Abstract

Christian faith recognizes the existence of the Holy Spirit as the divine person promised by Jesus. But not all Christians experience the involvement of the Holy Spirit in their lives. Whereas a person who is led by the Holy Spirit will experience spiritual growth, so that he lives according to God's truth and his life bears witness. This study aims to answer the question, what is the role of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers in leading to all truth? This research is a library research using descriptive analysis method, with the Bible as the main source and support of reliable literature. The conclusion of this research is, first, the Holy Spirit makes the person he leads free from sin and intimidation from the evil one. Second, the Holy Spirit gives wisdom and understanding to know Jesus and live it at every step of the life journey. Third, the Holy Spirit leads to the whole truth of God, so that the person he guides avoids deception.

Abstract

Covid-19 pandemic has caused churches to change their worship patterns from those implemented in church buildings to virtual worship at home. This decision relates to the government's call for social distancing and physical distancing in order to break the chain of transmission of the virus which is very easy to move especially through interactions between people in the crowd. In connection with this new worship phenomenon, this research aims to analyze and explore the theological principles of Christian worship, especially with regard to the question of the relevance of worship together in church buildings after the Covid-19 pandemic ends. The method used is descriptive qualitative through research on various literatures to produce a theologically based writing. Based on this study, it is concluded that joint worship in the church building remains relevant because it has an accountable basis. This is certainly important in the education and maturity of the people so that they continue to view worship in the church building is something that is important to carry out even after the phenomenon of the Covid-19 pandemic passed. AbstrakPandemi Covid-19 telah menyebabkan gereja-gereja harus mengubah pola ibadahnya dari yang dilaksanakan di gedung gereja kepada pola ibadah virtual di rumah. Hal ini berkaitan dengan imbauan pemerintah untuk melakukan social distancing dan physical distancing demi memutus mata rantai penularan virus tersebut yang sangat mudah berpindah terutama melalui interaksi antar manusia di dalam kerumunan. Berkaitan dengan fenomena ibadah yang baru ini, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa dan menggali prinsip teologis ibadah Kristiani, khususnya berkaitan dengan pertanyaan masih relevankah beribadah bersama di gedung gereja setelah pandemi Covid-19 berakhir. Metode yang digunakan bersifat kualitatif deskriptif melalui penelitian terhadap berbagai literatur sehingga diharapkan menghasilkan tulisan yang bersifat teologis. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, disimpulkan ibadah bersama di gereja tetap relevan dilaksanakan karena memiliki landasan yang dapat dipertanggungjawabkan. Hal ini tentunya penting dalam pendidikan dan pendewasaan umat sehingga tetap memandang beribadah di gereja adalah sesuatu hal yang penting dilaksanakan bahkan setelah fenomena pandemi Covid-19 berlalu.

Abstract

This writing is motivated by the problem of the lack of church members who use the house as a place of spiritual formation. This is due to the lack of family skills in carrying out coaching tasks both practically and theologically. Another problem is that many coaching programs are centered in the church, thus consuming family time. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, it was necessary to attend church from home in accordance with government recommendations. By using a qualitative approach, and using a descriptive analysis study research method, accompanied by a descriptive analysis study it was found that the house can be used as a place for the formation of church members. Optimization of the house as a place for fostering church members is done by expanding the dimensions of the function of the house that is not only a place to live but as a place to educate, a place of worship and the ongoing community of faith. AbstrakTulisan ini dilatarbelakangi adanya masalah minimnya warga gereja yang memanfaatkan rumah sebagai tempat pembinaan rohani. Hal ini disebabkan kurangnya ketrampilan keluarga melakukan tugas-tugas pembinaan baik secara praktis maupun teologis. Masalah yang lain adalah banyaknya program pembinaan yang berpusat di gereja, sehingga menyita waktu keluarga. Dalam masa Pandemi Covid-19, mengharuskan bergereja dari rumah sesuai dengan anjuran pemerintah. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dan memakai metode penelitian studi deskriptif analisis, disertai dengan kajian analisis deskriptif didapati bahwa rumah dapat dijadikan sebagai tempat pembinaan warga gereja. Optimaliasasi rumah sebagai tempat pembinaan warga gereja, dilakukan dengan cara memperluas dimensi fungsi rumah yang bukan saja sebagai tempat tinggal, melainkan sebagai tempat mendidik, tempat beribadah dan berlangsungnya komunitas iman.

Abstract

This  paper is an insight into the revitalization of Christian mission in dealing with secularism in Catholic and Prostestant churches in the Netherlands. Analysis from various collective sources as a consideration to find out how much degradation of the Christian Faith is caused by the influence of secularism and on the other hand also to find out how much influence from the church that still remains. The research used is qualitative descriptive with a literature review, the authors sought the results of this study are expected to help the church to be able to revitalize the Christian mission of secularism in the younger generation, schools within the church environment, evangelism, and contextualization so that the church is expected to return to its heyday. ABSTRAKPaper ini sebagai wawasan tentang revitalisasi misi Kristen dalam menghadapi sekulerisme di gereja-gereja Katolik dan Prostestan di Nederland. Analisis dari berbagai sumber kolektif sebagai pertimbangan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar degradasi Iman Kristen disebabkan oleh sekulerisme dan disisi lain juga untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh dari gereja yang masih tersisa. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskritif kualitatif dengan tinjauan pustaka.  Penulis berupaya hasil penelitian ini diharapkan membantu pihak  gereja  untuk dapat revitalisasi misi Kristen terhadap sekulerisme di generasi muda, sekolah dilingkungan gereja, penginjilan, dan kontekstualisasi sehingga diharapkan gereja kembali mengalami zaman kejayaanya.
