Abstract

The aims of this research were to know : (1) The influence of CSR variables (employee, environment, community) as independent varables either partially or simultaneously towards Return on Assets (2) The influence of CSR variables(employee, environment, community) as independent varables either partially or simultaneously towards Tobin’s Q. The method of this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The research sample were taken from Corporate’s data on IDX through annual report and financial information from financial reports for manufacturers, developers, and miners (just typically pure trading corporates were not included) in the period 2010 to 2012 with the purposive sampling method. There were 95 of the companies that met the criteria and were accumulated for three years, so total of samples became 285 samples. The result of research showed that all of CSR variables gave positive significant influence simultaneously towards the dependent variables of ROA and Tobin’s Q. Partially, the variables of employees and community were positively significant influencing the dependent variable of ROA, and only employees as the independent variable had positive influence towards Tobin’s Q

Abstract

Education is one of the elements of character formation and development of human beings. Cultural diversity education is a conscious effort to develop personality inside and outside school to learn about the different kinds of social status, race, ethnicity, religion in order to create a good personality in dealing with issues of cultural diversity. In this article we propose a framework of cultural diversity education in academic program for accounting students. The education emphasizes knowledge of and interaction with other cultures and ethnicities.Cultural diversity education and understanding of the relativity of cultural differences is a our growing sense and awareness of the importance of respect, recognize and accept the diversity that already exist

Abstract

The research goal is to knowing about: value of local wisdom preserved in the tourist area as a tourist attraction, application of the approach of green marketing in an effort to preserve the value of local wisdom in the tourist area, attraction other potential supporters developed in the tourist area with green marketing approach and role of POKDARWIS to preserve the tourist areas.This study uses a qualitative method using a phenomenological approach. There is the approach with the special characteristic that happen in this location bamboo forets,using interviews, observation / observation and document research techniques.The research results are expected value of local wisdom is like traditions, customs owned by the community can be preserved. Green marketing approach serves as activity to keeping concept of local wisdom in the tourist area as environmentally sound educational of bamboo it can be exis and then can be iconic this location always good and useful to enviroinment and society arroun this place. Kelompok Sadar Wisata / POKARWIS give the contribute to bring a succesthe green marketing activity and the activity to be serve of the value local wisdom from the environmental concern

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to contribute in the efforts to attract domestic and foreign tourists to visit the monkey park forest of considerable potential as a tourist attraction, create jobs and reduce theunemployment rate in the area. Raising revenue Lampung Bandar Lampung city government especially 23 in the tourism sector. Population in Bandar Lampung penenlitian is a community with a sample of 400 respondents.Hypothesis 1, 4, 5, 6 and 7 are Ho accepted means all has no significant effect, while for hypothesis 2 and 3 is Ha accepted means all there is significant influence. result the coefficient of determination R Square of 0.014 or 14%, this indicates that that variable aspects of tourism development (X2) is affected by the tourism development concept variables (X1) while the remaining 81.6% influenced by other factors. this suggests that government asset variable Bandar Lampung (Y2) is affected by the tourism development concept variables (X2) and tourism development efforts (Y1) with a percentage value obtained was 54.9% while the remaining 36.1% influenced by other factors in addition to the variable aspects - aspects of tourism development (X2) and tourism development efforts (Y1).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the facility in Aston Madiun Hotel & Conference Center. To determine customer satisfaction at Aston Madiun Hotel & Conference Center. To know the facility is there any influence on customer satisfaction Aston Madiun Hotel & Conference Center. The method in this research is descriptive quantitative method, while the sampling technique in this research is cluster sampling, that customers who stayed at Aston Madiun Hotel & Conference Center with a number of 101 respondents. Collecting data using questionnaires and observation methods. In analyzing the data the instruments used are validity and reliability. To test the assumption using normality test. And to test the hypothesis of this study using simple linear regression analysis of the data, the determinant coefficient, and t test. The results were obtained a total score of facilities has a value above the average of 59 respondents, while below the average of 42 respondents. Y = 11.727 + 0,820X. The constant equal to 11.727, meaning that if the variable or constant fixed-value amenities, the amount Customer Satisfaction is 11.727. This means that without the influence of the amenities variable customer satisfaction will continue to have a value of 11.727. A regression coefficient of 0.820 has the sense that if an increase in 31 the Facility variables Customer satisfaction will rise by 0.820 of one unit assuming other variables remain. The coefficient is positive means that there is a positive relationship Facility and Customer Satisfaction. Based on the analysis above can be seen the value of R2 is 0.799. So the influence of facilities to customer satisfaction Aston Madiun Hotel & Conference Center 79.9% while the remaining 20.1% is influenced by other factors. So it can be concluded that the facility has an influence on customer satisfaction. T test calculations obtained was 19.810 while ttabel 1.937. Thus H0 is rejected, meaning that there is influence overall facility to customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Retensi mahasiswa bersifat penting bagi keberhasilan sebuah institusi pendidikan ti ggi dan kepuasan yang dirasakan mahasiswa merupakan faktor penting untuk mencapai retensi tersebut. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji model yang terintegrasi dari kualitas layanan dan citra institusi terhadap retensi secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui kepuasan mahasiswa. Sekitar 106 siswa dari lima institusi pendidikan tinggi di sekitar Lumajang, Jawa Timur, turut berpartisipasi sebagai responden dalam penelitian. Pemodelan persamaan struktural dengan basis pendekatan Partial Least Square (PLS) digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis yang dikembangkan dari kajian empiris sebelumnya. Dari tujuh hipotesis yang diajukan, hanya satu yang ditolak, yakni tidak adanya efek penting dari citra institusi yang dirasakan mahasiswa terhadap retensi yang ditunjukkan. Dari data empiris dan model konseptual yang telah dibangun, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan mahasiswa memiliki peran mediasi penting atas pengaruh kualitas layanan dan citra institusi yang dinilai oleh mahasiswa untuk mendorong kemauan tetap tinggal dan menyelesaikan studinya di perguruan tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan temuan menarik yang menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan mahasiswa atas institusi pendidikan tinggi lebih dipengaruhi oleh citra institusi dibandingkan dengan kualitas layanan. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, gagasan untuk membangun citra institusi yang lebih baik dan memberikan layanan pendidikan yang berkualitas untuk mendorong kepuasan mahasiswa lebih tinggi menjadi sangat penting di industri pendidikan mempertimbangkan bahwa secara umum dalam pemasaran biaya untuk menarik pelanggan jauh lebih tinggi daripada biaya untuk mempertahankannya.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. The study aims to determine the priority of quality improvement of hospital service based on perception, expectations and importance of customers by using lean six sigma approach. The results of the study are expected to contribute to hospital management in providing the best service for the community. This research determines the priority of service quality improvement of hospital based on service quality dimension consisting of (1) tangible, (2) reliability, (3) reponsiveness, (4) assurance and (5) emphaty. This study is a qualitative descriptive research intended to analyze the responses of respondents on the quality of hospital services based on perception, expectations and importance will be used to determine the priority of improving the quality of hospital services. Research respondents were 240 service users in four hospitals in Lumajang district. Data analysis technique using lean six sigma approach by first testing the research instrument with validity and reliability test. The results of the study there are differences in the order of priority of service quality improvement at four hospitals. Priority improvement in dr Haryoto hospital is the ability and dexterity in dealing with patient complaints, at the Bhayangkara hospital is the timeliness of open counter service, at Wijaya Kusuma hospital is completeness of examination equipment, and Islam hospital is the ability of the officer to explain thhe results of the examination.

Abstract

Bank Rakyat Indonesia merupakan Bank Pemerintah Pertama di Indonesia. Memiliki visi yaitu menjadi bank komersial terkemuka yang selalu mengutamakan kepuasan nasabah. Berdasarkan visi tersebut BRI Cabang Kota Makassar selalu melakukan evaluasi dari tahun ke tahun dalam hal penciptaan kepuasan nasabah. BRI Cabang Kota Makassar sadar betul bahwa kualitas produk memiliki peran penting dalam penciptaan kepuasan nasabah. Nasabah yang semakin kritis terhadap kualitas produk yang diperoleh, membuat BRI Cabang Kota Makassar harus dapat melaksanakan kegiatan operasional sebaik mungkin untuk memberikan produk terbaik kepada nasabahnya penelitian ini mencakup dua hal yaitu kualitas produk mempengaruhi kepuasan nasabah atau kualitas produk tidak mempengaruhi kepuasan nasabah. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada unit kerja operasional Bank BRI di Sulawesi Selatan yang terdiri dari 10 buah kantor cabang untuk 10 kabupaten dan Kota, antara lain Kantor Cabang BRI Makassar, Maros, Pangkep, Sidrap, Sengkang, Palopo, Sungguminasa, Takalar, Jeneponto, dan Bulukumba, Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah jumlah nasabah yang menabung pada rekening tabungan Britama BRI pada Kantor Cabang BRI di Sulawesi Selatan, karena jenis tabungan ini memiliki fitur dan karakteristik yang relatif sama dan merupakan produk tabungan Bank BRI yang diunggulkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas produk terhadap kepuasan nasabah terdapat pengaruh secara positif dan signifikan, yang berarti bahwa semakin tinggi persepsi nasabah terhadap kualitas produk tabungan Britama, maka nasabah semakin merasa puas. Hal ini berarti bahwa semakin baik kualitas produk tabungan yang diberikan oleh Bank BRI di Sulawesi Selatan, maka nasabah semakin merasa puas terhadap produk Bank BRI di Sulawesi Selatan

Abstract

This research is an empirical study to tested the accuracy of Chen and Hsu’s Fuzzy Time Series Method used to forecast sharia market stock index in Jakarta Islamic Index. The data used in this research are secondary data consists of daily stock market indexes during 23 November 2016 to 14 July 2017. Chen dan Hsu’s Fuzzied Series Method used in this research has the smallest MSE (Mean Square Error) and AFER (Average Forecasting Error Rate) value rather than others method such as Song and Chrissom (1993). Song and Chrissom (1994), Chen (1996), Hwang, Chen and Lee (1998), Huarng (2001) and Chen (2002). To tested the accuracy of the Chen’s dan Hsu’s Fuzzied Series Method researcher has to do 5 (five) steps such as (1) Determine lag between historical data, interval and The Universe Data (U), (2) Distributing Data into The Unniverse, (3) Define The Fuzzy Set, (4) Determine The Fuzzy Logical Relationship (FLR), and (5) Analyse the Difference between data. There are 3 (three) rules in Chen’s dan Hsu’s Fuzzied Series Method based on the Difference and FLR. The result of this research is Chen dan Hsu’s Fuzzied Series Method has MSE = 1.88 and AFER =0.006% and it can be used to make forecasting on value and trend sharia stock market in Jakarta Islamic index.

Abstract

This study aims to examine or analyze the proposition on the brand image of noodles and meatballs in lumajang based on psycholinguistic review. Research on language proposition on brand image using qualitative research type and designed using case study design. The relationship between the arguments and predictions that emerged in the research data showed varied languages. The contents of the proposition on the brand image of "bakso beranak", "mie nyonyor" and demon noodles show a logical and detailed relationship between each argument and predication. The content of the brand image proposition "baksojudes" does not indicate the relation of argument and predication. The interproposition relationship of "bakso beranak" shows the description of the presentation. The interproposition relationship of "bakso judes", "mie nyonyor", and "mie iblis" shows descriptions of taste. The uniqueness of the proposition's contents on the "meatballs beranak" shows the description of the packaging and form of presentation. The uniqueness of the proposition's content on "bakso judes", "mie nyonyor ", and "mie iblis" shows a flavor description, so that the brand can attract consumers.
