ttable value (1,67655). Simultaneously, Net Profit Margin, Debt To Asset Ratio, and Receivable Turnover have an effect on Return On Asset in large trading sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2016-2019 period. This is evidenced by the significance coefficient value on the test results simultaneously (ANOVA). The significance value of 0,000 is smaller than the limit of the significance value of 0.05 and the value of Fcount (37,769) is greater than the value of Ftable (2,79).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of sales promotion, advertising and personal selling on purchasing decisions at PT Great Mataram Surakarta. The population in this study were consumers of PT Great Mataram Surakarta which consisted of a pharmacy and a hospital with a total of 2219. The sampling method used was purposive sample with a total of 100 respondents. Data collection techniques using interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used the t test, F test, multiple linear regression analysis and the coefficient of determination. The results of the data analysis technique using the t test obtained a value of 4.199, which means that it has a significant effect on purchasing decisions. The results of the data analysis technique using the F test obtained a value of 34.625, which means a simultaneous significant effect on purchasing decisions. The results of the data analysis technique using the coefficient of determination obtained a value of 0.505, which means that the effect of all independent variables on the dependent variable is 50.5% while the rest is explained by other variables. The results of the data analysis technique using multiple linear regression obtained a value (constant) of 0.791, the value of the coefficient of X1 0.548, the value of the coefficient of X2 was 0.456, the value of the coefficient of X3 was 0.316. The conclusion from the test results of each hypothesis shows that sales promotion has a significant effect on purchasing decisions, advertising has a significant effect on purchasing decisions, personal selling has a significant effect on purchasing decisions and sales promotion, advertising and personal selling have a significant effect simultaneously on purchasing decisions at PT. Great Mataram Surakarta Branch.

Abstract

Work Accidents are accidents that occur related to work, including diseases that arise due to work relations, as well as accidents that occur on the way to and from work. Work accidents can occur with risks ranging from low, medium, or high, one of which is when steel smelting which is an activity to melt steel so that an iron rod (billet) is produced which is then formed into various materials needed. Work safety can certainly be measured using a method called HIRADC. This method is able to provide identification of hazards, assessments and risks that may occur in steel smelting using a scale based on the resulting potential. This study aims to identify hazards and assess the risk of accidents in the steel smelting process at CV Sumber Wahyu using the HIRADC method. The result is that there are 36 risks with low, medium and high risk variations. The level of safety control on CV Sumber Wahyu is still very low, so various additional safety tools are needed  must be owned.

Abstract

This research is intended to determine the effect of leadership and work environment on employee performance at PT. Damases Sejahtera both partially and simultaneously. This research was a quantitative case study. Secondary data obtained from the data collected by using the questionnaire with the number of samples of 108 respondents. The results showed partially (t-test statistically) all leadership variables and work environment positive and significant to the employee performance at PT. Damases Sejahtera. The results showed simultaneously (F-test statistically) leadership and work environment significantly to the employee performance at PT. Damases Sejahtera.

Abstract

The success of a university is very dependent on the performance of its lecturers, for that the performance of lecturers must receive the main attention. Pratama Mulia Surakarta Polytechnic is a private university with 34 permanent lecturers, 28 of whom have been certified, of which 64% are over 50 years old. With an age that is no longer young, the lecturers are required to continue to have good performance by always following changes in both teaching, research and community service.This study aims to examine the effect of competence, work motivation, commitment, lecturer certification and work discipline on the performance of certified lecturers at Politama Surakarta. The population in this study were all 27 certified lecturers. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to all lecturers who were certified lecturers. The empirical test uses Multiple Regression with the dependent variable: Lecturer Performance and 5 independent variables: competence, work motivation, commitment, lecturer certification and work discipline. The results showed: competence and commitment affect the performance of lecturers; while work motivation, lecturer certification and discipline do not affect lecturer performance. With this research, it is hoped that it can be used as input to improve the performance of certified lecturers.
