Abstract

The low use of IUD (Intrauterine device) contraception is due to ignorance of acceptors about the advantages of the method. The selection of IUD contraception can be influenced by the level of knowledge, age, and family support in the selection of contraception that is appropriate. Objective: Knowing the Factors that Influence the couples of childbearing age on IUD Contraception Selection in the Lakea Community Health Center Working Area in Lakea Buol District. The design used in the study was correctional analytic. The population is all fertile age couples. The sample size is 32 respondents using Simple Random sampling technique. Independent variables of research ware myrrh, knowledge, and family support. The dependent variable was the selection of an IUD. Data was collected using a questionnaire, then the data were analyzed using logic regression test, with a significance level of α ≤ 0.05. The results showed that most of the respondents aged 20-35 years were 18 respondents (48.6%), sufficient knowledge as many as 15 respondents (46.9%), assessment of moderate family support as many as 15 respondents (46.9%) , using other than IUD as many as 22 respondents (22%). The results showed that p <a with a value of <0.25, this can be seen in Overall Statistics with a significance value of (p) 0.003 which means that there are variables that affect the selection of IUD KB, and se When seen (p) in each -one of the independent variables namely the age variable has a value (p) of 0.004) knowledge has a value (p) of 0.002, the knowledge variable has a value (p) of 0.001. Family support has a positive influence in the form of information, instrumental assistance, emotions, and assessment given to the selection of IUD contraception by family members.

Abstract

Hypertension is a symptom of an increase in blood pressure, which will be sustained in the target organs, such as stroke, coronary heart disease and right vertebral hypertrophy. Increased arterial blood pressure can increase the risk of kidney failure, heart disease commonly called atherosclerosis is also a stroke. The Purpose of Analyzing Discharge Planning Implementation in Hypertension Patients on Patient Satisfaction Level in Mokoyurli Hospital Buol District. The design used in this study is cross-sectional analytic. The population is all hypertensive patients was 35 respondents. The sample size is 35 respondents using purposive sampling technique. Independent Variable of research is Discharge Planning. The dependent variable is Satisfaction. Data was collected using a questionnaire, then the data were analyzed using the Spearman rho test, with a significance level of α 5 0.05. he results showed that most respondents had sufficient satisfaction as many as 19 respondents (54.3%), more than half of respondents had an adequate Discharge Planning assessment of 20 respondents (57.1%). The results showed that p = 0,000 with a = 0,05, which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted so that it can be interpreted that there is a relationship between Discharge planning in Patients with Hypertension on Patient Satisfaction Level at Mokoyurli Mokoyurli Hospital Buol District, with a correlation coefficient of 0.768 which means having a relationship strong.. Discharge planning can increase knowledge with the need for behavioral changes, and take measures to prevent hypertension and ultimately patient satisfaction with services increases.

Abstract

Hypertension is a problem that is difficult to control because people with hypertension rarely feel a symptom that the patient unconsciously experiences complications in vital organs such as the brain and kidney. Prevention of hypertension can be done with a hypertensive diet in a sustainable manner to prevent further severe effects. Objective To find out whether there is a Hypertension Diet Compliance with Blood Pressure in the Elderly in Muara Besar Village Ogodeide Public Health Center Tolitoli District.. The design used in the study is correlational analytic population are all elderly hypertension. The sample size is 37 respondents using the Simple Random sampling technique. Independent variable of research is diet compliance. The dependent variable is blood pressure. Data was collected using a questionnaire, then the data were analyzed using the Spearman rho test, with a significance level of α < 0.05. The results showed that p = 0.021 with a = 0.05, which means that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted so that it could mean that there was a relationship between adherence to the anti-hypertensive diet to blood pressure reduction in the elderly in Muara Besar Village Ogodeide Community Health Center Tolitoli District, with a correlation coefficient 0.379 which means having a strong enough relationship. An appropriate hypertension diet can help reduce blood pressure by reducing the consumption of causes that cause high blood pressure

Abstract

Poor clean and healthy life (PHBS) can cause many causes of disease, one of which is diarrhea. Diarrhea in infants and toddlers can be very dangerous because it can cause death. Death is caused by a lack of a lot of fluid that often coming out with feces. The purpose of this research is knowing the relationship of clean and healthy behavior (PHBS) in the household arrangements with the occurrence of diarrhea at the age of 1-24 months in Muara Besar village the work area of Ogodeide public health center. The design used in the study was cross sectional. The population was all mothers with infants aged 1-24 months who had diarrhea in the last 3 months. The sample size was 31 respondents using Accidental sampling technique. Independent variables of the research is PHBS. The dependent variable is the incidence of diarrhea. Data was collected using a questionnaire, then the data were analyzed using the Chi Square test, with a significance level of α ≤ 0.05. The results of the study found that most respondents had PHBS Statification I levels of 13 respondents (41.9%), and the incidence of diarrhea was 24 respondents (77.4%). The Statistical tests using Chi Square obtained p-value=0,000 with α< 0.05, which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted so it is can be interpreted that there was a relationship between Clean and Healthy Life Behavior (PHBS) in the Household arrangements with diarrhea at 1-24 months Muara Besar Village, the woeking area of the Ogodeide public Health Center. Clean and Healthy behavior prevents unhealthy conditions and one of them affects had impact on the incidence of diarrhea in children. Poor family PHBS can cause diarrhea, the better PHBS, the health family will be better and there will be no diarrhea in children.

Abstract

Pulmonary tuberculosis is a direct infectious disease caused by the germ of Tuberculosis (Mycobacterium Tuberculosis). One of the determinants of the successful management of tuberculosis therapy is patient compliance with therapy. Non-compliance with treatment will cause failure and recurrence, resulting in resistance and continuous transmission of disease. The aim is to find out whether there is a relationship between knowledge and attitude of pulmonary tuberculosis patients with adherence to taking anti-tuberculosis medication in the Isolation Room at Mokoyurli General Hospital, Kab. Buol The design used in this study is Cross Sectional. The population is all patients with pulmonary TB. The sample size was 41 respondents using purposive sampling technique. Independent research variables are knowledge and attitudes. The dependent variable is compliance. Data were collected using a questionnaire, then data were analyzed using the rho spearment test with a significance level of α ≤ 0.05. The results showed that most of the respondents before the intervention had disobedience as many as 25 respondents (65.8%), after the intervention had obedience as many as 28 respondents (73.7%), the statistical test in the study between the variables of knowledge with compliance using a spearment rho test with a <0.05 obtained p = 0,000 where H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected, which means that there is a relationship between Lung TB Patients Knowledge and Compliance with Taking Anti-Tuberculosis Medication in the Isolation Room at Mokoyurli General Hospital, Kab. Abstract

Hypertension in couples of childbearing age can be caused by the use of hormonal birth control which continues to be used by women of childbearing age, it can cause fatal complications, such as heart attacks, strokes and kidney failure. Hypertension can also cause blindness, irregular heart rhythms and heart failure. The aim of analyzing the effect of contraceptive use is the birth control pill with the incidence of hypertension in women of childbearing age in the village of Paleleh, Paleleh District, Buol District. The design used in the study was a cross sectional survey. Population is all women of childbearing age who have become KB pill acceptors. The sample size was 40 respondents using Accidental sampling technique. The independent variable of the study was the use of pill contraception. The dependent variable is the incidence of hypertension. Data was collected using a questionnaire, then data were analyzed using the Spearman Rho test, with a significance level of α ≤ 0.05. The results of the study showed that at most respondents had a duration of using the Pill for 24 months as many as 10 respondents (52.6%), the incidence of stage 2 hypertension was 15 respondents (37.5%), the results showed that the statistical test obtained p = 0,000 with a = 0.05, which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted so that it can be interpreted that there is a significant relationship on the variable length of birth control pills with the incidence of hypertension, with a correlation coefficient of 0.851 which means having a strong relationship. Birth control pills can affect blood pressure which can cause hypertension in women of childbearing age.

Abstract

Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) is one of the health problems in developing and developed countries. The World Health Organization (WHO) states that under-five mortality is generally caused by infectious diseases, and two-thirds are caused by Acute Respiratory Tract Infection or ARI. Objective To find out the effect of environmental factors on recurrent ISPA occurrence in children under five years of age in the work area of ​​Baolan Health Center, Tolitoli District. The design used in this study is cross-sectional analytic. The population is all mothers who have children with a history of Ispa disease in the last 6 months without complications (asthma, pulmonary tuberculosis, pneumonia). The sample size is 75 respondents using the Simple Random Sampling technique. Independent Variables of research are Environmental Factors. Dependent variable is Repeated Ispa Event based on observation of Toddler Medical Record. Data was collected using a questionnaire, then the data were analyzed using the Logistic Regression test, with a significance level of α 5 0.05. The results showed that p <a with a value of <0.05, this can be seen in Overall Statistics with a significance value of (p) 0.001 which means that there are variables that affect the incidence of recurrent ARI, and when viewed (p) in each independent variables namely ventilation variable has a value (p) of 0.007 occupancy density variable has a value (p) of 0.009, mosquito repellent use variable has a value (p) of 0.038, cooking fuel type variable has a value (p) of 0.073, the variable habit of smoking family members has a value (p) of 0.003. The discussion of this study was ventilation factors, occupancy density, use of medicinal drugs, types of cooking fuel, smoking habits of family members affecting the incidence of recurrent ARI in children under five years of age in the work area of ​​the Baolan Community Health Center, Tolitoli district.

Abstract

Understanding of mothers about immunization is very necessary because with high knowledge about immunization, it is expected that mothers want to fully immunize their children and not be afraid or anxious. Objective To find out the level of knowledge and anxiety about the effects of immunization on the motivation of mothers to provide complete basic immunization in the UPTD area of ​​Paleleh Health Center, Buol Regency. The design used in the study was cross sectional. Population is all mothers who have babies / toddlers. The sample size was 188 respondents using Purposive Sampling techniques. Independent variables of research are Knowledge and anxiety. The dependent variable is motivation. Data was collected using a questionnaire, then data were analyzed using the Spearman Rho test, with a significance level of α ≤ 0.05. The results showed that more than half of respondents had enough knowledge as many as 99 respondents (52.7%), had mild anxiety as many as 86 respondents (45.7%), had sufficient motivation as much as 82 respondents (43.6%). The results of the study with a <0.05 found that knowledge (p = 0,000) and anxiety (p = 0,000) on motivation with p <a, so it can be concluded that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected which means that there is a relationship between Knowledge and Anxiety About Immunization Effects Against the Motivation of Mothers Giving Complete Basic Immunization in the UPTD Working Area of ​​Paleleh Health Center, Kab. Abstract

Infectious disease is still one of the important public health problems, especially in developing countries. Inappropriate use of antibiotics can cause several effects, namely the occurrence of germ or bacterial resistance. Objective To determine whether there is a relationship between the level of knowledge analysis with the compliance of antibiotic use in outpatients in the Gadung District Health Center. Buol The design used in this study is Cross Sectional. The population was all outpatients who received antibiotic treatment. The sample size was 42 respondents using total sampling technique. The independent variable of research is knowledge. The dependent variable is compliance. Data were collected using a questionnaire, then data were analyzed using the rho spearment test with a significance level of α ≤ 0.05. The results showed that almost half of respondents had sufficient knowledge of 18 respondents (42.9%), obedient respondents were 23 respondents (54.8%), the statistical test in this study used the Spearmen's rho test with a <0.05 obtained p = 0,000 where H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, which means that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge and compliance with the use of antibiotics in outpatients in Gadung District Health Center. Abstract

Background: Hematemesis melena is a patient’s condition with black stools or stools caused by upper gastrointestinal bleeding. Hypovolemic patients with hematemesis melena usually experience nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. This study aims to describe nursing care for hypovolemia in patients with hematemesis melena. Methods: This research method uses a case study design. Data collection started from assessment to evaluation in the Kasuari ward of Simpang Lima Gumul Hospital in December 2021. The hematemesis melena patient was observed or treated for at least two days. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using narrative analysis. Results: assessment of Mr. P with the main complaint complaining of vomiting blood for ±10 days, abdominal pain, weakness, black stools for ±10 days, and urinating for five days. The nursing diagnosis in the case of Mr. P is the actual diagnosis with priority hypovolemia related to functional fluid loss (D.0023). Nursing intervention for Mr. P was compiled based on the diagnosis of hypovolemia using pharmacological techniques such as antibiotics. Conclusion: The patient showed a not-so-significant decrease because the patient still had time to vomit blood and bloody stool.
