Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a learning device for the KADIR (Koneksi, Aplikasi, Diskursus, Improvisasi, Refleksi) model learning based on android media to improve problem solving and mathematical communication skills. This research is research and development with ADDIE (analyze, design, development, implement, evaluation) design. Expert validation data collection uses Google Form sheets, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis uses validity, effectiveness and practicality techniques. The results of the study revealed that the average result of the student Worksheet product assessment developed was 4.74 (adequate). The conclusion of this study is that the development of the KADIR model learning device based on Android media that was developed is valid, effective and practical so that it can be used to improve problem solving and mathematical communication skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Visual Spatial Intelligence and Kinesthetic Intelligence with Mathematics learning outcomes for junior high school students. The method used is a survey method with a correlation technique that is looking for a relationship between Visual Spatial Intelligence and Kinesthetic Intelligence with Mathematics learning outcomes through a survey using Google Forms. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 184 Jakarta and a sample of 100 students was taken. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive random sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire and a test of learning outcomes. The results of the study show the results of the first hypothesis that there is no significant relationship between Visual Spatial Intelligence and student learning outcomes. The second hypothesis is that there is a significant relationship between Kinesthetic Intelligence and student learning outcomes. The third hypothesis is that there is no simultaneous relationship between Visual Spatial Intelligence and Kinesthetic Intelligence and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Each student's learning style has different tendencies. A student if he knows the tendency of his learning style, then he will do the right way so that he is more effective in learning. Diagnosis of learning styles can be done using the help of an application. By using the application one can easily learn in a style like when consulting with an expert. The type of research conducted is Research and Development (R&D). The R&D process uses the waterfall method which includes the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation and testing. The results of the study revealed that the media expert's average score was 3.04 (decent). Students' positive response to the learning style diagnosis application developed was 3.3 or 82.50% which was classified as very good.

Abstract

Mathematical self-efficacy is a person's self-confidence in mathematics. The perceived ability of students towards mathematics lessons provides the right action in solving any math problems or real life in general. Diagnosing the level of self-efficacy can be done using the help of an application. Using a self-efficacy diagnostic application is the same as consulting an expert. The type of research conducted is Research and Development (R&D). The research method uses the ADDIE stages which include the analysis, design, development and implementation stages. The results of the study revealed that the media expert's average score was 4.05 (decent). Students' positive response to the self- efficacy diagnostic application developed was 3.5 or 85% which was classified as very good. So the self-efficacy diagnostic application can be used as an alternative to determine the level of students' self-efficacy towards mathematics

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how to explore the way junior high school mathematics teachers taught during Covid 19. This research was carried out in schools in the Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta in the even semester of the 2020-2021 school year. The research method used was a qualitative approach with this type of research. case study (case study). Data collection techniques by observation, interviews and documentation. The research subjects were junior high school teachers who taught in Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta, consisting of 7 math teachers, 4 male teachers and 3 female teachers. This study used technical triangulation, namely checking data using different techniques to match exploratory data on how junior high school teachers taught mathematics during Covid 19 with observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results of the study show that learning during the Covid 19 era brought significant changes in the way junior high school mathematics teachers taught, which was shown in several aspects studied.
