was to determine the effect of the Birth Ball on reducing pain in women giving birth during the first active phase in the delivery room at the Bancar Health Center. This type of research used a quasi-experimental design with a two group pretest posttest design. The population of all mothers giving birth from January to February 2022 is 55 respondents, with a sample of 16 respondents as the intervention group and 16 as the control group. Simple random sampling technique. Analysis of this data uses the independent sample T-Test if the data is normal, if the data is not normal using the Mann Whiteney U-Test. SOP Birth Ball and Visual Analog Scale instruments. The results of this statistical test are based on independent sample T-Test decision making with Asymp values. Sig. (2-tailed) 0.012 < 0.05 which means the hypothesis is accepted. There is an influence of the Birth Ball on reducing pain in women giving birth during the first active phase in the birthing room of the Bancar Health Center. This research can be used as a reference in adding information to provide information and education regarding the implementation of birthball therapy for mothers giving birth during the first active phase.

Abstract

Background: Low Birth Weight (LBW) Infants often experiences feeding difficulties due to oromotor function immaturity, which directly inhibits weight gain and prolongs hospitalization. Oral motor stimulation is a promising non-pharmacological intervention to address this issue, but quantitative evidence regarding its impact in the context of local care still needs to be strengthened. Objective: This study aims to analyze the effect of oral motor stimulation intervention on weight gain in LBW infants. Method: This study used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-post test design. A total of 18 LBW infants who met the inclusion criteria in the Perinatology Room of R. Ali Manshur Hospital, Tuban, received oral motor stimulation intervention for 15 minutes every day for 7 consecutive days. Weight data before and after intervention were analyzed using the Paired Samples t-Test after meeting the assumption of normality through the Shapiro-Wilk test. Results: The results showed an increase in average body weight from 2122.22 grams (SD=181.68) to 2608.33 grams (SD=88.43). There was a very significant difference in body weight with an average increase of 486.11 grams; t = -13.736; p <0.001). Conclusion: Oral motor stimulation intervention was significantly effective in increasing weight gain in LBW infants. This intervention can be an important component of nursing care to optimize growth outcomes and support readiness to go home in this vulnerable population.

MMR in Indonesia has experienced a significant decline per 100,000 KH in 2010 to 189 per 100,000 KH in 2020 or a decrease of 45% in the last 10 years. Danger signs of pregnancy are signs that can identify dangers that can occur during pregnancy which if not reported or detected can cause death to the mother. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of pregnant women about early detection of danger signs of pregnancy in the work area of the Telaga Dewa Health Center, Bengkulu City. Method : Descriptive research method, namely the researcher describes or provides an overview of the object being studied based on the data obtained. If the danger signs of pregnancy are not detected early, it can cause problems for the mother and fetus, resulting in a risk of death. Pregnant women's knowledge of the danger signs in pregnancy will minimize obstetric emergencies. Therefore, there is a need for education regarding this matter to increase knowledge among pregnant women. Method : This study employed a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-test and post-test approach. The sample consisted of 78 third trimester pregnant women selected through simple random sampling. Data collection involved pre-and post-intervention questionnaires, followed by univariate and bivariate analyse. Result :  The results of the study showed that there was an increase in the knowledge of pregnant women in the third trimester after being given intervention using audiovisual media, previously there were (34.6%) respondents with good knowledge, (32.1%) with sufficient knowledge, (33.3%) with less knowledge and after being given the intervention it increased to (91.0%) respondents with good knowledge, and (9.0%) respondents with sufficient knowledge. Abstract

Background: Blistered nipples are a common problem faced by breastfeeding mothers, characterized by cracked, red, and sometimes bleeding nipples. This study aims to analyze the influence of education with animated videos on knowledge about the prevention of nipple abrasions in postpartum mothers. Method: This study used quasi-experimental pre-test and post-test design with control group. The subjects of the study of 60 postpartum mothers were divided into two groups each consisting of 30 mothers in the intervention group and 30 mothers in the control group selected by consecutive sampling. The tool used is a questionnaire. The duration of the animation video is seven days, with three sessions. The results of the analysis of the data normality test using Shapiro-Wilk with a value of ≥0.05 showed that the data was distributed normally. Data analysis using the T test is not paired with SPSS 25 for Windows. Result: Before starting the help for the intervention group showed they had an average score of 70.3. Meanwhile, the control group had an average score of 68.2. The average outcome of knowledge after intervention was given in the intervention group was 96.8 and in the control group 69.7. The results of statistical tests using unpaired T tests showed Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) ≤0.000, which indicates a significant effect of this therapy, there was a noticeable difference in how much the two groups knew about preventing sick nipples. Conclusion: Animated videos can be an alternative to increase postpartum mothers' knowledge about the prevention of putting blisters.

This study aims to assess the effectiveness of self-hypnosis with a booklet on anxiety during the third trimester. Method: The research design used is a quasi-experimental pretest- posttest with a control group using consecutive sampling. The study subjects comprised 60 pregnant women in the third trimester, divided into 30 women in the intervention group and 30 women in the control group. The intervention was conducted eight times a month for 30 minutes, using the PASS questionnaire. Result: The statistical test results using the paired T-test for pretest and posttest in each group showed p<0.05, meaning that there was significant effectiveness in the intervention group after being given self-hypnosis using a booklet. the majority of respondents answered statement 4 “Worry about many things” with a frequency of “often” to “sometimes” and statement 12 “Wanting things to be perfect” with a frequency of ‘always’ to “sometimes.” Meanwhile, in the control group, the majority of respondents answered statement 4 “Worry about many things” with a frequency of “often” to “always” and statement 12 “Wanting things to be perfect” with a frequency of ‘always’ remained “always”. Conclusion: Self-hypnosis using a booklet can be used as a non-pharmacological alternative to reduce anxiety in pregnant women. Midwives can apply this method.

Method: Correlational  analytic  research  method, Case  Control  time  approach.  The population of all mothers and children under five aged 2-4 years, a large sample of 34 respondents using simple random sampling. The independent variable is socio-economic, the dependent variable is the incidence of stunting. Questionnaire data collection instrument and z-score value. Research analysis using Spearman test. Result: The results of the analysis using SPSS 16.0 for windows, obtained spearman (rs) = -0.360 and the value of Sig. 2 tailed (p) = 0.036 then p <0.05 H1 is accepted meaning that there is a socio-economic relationship with the incidence of stunting with p value (0.000).
