Abstract

Abstract: Television media is a very potential media. As a medium in the form of audio-visual, television is able to seize 94% of the channel for the entry of messages and information to individuals. The easy dissemination of information through television media, especially news, makes ordinary people believe all the news displayed in the television. Therefore, it is necessary to know the production process of television media, especially beirta programs that most often affect the public. This study aims to find out how the editorial management system of SSB news programs at JTV Madiun. Data collection techniques in this study included interviews, observations, and documentation, with analysis using the Miles and Hubermand model. And honed with the knife of analysis, namely peter pringgless's mass media theory where there are 4 steps, namely Planning, Organizing, Implementing, and Evaluating. The approach taken by the researcher is a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of the study were obtained: 1) SSB planning is carried out unsystematically, so that it can cause miscommunication, 2) SSB organizing is in accordance with the theory by placing employees according to their abilities, 3) the production stage is well implemented, so that there are rarely obstacles, 4) Evaluation is rarely carried out, so that employees do not know the development of the SSB program.

Abstract

Writing articles using qualitative methods of content analysis. Data collection techniques were carried out through literature research in the form of books, scientific journals, theses, and theses. While the observation process is carried out on digital media and mass media, to obtain data that supports the writing of articles. This article concludes that proficiency in digital literacy is an undoubted necessity amidst the serious use of the internet by the Indonesian people, where currently there are 197 million internet users in Indonesia. This is an obligation for the government and policymakers to ensure that every nation's child can use social media and the internet in the digital era properly and wisely. Do not let us be negligent in using the digital space, thus setting aside moral values and decency and ultimately causing material and non-material harm from an economic standpoint. We believe through skills in using the internet in this digital era can change and bring progress to the nation, state and society. In this new era, there is no other decision except that Indonesia's people must have sufficient capabilities, both in number and level of skills or abilities regarding digital literacy.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the Communication Strategy of the General Elections Commission (KPU), to analyze the factors that influence public participation and to identify the barriers to increasing public participation. The researcher used a qualitative research approach, with data collection procedures using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used is the Miles and Huberman model data analysis technique which is carried out interactively and also takes place continuously including: data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing and verification. The results of this study are the strategies used by the Nganjuk KPU in increasing community participation by conducting face-to-face activities directly, carrying out activities that attract public attention, providing information through various media, using democratic volunteers to invite various segments of society. Factors that influence the increase in community participation are public awareness of elections, voter socialization and education, the role of election participants and finally the role of local governments and stakeholders. Then the obstacles to improving the community are administrative constraints, time, lack of human resources in the internet segment, election day elections, lack of coordination between KPU officers and KPPS.

Abstract

Abstract: The research method in this study using qualitative research approach with descriptive analysis. Data collection using interview and documentation. Data analysis technique using Ronald D. Smith’s theory that’s strategic planning for public relations with four stages of branding awareness: formative research, strategy, tactics, and evaluative research. The result of the study is (1) PT. Natural Nusantara is a company that using multi level marketing business system. NASA’s strategy to introducing his products to consumers throught to seminars and training for the members about new product that has been launched. Market analysis, planning and and strategy, tactic of communication also evaluation from the event arranged by the company. (2) A supporting factor in building NASA's brand awareness is the presence of technicians or consultants from each field in the product category who are really qualified, and the obstacle factor is the information system and NASA’s business system can’t entering to the digital platform specifically marketplace because it is prohibited by the Ministry of Trade.

Abstract

Abstract: The advantages of social media make it a popular medium to use. Jurnal 12 is a YouTube channel engaged in journalism. Carrying the topic of Indonesia's achievements, Jurnal 12 managed to get an audience of up to tens of thousands. The topic of Indonesia's achievements rarely gets attention. This study aims to explain the editorial techniques of Jurnal 12 in writing news and how the editorial staff of Jurnal 12 improves the quality of news. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, using observation, documentation, and interview data collection procedures. The results from this study are:(1) in the October 1-31, 2021 edition, Jurnal 12 does not meet the rules of news writing. Jurnal 12 does not use leads; the use of the 'when' element is not optimal in formulating news. Jurnal 12 uses an inverted pyramid structure and always uses quotes. (2) to improve the quality of news, Jurnal 12 focuses on increasing the important elements: characters, conflicts, accuracy, and actuality.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to find out how one of the reports made by the online media Tempo and Kompas in framing news about the postponement of the 2024 election through the framing analysis approach of the Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki model. The method used is descriptive-interpretative research. Researchers interpret news about the issue of delaying the 2024 presidential election by taking news samples from the online media Tempo and Kompas which were published on April 10 and 12, 2022. The results of this study are 1) News carried out by Tempo tend to be neutral and as it is, in contrast to Kompas which include opinions from political communication experts 2) both news stories have used inverted pyramid systematics. It can be seen from the leads in both news. The difference is that Tempo media reports tend to be short but dense, while Kompas is quite long because it adds news content by including opinions from political communication experts.

Abstract

Abstract: In the era of advanced technology today, there are many ways to preach. One way used when today is forming a migration community. Hijrah Community @ngajiasik.id. This community carries the concept of young people, with a student who is cool and principled that the recitation is fun. Strategies can be interpreted as a method of gathering information and organizing, so that it can estimate a hypothesis. The method used for this study is a qualitative research method, using observation methods and interviews as a method of data collection in this study. The Hijrah @ ngajiasik.id community plays a role in moving the community to provide a means of improving the quality of public faith and spreading Islamic da'wah widely. The strategy used in preaching is to use a contemporary da'wah strategy. The strategy used in the dissemination of da'wah is the determination of the objectives of the da'wah, preparation of the implementation of the strategy, the preparation of plans, and the process of implementing the strategy.
