Abstract

Mi basah merupakan makanan berbahan dasar tepung terigu yang sangat populer. Pemakaian tepung terigu pada mi basah dapat disubstitusikan dengan bahan lain diantaranya umbi talas. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui formulasi terbaik antara tepung terigu dan umbi talas kukus agar dihasilkan mi basah yang dapat diterima oleh konsumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan dengan penambahan umbi talas berpengaruh nyata terhadap kadar air, cooking time, warna dan tekstur. Perlakuan terbaik dimiliki oleh substitusi 10% umbi talas kukus. Sifat fisikokimia mi basah umbi talas memiliki rata-rata kadar air 28,46%, abu 0,82%, protein 9,29%, cooking loss 2,88% dan cooking time 5,32 menit. Hasil analisis hedonik terbaik yaitu warna 3,92 (suka), tekstur 3,76 (suka), rasa 3,52 (suka).Kata kunci: mi, substitusi, talas

Abstract

This study aims to determine the attitude of the community towards waste (odor and dust), the presence of flies caused by livestock business, and the contribution of quail livestock business to the people around the quail, Siantan Hilir Village, North Pontianak Subdistrict, precisely at Budi Utomo Street, Taman Anggrek Complex. The duration of the study is 30 days, namely on December 17, 2018 until January 17, 2019. This type of research is survey research. The data sources used are primary data obtained from giving questionnaires, and secondary data obtained from agencies related to this study. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Data analysis used is descriptive statistical analysis, using a grouping model, simplification, and presentation such as frequency distribution tables and measurements using a Likert scale. The sample determined on the Slovin formula sample size amounted to 42 respondents. Variables of community attitudes with sub-variables of this observation are Waste, Smell, Flies, and Contributions. The overall results of the community's assessment of odor (85%), flies (81%), and waste (83%) showed very agreeable indicators which meant that people were very disturbed by the existence of quail livestock business in community settlements. While the community's assessment of contribution (36%) shows an indicator of disagreement which means that quail livestock business does not contribute to the surrounding community.  Keywords: Odor, Flies, Waste, and Contributions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperbaiki tekstur tanah podsolik merah kuning (PMK) dengan bokasi pelepah lidah buaya dan meningkatkan hasil tanaman bawang sabrang pada tanah podsolik merah kuning. Penelitian ini dimulai dari 23 Maret sampai 12 Juli 2018. Penelitian dilaksanakan di jalan Parit H.Husein II, Komplek Mutiara Gading D19. Metode yang digunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap terdiri dari 5 perlakuan, 5 ulangan dan setiap ulangan terdapat 4 sampel tanaman. Perlakuan sebagai berikut : (l1) 400 g/polybag, (l2) 800 g/Polybag, (l3) 1200 g/polybag, (l4) 1600 g/polybag dan (l5) 2000 g/polybag. Variabel yang diamati pada penelitian ini adalah Jumlah Daun per Rumpun (helai), Jumlah Anakan per Rumpun (umbi), Jumlah Umbi per Rumpun (umbi), Berat segar Umbi per Tanaman (g), dan Berat Kering Tanaman (g). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian bokasi pelepah lidah buaya dapat memperbaiki tekstur tanah PMK, pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang sabrang di tanah PMK. Penelitian ini tidak ditemukan dosis bokasi pelepah lidah buaya yang terbaik untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang sabrang di tanah PMK, tetapi dosis bokasi pelepah lidah buaya yang efektif ditemukan pada tanaman bawang sabrang yang diberi bokasi dengan dosis 800 g/polybag. Kata kunci: Bawang Sabrang, Bokasi Pelepah Lidah Buaya, Tanah PMK

Abstract

ABSTRAK Padi adalah salah satu tanaman terpenting dalam kehidupan manusia, produksi padi dunia menempati urutan ketiga dari semua sereal setelah jagung, dan gandum. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui perbedaan sifat fisika tanah pada beberapa tingkatan umur pengelolaan lahan sawah tadah hujan di Desa Domet Permai Kecamatan Ella Hilir Kabupaten Melawi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Domet Permai Kecamatan Ella Hilir Kabupaten Melawi. Luas wilayah Desa Domet Permai yaitu 1884,08 ha. Luas sawah tadah hujan yang dijadikan lokasi penelitian seluas 30 ha. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan sifat fisika tanah pada beberapa tingkatan umur pengelolaan lahan sawah tadah hujan di Desa Domet Permai Kecamatan Ella Hilir Kabupaten Melawi. Analisis data dilakukan di laboratorium untuk menentukan tekstur tanah, bobot isi tanah, kadar air tanah, porositas tanah, dan kemantapan agregat tanah dan beberapa sifat kimia seperti pH dan C/N rasio. Hasil pengamatan warna tanah pada lokasi penelitian yaitu abu-abu. Tekstur tanah yaitu lempung berliat, lempung liat berdebu, dan lempung. Hasil uji t menunjukan bahwa bobot isi tanah LA 0-20 dan LB 0-20 berbeda nyata dan selain dari itu hasilnya tidak berbeda nyata. Porositas total tanah antara lokasi LA 0-20 dan LB 0-20, LA 20-40 dan LB 20-40 nilai porositas total tanahnya berbeda nyata dan lainya tidak berbeda nyata. Kadar air kapasitas lapangan lokasi penelitian tidak berbeda nyata. Permeabilitas LA 0-20 dan LB 0-20 ; LA 0-20 dan LC 0-20 ; dan LA 20-40 dan LC 20-40 tidak berbeda nyata. Kedalaman muka air tanah pada lokasi penelitian tergolong dalam kriteria dangkal yaitu LA 40,06 cm, LB 37,48 cm , sedangkan pada LC kedalaman muka air tanahnya 31,62 cm. Reaksi tanah (pH) masam sampai sangat masam. N-total tanah rendah. C-Organik tanah sangat rendah, rendah, dan sedang. C/N ratio rendah. Kata kunci : sifat fisika tanah, sawah tadah hujan

Abstract

Productivity of ginger (Zingiber officinale)  in Indonesia are generally low, this may be related to several factors such as less optimal fertilization, unsuitable environmental conditions to grow, both climate and soil fertility, as well as the use of non recommended cultivation techniques. The aims  of this study was to determine the effect of Cattle Chicken Manures on The Growth and Yield of Ginger on alluvial soil. The experiment was conducted at the from April until Juni 2018. The research design used in this study was Completely Randomized Design with 5 levels Cattle Chicken Manures The treatments were the use of P1 = 10 ton/ha , P2 = 15 ton/ha, P3 = 20 ton/ha, P4 = 25 ton/ha, P5 = 30 ton/ha. Each treatment was repeated five times, and the experimental unit consisted of 4 plant samples. Varieties of ginger used came from farmer’s garden. The parameters measured were plant height, number of tillers, number of leaves,  number of klorofil and rhizome weight plant-1. The results showed that Peel have significant effect on plant height, number of tillers, number of leaves,  number of klorofil and rhizome weight plant. Result of diversity in this research showed that  20 ton/ha Peel equal of 2,8 kg/ha give tend better than dose another treatment toward to ginger plant and yield on alluvial soil.Keywords: Aluvial,  Chicken manures, Ginger

Abstract

Crocidolomia pavonana (F) is one of the Olygophagic pest and is the main pest in family plants (Brassicaceae) which can result in yield loss of up to 65.8%.This study aims to determine the development and reproduction of   C. pavonana (F) which is maintained with artificial diets in the laboratory. The Research was carried out in the Tanjungpura University Faculty of Agriculture Plant Pest Laboratory which began from October to January. C. pavonana (F) is preserved in a 50 ml plastic cups.The artificial diets made from Phaseolus vulgaris L. with the addition of other supporting ingredients according to the Salama method (1970).Then do the multiplication of test insects until they reach F2. Furthermore, cohort observations were carried out using 100 individual 1 instars per glass. The parameters observed were life cycle, mortality, sex ratio, fecundity, and egg fertility.The observations were made using 100 instars 1 as individual cohorts per glass .The results showed the development period of C. pavonana (F) from hatching to adult ranged between 24 – 30 days, C. pavonana (F) life cycle from egg to produce eggs again lasts 28 - 33 days an average of 30.57 days, theage of eggs until dead individual lasts 8-52 days an average of 39.23 days,the egg stage ranged from 3-5 daysan average of 4 days.Larvae consist of 4 instars, first instar stage duration (3-5 days)an average of 4.04 days, second instar (3-5 days) an average of 3.08 days, instar III (2-5 days) an average of 2.82 days, IV instar (2-3 days) an average of 2.08 days, pre-pupa (2-3 days) an average of 2.42 days and pupa (7-9 days)an average of 8.26 days. The length of life of male adult ranges between 2 – 29 days an average of 15.90 days and female adult between 4- 27 days an average of 12.90 days. The pre-laying period ranges from 2- 5 days an average of 3.3 days and the post-nesting period ranges from 2 - 11 days an average of 4.95 days. Egg fertility with an average of 88.23%. Abstract

This research was motivated by good prospect of rice commodity to increase income of farmer at Harapan Mulia village. The purpose of the research is to find out income level difference between rain containing rice field farmer that is member of farmer group and the rain containing rice field farmer that is not member of farmer group at Harapan Mulia village. Populations of the research are rain containing rice field farmer that is member and outsider of farmer group at Harapan Mulia village, with respondent 36 people of farmer group and 20 people that is not farmer group member. Analysis used is comparative independent sample t test. Abstract

The aims of the study were to determine the best concentration, frequency and interaction of apifflied paclobutrazol to Marigold plants on alluvial soil. This research was conducted on the land of farmers in Banjar Laut Village, Rasau Jaya 2 District, Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan Province from February 10, 2018 to April 12, 2018. The experimental used in this research was Factorial Randomized Complete Design (RCD) field method. with 2 treatment factors. The first factor was the concentration of spraying paclobutrazol with 4 levels of treatment (50 ppm, 100 ppm, 150 ppm, and 200 ppm) and the second factor was the frequency of spraying paclobutrazol with 3 levels of treatment (every 3 days, every 6 days, and every 9 days once) that is applied when the plants were planties. Thus, obtained 12 combinations with 3 replications and 3 samples. Variables observed in this study were plant height, leaf area, plant fresh weight, root volume, age of flowering, number of flower stalks, flower diameter, and flowers stalk length. The interaction between concentration and frequency significantly affected the variable of plant height and wet weight of the bottom. Single factor concentration of paclobutrazol significantly affected the root volume, total leaf area, age of flowering, flower diameter, and flower stalk length. The results showed that the interaction between 200 ppm concentration and frequency every 3 days produced a lower Marigold plant. In a single factor 100 ppm concentration paclobutrazol better affect root volume, upper wet weight, total leaf area, and flower diameter, while 200 ppm concentration better affect plant height, flowering age, and flower stalk length. Keywords: alluvial, marigold, paclobutrazol, growth retard

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan dosis bokasi kiapu yang terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil sawi pakcoy pada tanah aluvial. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kebun percobaan Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Tanjungpura, kurang lebih 1 bulan mulai dari tanggal 30 April sampai 25 Mei Tahun 2018. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap terdiri dari lima perlakuan dosis bokasi kiapu, lima kali ulangan, dan tiga tanaman sampel. Perlakuan yang dimaksud adalah 300 g bokasi kiapu /polybag, 540 g bokasi kiapu/polybag, 600 g bokasi kiapu/polybag, 750 g bokasi kiapu/polybag, dan 900 g bokasi kiapu/polybag. Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah volume akar, jumlah daun, jumlah klorofil daun, luas daun total, berat segar tanaman, dan berat kering atas tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian bokasi kiapu berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap volume akar, jumlah daun, jumlah klorofil daun, luas daun total, berat segar tanaman, dan berat kering atas tanaman. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian bokasi kiapu dengan dosis 10% dari berat tanah atau setara dengan 600 g/polybag merupakan dosis yang  efektif bagi pertumbuhan sawi pakcoy. Kata kunci : Aluvial, Bokasi Kiapu, Sawi Pakcoy

This research was carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Tanjungpura University Pontianak, from April 6th, 2018 to May, 25th 2018. The research method used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments, namely (f1): without bio urine, (f2): appalied once in a time (14 HST), 100 ml / L water, (f3): twice application (14.24 HST), 50 ml / L water, (f4): three times application (14,24,34 HST), 33 , 33 ml / L of water, and (f5): four times of application (14,24,34,44 HST), 25 ml / L of water. Each treatment were repeated 5 times, and each experimental unit consisted of 3 plant samples, so that the total number of plants were 75 plants. Observation variables in this study were plant height (cm), root volume (cm3), number of tillers per clump (fruit), plant fresh weight per clump (g), and plant dry weight per clump (g). The results of this study indicated that the effect of the frequency of 100 ml bio-urine giving the same response to the plant height, root volume, number of tillers, fresh weight and dry weight of onion leaves. Keywords : alluvial bio urine, onion,
